We stopped in for lunch after a 4 hour drive... when we arrived we felt gross but we left feeling like completely new people!! The menu is terrific, the food was amazing (beetroot relish was off the charts) quick service and calm atmosphere. Thank you!!

Just lovely. Clean and tidy. Recycled furniture and repurposed old sewing machine stands for table legs. Friendly staff and a beetroot tahini to die for! :)

Winner! A group from our retirement village popped into this cafe. The food was deliciously prepared and presented. Generous serves of house made treats were eagerly devoured and enjoyed. The staff were very attentive. A wonderful time was had by all. It was unanimously decided the cafe deserved 5 stars.

Charming little cafe housed in an old bank building. The coffee was good and the bliss ball completely exceptional. Service was good too. This is a sound option in this area.

Popped into this cafe on the corner as we were passing through Winchelsea. The food was very tasty - I had a Quinoa Vegetable Tart and my partner had delicious Lamb Koftas. Coffee was good, the decor lovely and the staff friendly. I would come back again if we were in the area and definitely recommend Sweet Thyme Cafe.

Popped in for a quick mid morning breakfast for two and I was pleasantly surprised. I have driven past countless times and never thought to visit however I will now put it on my worth a visit list! There is a little seating outside, but it's open to the elements and inside it's not overly large, more cosy but still comfortable. There's some local goods on display/ sale and it does have a warm country feel. The staff are very friendly as they go about their business and the premises is very clean. I ordered the home made granola with vanilla bean yogurt and whilst I thought it looked a little bland and on the smallish side, it was really very good with lovely vanilla flavors and the thinly sliced stewed apple that wasn't smashed as indicated on the menu. A great meal nevertheless. The coffees were really good. Oddly though, they didn't have any fruit juices, neither fresh or in bottles and no mushrooms either... thought this a little strange. Really worth a visit, look out for the old grey building on the corner.

Friendly service and good coffee. A very nice setting and decor - an old bank that has been renovated - great white painted bars on all the windows, the old vault door preserved , and exposed brick walls . Disabled access available .

Classy, stylish and a joy to visit. The food is excellent, service is first rate and delivered with a smile.
The renovation of the old bank has been done with care for the past and the needs of the future. A credit to the vision of Danielle and the skill of her builder.

This cafe is a must stop when travelling through the region!! The coffee alone is worth stopping for, but they also have the most incredible homemade baked goodies for takeaway. My husband reckons the meat sausage rolls are unbeatable and I have tried a few of everything else and everything is always 10/10!! The dine in menu is very diverse and they have so many extra vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options too - seems like they’ve thought of everything! The decor is very cool and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. 10/10 every time we visit!!

Had a great experience, service was really genuine and friendly. The owner I believe was serving us. He engaged with us and our 2 year old daughter, giving her heaps of marshmallows with her bubbachino. Majority of food is made on-site I believe which is rare for cafes these days. The banana bread and home made sausage rolls were amazing. Will be back and recommending to others ! Thanks guys

This place has to have the best darn sausage rolls I’ve had in my 40 years on this earth, if you get one though make sure you get the home made tomato relish. With good ol’fashioned service with a smile. I’ll be back. Thanks bloke.. 👍👌
