Review Chocolate Dip - Williamstown

$$ Overall it has good decor, it is new and clean. However the coffee was just a pass as was the meal presented. The menu listed brocolinni as one of the items served and the plate came with broccoli instead, the food served was warm not hot. Staff were friendly so giving points for that but the food and coffee needs to be improved. This is a personal thing, I don't like TV's in a café.

Our kids love coming here for their sugar hit. Waffles, pancakes and churros are brilliant. I had my first ever crepe here too and thought it was terrific. Coffee was as good as I've had it anywhere else. Would've put 5 stars but that can only happen over time when a new business irons out all it's teething problems. Certain we'll be back especially in the warmer times if the year.

Great food and good service! Awesome for breakfast and lunch (and probably dinner, though I haven't tried that yet)! (Early lunch? No problem. Lunch menu available after 7am! 😀) The seating area outside is simple but inviting. The seating area inside is kept modern and is despite it's "long corridor"-feeling sufficiently cozy.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Came here on a weekday, and while the food was delicious (had the shakshouka for breakfast), I have to agree with some of the other reviews about needing better quality coffee. I am a barista and was encouraged by the sight of a La Marzocco machine (high quality, well known), but I watched the shot run fast, heard the soy milk be over-stretched even for a cappuccino, and upon our second coffees (mix ups with strength desired) one was under extracted and the other, over extracted. Once they get a solid barista in there (hopefully before summer hits) this place could flourish as a business with such a prime location!! Looking forward to see how they come along.

First of all, the drinks came with a plastic straw, and then the coffee was boiling hot and burnt. We then ordered a bruschetta and an omelette, which took at least half an hour to arrive, while the cafe was hardly even half full! The omelette was average, and so was the bruschetta. Two of the pieces of toast came very lightly buttered and the other two weren't buttered at all! Overall, it was quite an expensive lunch for what it was. Disappointed and won't be back.

Such a fantastic new hidden spot in Williamstown. Have been here twice now & soo kid friendly . Soo great to keep kids occupied with coloring activities and pencils provided. Fantastic milkshakes ! The churros were sooo deliciously warm and soft inside after a good crunch from the outside. Was soo good with the chocolate dip aswell. Will be back to try some more different desserts & the authentic Lebanese dishes that sound so appealing .

If I could give it a 0 stars I would, this place looks good but the service is shocking, no water brought to our table, the coffee was bitter and cold. The menu prices are ridiculous for the serving size. Not to mention Cakes in display looked old and had been there for weeks on end. Disgusting.

I was excited to see that this cafe had lots of vegan options (none of which I tried because I'd already eaten once I discovered this spot). But I was sadly disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a flat white hoping they would do their soy coffees nicely considering the vegan friendliness. But my coffee was bitter and mostly made up of froth. The service also wasn't great, as staff seemed to have a bit of attitude and never brought water to the table - we had to go get our own. Unfortunately this visit left a bad taste in my and my co-diners' mouths.

Misleading menu description for the "Meat Board". The "pita" was not really pita at all, but just a wrap like you'd buy in a pack from the supermarket. And the "salad" was more like a salsa, it was a tiny bowl of diced tomato and onion. The meat itself was average, very small pieces though and dry. For $24.50 I was disappointed, I expected a lot more in terms of quantity and quality.

Great place for breakfast, especially for cyclists. They have various chefs specials which are worth trying. Good friendly service. Fantastic coffee too.

Friendly staff and quick service. Ordered the banana chocolate crepe and a coffee, both were great. Would return if I'm in the area again :)

We stopped in for afternoon tea. Coffee was nice but the cupcake and slice we had were pretty stale. Lovely setting on the waterfront though.
