I used to work here about 4 years ago. Excellent environment and had a good team work. The owner was really nice and friendly. I wish you all the best. when I go there I won't miss to see you again. ;)
Love this place the food the coffee the apple juice it's all good!! If I could fault on anything tho it's the seating. The place is very popular and some times hard to get a seat. Other wise my elderly client and I lunch here at least once a week. :)

This is one of those rare great places. The food is fantastic, the coffees are great and the price is cheap. The woman who owns this place is friendly and has the most beautiful smile. The number of times that I have got a free loaf put in my takeaway bag, or the free stuff she gives to people is amazing. The customer service is impeccable :-) I will detour from Palm Beach when going to the city or Balmain to stop here :-)

High st Bakery, Part of my weekend ritual. Gym then bakery for amazing delicious coffee and treats for my family. When Hong and the team first started out I was so happy to have a real Vietnamese bakery within walking distance from home. For us the following are real faves: Almond Friands, Pork Rolls, Noodle Salads and the ever nourishing and comforting Pho. The baguettes are simply excellent and Hong and the team are without doubt some of the friendliest and most generous people who will serve you. I tell all my friends and family about High St Bakery and I hope that everyone gets the chance to stop by and meet Hong and try the super yummy food in the hippest bespoke decorated Vietnamese bakery and cafe on the North Shore.
I would describe this cafe as a fusion cafe as it's got coffee, and Vietnam rolls plus simple menu in Thai food as well.
Good on coffee and rolls, but didn't try out Thai food so can't comment!

High Street Bakery is a cosy and friendly family owned cafe, that serves up on what I call comfort food. It's Vietnamese pork and Portuguese chicken baguettes are seriously a must have!! Their curry puffs and satay chicken are also really good. I highly recommend ordering their mango smoothie which is all kinds of perfection. Looking forward to come back to try out their other asian dishes
Went here for lunch. The line was quite long but we got to our turn within 5 minutes or so. Ordered two different baguettes and a pho. The seating is very limited with seats very close to each other and having to share. It's not exactly a place to sit down and chit chat. The baguettes came out fast, however the pho took longer but it was good to see that they served it fresh and hot. We ordered the lemongrass beef and chicken baguettes. The bread was fresh and crispy and the ingredients were all delicious. The meat in both were quite large pieces and plentiful. Even the pho had a lot of meat. Given the size of the meals the prices are justifiable. Would recommend this for takeaway.
We had a pork roll and pho at the place.
Pork roll isn't traditional what we have at other places. The price is high end, some salad leaves in. But we enjoyed it as 'pork roll sandwich". Baguette was crunchy, nice dressing and flavour. Quite large size too.
We had pho at 10am, it was lovely. It wasn't too strong soup, but flavour was there. Love to have this light dish from morning!
A fairly standard suburban Vietnamese bakery made fancy. However they differentiate themselves with a full cooked menu and some decent baguette rolls. There is a traditional Banh Mi (Vietnamese Pork roll) for $9.50 or something but we don't buy Banh Mi for more than $5 (even that is twice the price Banh Mi in Cabramatta). Lemongrass Beef delivers consistently for us.
This place serves one of the best beef pho soups in Sydney!
I'd also recommend the beef quinoa salad, which is not only epic flavour wise, but the serving portion very generous for $12.
Staff are always so friendly and pleasant to deal with here and the food is consistently made with love.
High Street Bakery is great if you are looking for nice baked goods in Willoughby. I've been there several times and whilst it is a tiny spot to sit in and eat, it has great pastries, rolls, pies etc. There is often a line up in peak times (its right next to Harris Farm, so lots of families), but be patient, its worth the wait.
This is my favourite bakery in Sydney! They have amazing vietnamese food and bread! The vietnamese bread rolls, fresh rolls and noodle salad are healthy and filling. The pho is delicious and comforting. My favourite pastries would definitely be lemon meringue, almond croissant and blueberry/raspberry tarts. The smoothies are great tasting. Best of all the staff are very friendly and the food is definitely worth much more than the price :) The only let down would be there is limited space but takeaway is available!
This is our ultimate go to place for a big brunch. I especially love their signature baguettes, which are also such good value for money - a huge baguette with lotsa meat and veges for only $10! if you throw in a coffee with it and make it a meal, discounts on the coffee too! :) the staff here are always friendly, and they ALWAYS have fresh flowers :)
You will always see huge lines lining outside of this little gem in willoughby, but, if you are more of a sit in brunch person - fear not! even if it looks fully packed, you probably wont be waiting for more than 10 minutes MAX. most people take their baguettes & fresh bakery items away:)
When I asked Ju why she picked High Street Bakery in North Willoughby for our Saturday lunch gathering with Daddy, she said: “nice food, quiet, and amazing value for money.” Ok, sold. I was wholeheartedly impressed by, literally, everything of this buzzing suburban cafe. From the food quality, variety, portion, campos coffee, to the atmosphere. Did I mention “value for money”? We ordered this whole table of food (5 x lunch/breakfast items 4 x coffee), and it came down to a grand total of…wait for it…$51!

Outstanding sandwiches. Tried all their pork rolls and they continually deliver - with a can of soft drink - for $10 or under. Coffee excellent, service is speedy and obviously being a bakery, the baguettes are excellent. Been coming here for years.
Great coffee and bahn mi! Very crowded normally, so this time we were early and took advantage of a nice table seated outside. Lovely spot for a quick bite in the midst of grocery shopping!
Lovely cosy place with great coffee and a pretty decent roast pork roll! Not quite as flavourful as I prefer though and the seating area is incredibly cramped.
I LOVE this local gem! Delicious baked goods and the most delicious Vietnamese rolls. The coffee is also the best. Thanks for being a neighbourhood staple guys!
