Great dumplings that are always fresh and tasty. Great range to choose from as well and the size of them is generous. The chicken curry laksa - big tick. This place isn’t fancy but doesn’t need to be. Staff are great. The menu is comprehensive and here is something for everyone. Dietaries are catered for - just let the staff know. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Reasonable parking.
Have always gone here since before the new owners. It’s just as good if not better now.
Cheap fresh meals that are tasty, and the owners are really nice. It’s not a restaurant obviously but it’s nice and cosy to eat in.
Will continue to eat here and recommend to others.
Randomly walked in as was craving for some yum cha food on a Sunday afternoon. It’s actually pretty good and tasted homemade! Decor is pretty ordinary but that’s comes with authenticity. If I lived closer, I’d be getting takeaway every week.
Much better than many other Yum Cha restaurants I've visited. The staff are really patient and they have much more variety than you would expect.
Have tried most Chinese cuisine in Williamstown not much choices never really considered eatting at this place but one time my family and I went to try it out and ordered the pan fried dumpling because of the reviews and was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend it and the service was lovely and serving was quite fast. Will definitely come back soon!!
Never really liked Chinese food this place changed my mind. Definitely will come back again and would really recommend the pan fried dumplings and the BBQ buns!
Great Food, Pan fried dumpling and wonton soup is a must try. The service was lovely, this place is definitely worth visiting and i would for sure come back to visit another time.
I know there 'aint much choice for dumplings in Willi, but this place has the best dumplings in town. Also the place is open late which is a bit of a novelty in Willi especially in Ferguson street!
I love the pork dumplings here. It's about $5.80 and it is well cooked and flavoured. The staff have always been quite welcoming. I tried the hot noodles that they had this dish had the right amount of spices. Over all one very happy customer
Yum, yum, yum. What a delightful surprise. We've walked past this place so many times and to be honest we judged this book by its cover. The place we were going to was closed so wanting a quick lunch we decided to try it on a whim. Best decision we made today. We ordered 6 dishes from the Yum Cha...
Always put off by the look of this place but today as neighbour wanted to go, I went there for the first time.
Being a Chinese, I can guarantee this is very authentic! And the flavour is very good!! I tried to figure out why it has such low ratings and what are people's concerns, my conclusion is that maybe some people had bad experience but there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the place.
We went at Tuesday lunch time and it was busy. Isn't that a good sign? The owner clearly doesn't have a wonderful taste for decoration but that's ok, because they only need to know how to cook!
Wow this little unassuming gem in the middle of blah Chinese takeout of Williamstown... Go and enjoy the Yum Cha.... Or the fried Koay Teow... Or the crispy chicken sat and pepper... Taste the freshness and the flavours... Yum
Oh wow! Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior, and don't order noodles just because this was once a noodle place. EAT THE YUM CHA!! All home made and each morsel better than any I've had at other (heinously more expensive) yum cha houses. If dreams come true once day I'll be able to order a beer to wash them down, but irrespective I am sure I'll be back here breakfast, lunch or dinner, many times!
Fantastic, fresh, authentic home style yum cha. The chickens feet were some of the best we've ever tasted. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.
First time to Williamstown and this restaurant. Food was super delicious, really happy we ate here and we tried a variety of dishes and all were tasty. Would recommend.

The food here is delicious, especially their noodles (hand made, you can taste the difference). Very decent portion sizes. The owner was really nice to us also.
The food here is delicious. The prices are moderate, but the servings are above average size for yum cha options and average for noodles, etc. So it evens out as good value.
It is an authentic and straightforward place with great service, serving delicious food made with care and pride. Highly recommended.
