Service was a little slow. But the food was excellent. Had the Eye Fillet (cooked to perfection), veg, chips & mushroom gravy. The vanilla creme Broulee was really good. Definitely will return for another meal.

Fantastic local pub with a great atmosphere suitable for a dinner date or a social get together. Had many meals here and always felt extremely welcome, friendly and helpful service with meals coming out within 20 minutes or so. Parmas are consistently thick, moist and have a great amount of toppings. Highly rate if you're passing through the area or are in need of a solid regular pub.

Lovely pub in Williamstown with reliable classic pub meals. Each time I have the Parma or steak it’s served quickly and piping hot, with the steak always cooked to perfection. The prices are also reasonable for the portion size and quality of food. Service is always attentive and very friendly.

Good pub food. Good presentation to. However, staff were not wearing masks indoors which made me uncomfortable which at this time of the review, Victorians still need to wear masks indoors.

Thought l would go try a pub burger. Thank god l went. The burger was great. Wagyu beef def a winner. Beetroot spread was new and added to the flavour. This is a winner. Not keen on the fries though. Just to plain for me. Maybe a few light spices would add to the great burger. The menu was great and a winner as always is highlighting where the produce comes from. Great work. Will be back for sure. Another bonus is the location of the hotel. Cheers.

I had my birthday lunch there. We had about 35 people. Staff exceptionally corteous and professional. Food was very good. Friendly atmosphere. Many thanks to Michael Snedden for organizing this special time. I would definately recommend.

We had a lovely night on Friday night, food was nice however the service was very poor. We sat at our table with empty glasses for a long time and could not attract the staffs attention as they were too busy talking and laughing together. There were other tables also wanting drinks, but no service!! Given that there were way too many staff on duty, they obviously were not interested in working. Perhaps a Manager would be a good idea!!

Went for Mother's Day food was great but could have made mothers feel a bit special ie free glass of champagne or a chocolate. But apart from that the food was great

Delicious modern pub food. Love the rib eye and all the pub classics. Great old pub atmosphere and great service. If you haven't been lately, head in and check it out for yourself. The new refurb and menu is fantastic. Best in Williamstown by far.
