As a pie lover I patronize many country bakeries and cafes. I ordered a delicious looking lamb & rosemary pie. Unfortunately, the pastry appeared to be gooey, the pie consisted mainly of a flavourless whitish liquid and three(!) tiny pieces of lamb. When I questioned the manager(?) he just shrugged

Brilliant stop off on a road trip. I had the best pie I’ve ever tasted from here and the coffee was great too. Gets quite busy so you might not get a table but there’s a park across the road.
