The food was kinda yummy, but the beef wasn't tender and it was also quite oily. Relieved 5 momo's instead of the 6 stated on the menu. Neutral feeling about this restuarant.

Quite possibly the worst Indian meal I've ever eaten!!. We ordered home delivery and the food was very disappointing. In general the food lacked seasoning and was bland. They delivered the wrong entree (ordered the lamb cutlets, but they sent the mixed entree which didn't want). The roti was truly inedible - heavy & doughy and smelt strange. Actually threw the roti in the bin. The rice was totally unseasoned and watery. The yoghurt/mint sauce was watery and bland. The meat was overcooked. Trying to think of something positive to say .... um, nope - really isn't a single positive to my dining experience at Rup Tandoori. Don't know if they've got a new chef tonight or this is their standard quality - but I shall not be giving it another chance. Really would suggest avoiding this place if you have any standards in Indian food.

Amazing food. One of the best places I have ever dined in Chatswood area.

Reasonable meal.. We dined at Rup Tandoori last night and found it quite pleasant. The service was good and the waitress obliging. Though we were the only in-house diners they seem to do a good trade in take-away.
We shared an entrée of lamb cutlets tandoori which were exceptionally good and we would definitely order a plate each next time. Curries were ok - though the mild chicken korma hardly tasted of curry at all. The rice was fluffy and good and two small rice were quite adequate. Prices were very reasonable and it is both licensed and BYO. All in all, while not exceptional, it was quite good.

Shocking Experience. We enjoyed our meal at the same spot last year at this time but the management changed. We weren't served what we ordered and they were not edible.

Mint sauce was diluted in water and salt. Goat was not cooked through. Chicken curry was soaked in oil. Even samosa was cold and the pastry tasted raw.
There was no service. It took them 10 mins to get us the menu (there was only us 2 and a family of 5 in the restaurant) We ordered tandoori mixed plate which includes chicken tikka, shami kebab and lamb cutlet as per the menu. When the plate was brought to us the waitress said they didn't have lamb cutlet so they gave us chicken tikka, cold raw samosa and 3 unknown breadcrumb coated balls (which is not even on the menu).

Not worth spending anything there.

Worst customer experience of my life. Never never never go here. I ordered online through delivery hero. We waited patiently for over an hour. They are two doors down and told me that the delivery driver left 15 mins ago. Never called me back and there is no way you would drive the 1 minute walk. They continued to lie and lie about this. Just a really bad experience.

Terrible. The service was terrible! We had to wait a long time to get served, and once the waiter turned up, he couldn't take our order properly as he didn't know how to spell biriyani or anything else in the menu. We asked for another waiter to take our order, but no one turned up! So, not going back again!
