Review Bakerst - Williamstown

Nathan Arandale
In the heart of beautiful Williamstown, in the Adelaide Hills; this bakery offers good coffee, food and good old country hospitality. Good sized and tasty pies, etc and mouthwatering sweet pastries. We got 2 large spinach and feta parcels, a chicken bacon and cauliflower pie, a large lactose free flat white and a 600ml coke; for well under $30. I've been here before and will definitely go back again. They also sell fresh, baked on premises, bread and local free range eggs, as well as a nice selection hand painted Wildlife art.

The chunky steak and pepper pie was excellent nice size steak pieces and the pepper gravy was thick and you could taste the pepper. If you like spice in your pastries you can't go wrong here. The pasties were also very tasty

Staff are friendly and the food is yummy! Their coffee is good too. They have recently redone the bakery so now there is more room for customers to come in and get what they want. Worth checking it out!

Wow your coffee was so creamy and tasty. The potato pie was delicious and the custard tart and chocolate tart were very tasty. We are glad we stopped in on a way home back to the riverland.

Had a sausage roll from here and it was very salty and greasy. I’m sure they have other nice things on the menu. The highlight was that a random cat joined us for lunch and we got to cuddle it.

My favourite stop while travelling through. You never know who you might bump into! New section gives everyone a bit more space. Prices reasonable. Service friendly. Younger staff may need a bit more training in food handling practices but the place is clean and owners work tirelessly.

Great options including all the regulars as well as some new and interesting fare like the chicken and cauliflower pie. And if you like your pepper steak pies strong, this is the place to go.

Ordered a flat white coffee for wife & a cup of white tea for self. Coffee & Cake was OK but afraid that froth on tea is a no-no. Tea was too much scalded milk in not enough hot water. A replacement cup of tea might have been nice but while being offered one we found that after 20 minutes wait, we had to leave.
