Love this place! The service is fantastic! The pizzas, the pasta, the salads and the platters are all delicious! The consistency when it comes to the quality of the food is worth mentioning. The menu has a variation of options and the serving portions are generous. 10/10 would highly recommend 👌🏾😍

Situated right across the road from Windsor station, this is a lovely friendly family joint that I would highly recommend paying a visit. Food and service were top notch, and we had some nice wines by the glass at happy hour prices. I thoroughly enjoyed the marinara pizza I ordered and everyone else also liked their pizzas. Can’t fault anything. Will definitely go back!

The base is a winner here, an the toppings are ehh. Over all its was a nice pizza with a $20 price tag, it is located on chapel Street though. Guess you gotta expect the chapel tax. Pizzas we made fast, and came out hot as expect. Service was great. Restaurant was cosy with a romantic red glow.

Highly recommend. Love the pizza here. Will generally finish a night on chapel with a pizza here. Still great. Beer is always cold.

Looks good. Very disappointing taste. I’ve had better frozen pizzas. The son of the owner made the pizza for me. I ordered at 11pm, they had all the time in the world to make a good pizza - there was no rush, no pressure. The result was so underwhelming - nice staff though.

Fungi Gnocci as recommended by the waitress was unreal. Pizza is perfect! Perfect thin base and crust. Yum. Friendly service and delicious food. Leaving happy and full!

Oh seriously very good pizza! You gotta check these guys out. Pizza was perfectly made to my liking and I'm not easy to please. We ordered their tiramasu too and it was seriously amazing. Great service, friendly and fast delivery.

Prefer their puzza everytime i have a craving for pizza. They do good service and open till late. Pizza are thin crust and fresh.

Visited on a Monday night and it was really just us in the restaurant. They seem to have more of deliveries. The service was really quick and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. Ordered Fungi fettuccini and Spaghetti marinara. Loved both, the sauce is really good.<br/>For dessert we had Casatta and creme caramel both were a bit hit and miss. Would go back for the Pasta. Oh also used the Zomato gold membership 😊

I am currently pregnant and I have been craving Italian food esp pasta! Ordered twice at midnight for some Funghi pasta and it was absolutely beautiful!!!! Sauce was really tasty! Serving was big too!!!! Now I have a go to uber eats place for late night cravings 👍🏻

This is a great pizza shop and so the prefect thin bases with fresh toppings and ingredients. They are friendly and quick fast. I just sometimes wish they had some new fresh pizzas but why change a good thing right.

came here tonight with family of 4. ordered garlic bread, mushroom steak, Calamari chips, risotto, and spaghetti bol. All large portions and very satisfying.  Excellent service. We will be back again.

Ordered from here occasionally over the past 2-3 years everything has been of quality Nachos are decent, Pastas are fantastic but first time I tried the steak was quite rare, asked for medium rare, small disappointment in otherwise a decent Italian experience.

One of the worst pizza I have ever had, ordered the Toplez special pizza on Friday night July 6; poor quality, awful topping (most of the ingredients were not fresh, watery tomato base), cause stomach pain.

Picked up some takeaway on a Saturday. Had pizza and pasta. Pasta was salty as. Pizza was a simply pepperoni but the base tasted store bought. Never again.

Dinner prior to a classic movie at the Astor Theatre. Seated quickly, water and menus delivered. Nice cosy decor on a freezing night. Ordered a Mexicana, garlic and cheese pizzas and a glass of Koonunga Hill. Wine came quickly and pizza within 10 minutes. Both were very good, not wood fired gourmet, but very good for a basic pizza. Service was slightly difficult, but mainly due to the waiters accent and me being a bit deaf.....and old! Overall very good, right near the train on Chapel Street, just Under $30 for 2 small pizzas and a glass of Penfolds red, ok, not cheap, not expensive, but very good and it is Chapel Street.

I was recommended to try this place from a colleague at work and decided to give it a try. I ordered a Pollo and i found the pizza a bit dry. It could have been much better with a bit more of the sauce. Would still like to try other dishes on the menu.

Delicious food. The Gluten Free cheese pizza in particular WOW!!!! I commend anyone who is gluten intolerant to go on in and try it.<br/>Martin was a pleasure!!

Ordered the American pizza with extra onions and garlic. You know that high you get when you walk through the door of a restaurant and the smell of pizza lingers through the air making you feel like a Nona is giving you a big warm hug, your tummy starts to rumble and eyes dilute with excitement. And then you see an award from Menulog for “winner of best Italian in Melbourne – Inner” and you feel like you’re about to eat the a pizza that will lift you high into pizza heaven. That’s exactly the high I got when i went to Topelz, I was ready to be transported to Italy and have my taste buds explode.

Ordered mushroom fettuccine. I had to add some pepper and coriander. With that addition, it was near perfect. <br/><br/>Fettucine was cooked perfectly.

ordered takeaway garlic herb pizza and gnocchi....the pizza was rock solid and not enjoyable and the gnocchi was just average.<br/>they did deliver on time but to be honest i wouldnt eat here again

Feeling lazy at home..so ordered chicken tandoori pizza....their delivery was on time and i must say thw quality and taste is satisfying....definitely try again...next time probably other pizza..

Amazing place with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Loved the service and professionalism. Will visit again. The menu was nicely put together and the staff did a amazing job answering our questions and help us make our decision. Can only recommend to all my friend and family.

Always quality from Tolpelz, been here more times than I can recall and never had anything but amazing pizza! Grab a Americana, take it next door to 56 Bricks to enjoy a few froths and you have the best Sunday night in Windsor.

Are you looking for that hearty Staple, quick, easy, no Sharade, affordable and value for money. Topelz has been around since i was a kid. I now take our kids there as well. Oh Dear, can't have pizza every night, but an easy family outing watching the Chapel Street Strut, every so often is good for the soul. The staff are attentive and really try hard to show they care. Well done boys!

Ordered from these guys last night because of a friends recommendation. Got a half vegetarian half Margherita, the prices were reasonable. The food came within estimated time and was absolutely delicious. However, the reason I don't give full marks is because there was a disproportionate amount of vegetarian to Margherita, and that was disappointing. It should have been exactly half half! Very strange! Would order from these guys again though despite that.

Just the place to go on a cold, windy night!! The smell of a good cooked Italian pizza hits you "smack bang" in the face as soon as you enter this fine establishment, whilst you're greeted by the warm smiles of the pizza chefs and waitresses. <br/><br/>The warm welcomes were also matched by the nice ambience of the restaurant too - dimly lit area, not too bright, nice pleasant temperature, fairly quiet (even when more groups of people arrived later during dinner). <br/><br/>The pizzas are really good here too - we order a half-half of Capricciosa/Marinara, and we're not disappointed. Plenty of toppings, just the right thickness for the base, not too much cheese, served at a terrific temperature. Served alongside a couple of ciders - nice way to end a tough week at work!! Food was horrible, excited to see such a big range on the menu was hard choose but everything was wrong and the service was shocking, the lady told me to sit wherever so I sat in the booth she told me I couldnt sit there because it was occupied, I was there for 40 minutes and no one sat in that booth once.. so she made me sit right up the front where it was very cold, needs better servers and chefs!!

Yummy pizza. I waited a while for a take away due to a mix up in the kitchen and they threw in a free garlic bread. :) always heaps of drunk people here on Friday and Saturday nights but that's to be expected and it's a laugh.

Highly recommend this place, excellent and friendly service with all smiles. The best 'chicken avocado' I have ever tried!! Definitely would come back here!

After a few too many drinks on a friday or saturday night and having the midnight munchies topelz are always there for me with their delicious carbonara pasta! with speedy delivery, fantastic food and great service you cant go wrong with these guys. my choice of restaurant for italian in the windsor area :) keep up with the great work guys!

This place never fails anytime anywhere good consistent quality food... They say 35/40 mins and it's in my house in 20 delish!!

Big Champ. Best Australia-style pizza and pasta in Windsor and surrounding areas. Fast home delivery. Good value for money. Eat-in restaurant is family friendly. Fortunately, they haven't changed their winning formula over the many years!<br/>the quality is 100%

Went with my kids on quite tuesday evening this week. Still it took them an hour to serve our food which was average. When i asked for take away my left over pizza the manager charged us extra money for box and dip i had. Whats the point of paying extra when i paid over $50 for an average meal. Very rude and arrogent behaviour from staff and the bald guy behing the counter with tattooes on his under arms. I would suggest everyone NOT to go and Dont waste your money.

No delivery. Delivery isn't an option. The guy couldn't find a car park. Didn't ring the bell. Called me. Wanted me to come find his car. Went down, couldn't see it. Went back in. He called back telling me off for not looking hard enough. I might has well have picked it up

GREAT!. Have been eating pizza here for years, since I was at least 16 years old.. 10 years later, I still go here frequently for takeaway. There pizza's are always cooked well and taste like those authentic, aussie styled-italian pizza's (just like your old school italian corner store type.. none of this skimpy domino's stuff)<br/>I always go here for pizza when I'm in the area - keep up the great job guys.

Rip off. Paid $23 for a main Calamari dish which consisted of 6 small battered pieces of calamari and a few chips. What a joke. Never again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Absolute rubbish! Overlooked tasteless cardboard , asked for kalamata olives, got circles of soap. Asked for double pineapple, got about 7 pieces on whole pizza. Disappointing from a previous favourite.

My family and friends have been going to this pizzeria for years. The meal i had there recently was disgusting and meals that family had was average, the service was terrible too. I wouldn't serve my dinner to my dog it was that bad. Never experienced a meal so bad. We"ll never go there again.

Best GF pizzas!. I am regular that Topelz becase they are always friendly and make the BEST gluten free pizza bases, which is really hard to come by. If you are gf and love pizza I def recommended eating here.

Terrible food and bad customer service. Gone with my family to have dinner late night, had a very bad experience,firstly we have to wait a while to place my order. we order medium rare mushroom steak and chicken parmigiana,its took them about 20 minutes to serve the food,mushroom steak medium rare was horrible cooked and even chicken parmigiana was not well cooked,i was just wondering if they have a qualified chef.i really couldn't recommend them to anyone and that is a damn shame

Beutiful !!. First time at topelz and i was very impressed the food was amazing and the service was delightful.

Mulatta was closed. Nothing was on Mulattas website or here or elsewhere about it being closed on a Monday so we settled for Topelz instead. Where as Mulatta next door is a more refined restaurant this is a more general purpose place.<br/>Its food was what is was for this sort of place and worked out fine, the Chicken Parma was one of the larger I have seen outside of Mrs Parma and came with an equally large salad, while my Pepperoni pizza was more than large enough and alright but not any different to Papalinos down the road and The Old Pepper back up Chapel St would be better for a general purpose place imo.<br/>Didn't have any of the problems some people have raised except getting waite staffs attention for extra water to deal with the especially spicy Peperoni pizza.

NOT HAPPY. Pizza was cold and late. I called up to ask some questions and the bloke on the other end was as rude as he could have been. Argued with me about when the order was placed and refused to send out a hot pizza. I'll not be going back.

We ordered a pizza tonight, a topelz special, with NO anchovies. We got delivered a topelz special with Anchovies, we called to ask for another pizza as it wasn't what we ordered. The man on the phone said he would charge us the full amount even tho we called as soon as we got it delivered & it wasn't what we ordered. Bad form & Bad service. Vege Pizza & Strawberry Pancakes. Oh... my... mmm! The pizza bases are cooked to absolute perfection, the toppings are fresh with ability to taste each individual flavour, not too much cheese just slightly browned, oh my goshhhhh almost time for another hit, mouth watering! Side of Avocado salad. And the strawberry pancakes with the little tub of ice cream what a sweet little unexpected delight... All for take away at 12:40am :))

Hmm,. Had dinner here with my Misses a couple of nights ago, ordered a mushroom steak which was terribly cooked. The staff we're quite rude and talked down on me. I had to wait a while just to place my order, overall was ok but definitely not recommended.

A Change for the better. We had a booking for 14 people for dinner. The staff were exceptional, the steak and mushroom sauce magnificent.<br/>I noticed that the Pissa's are back to normal since the replacement of the Pissa maker made by the new manger.<br/> Very nice atmosphere, and the new team is fantastic.<br/><br/>Definitely recommend to family and friends.

To Topelz we go .. again! :). I have now eaten here almost weekly since late last year and this restaurant has never failed to be anything less than exceptional. I go out to eat often and am very fussy when it comes to great food and service but i can honestly say Topelz is among the best i've been too. The chicken avocado and Greek salads are amazing as well as the main dishes - specifically the pasta, steak and pizza. It was also fantastic to see the catering to the gluten free population in their pizza bases. The service was also fantastic, the waitresses and management were very friendly and helpful and the food is great value for money! I highly recommend a night out for dinner with friends or if you prefer a more intimate setting or even just a coffee at Topelz!. My only regret was not knowing about it sooner! Thank-you so much for great food and service.

Perfect Pizza. I as well some close friends have been visiting Topelz since 2009. The first time I tried their pizza i remember thinking wow this is tasty. We've bee regularly going there every now and then and nothing has changed, the pizza is still great. The staff are really friendly, I recommend trying the pizza out because it is by far the best in the area. My personal favorite is the Topelz special (minus the anchovies)

WORST IN MELBOURNE!!!. Do not waste your time with this restaurant. The service and food are below standards. There are many pizza restaurants around the area and all except this one are above board. <br/>There menu states they were 4 times Award winning chef in melbourne?? What happened?

Worth your money!. As a first timer at Topelz restuarant with a few of my friends we all agreed that we should attend weekly for the service was pleasent and the food was lovely and the price was really economical. I enjoyed having a Veal Schnitzel for it was tender and well cooked (not dry like any other places). We all shared a large gourmet Picante` pizza which was very tastey, well cooked, very quick and had some unusual but very delicious ingredients to it. My other 2 friends ordered different types of pasta which they reviewed to be very fresh, rich in flavour and on time just like everything else. I highly reccomed Topelz restaurant for it is great for an outing with friends or even just for a quiet lovely meal.

What happened to Topelz?. We are locals and have been buying pizza at Topelz for twenty years and it used to be the best pizza in Melbourne bar none. What happened? The pizzas are flat and tasteless, the mozarella is low quality and wasn't cooked through, not creamy and stringy but dry and lumpy.<br/><br/>The vegetarian used to be full of flavour, tangy with lots of quality ingredients. Now it's more like cardboard to be honest. Very disappointing for a Chapel Street institution to be turning out such rubbish.

Len. Very bad customer service! Driver got lost, pepperoni pizza was lukewarm and quite dry and garlic bread roll looked like someone had sat on it. Called to make a complaint and the person on the other end was rude, argumentative and not very helpful, was not looking for a free pizza just wanted to let them know. <br/>Don't bother, wouldn't feed it to my dog

Food review. Me and my family was there last night had the pleasure of meeting the Chef which he selected a pasta (calabrese) for my partner we also ordered a Margharita pizza for the kids the base was just perfect and tortellini cabonara pasta fresh and tender cooked right and mushroom steak medium rare spot on! overall it was a great food experience that me and my partner have not had for a long time,very friendly staff,great service i enjoyed it so much that ive booked a Birthday dinner there.

We have visited Topelz Restaurant In Chapel street Windsor on the 14/12/2010 we had ordered Mushroom Steaks and four pizza traditional and one Tandori Gourmet Pizza, we were surprised to find out that also they had a Gluten Free pizza which my daughter is allergic to normal flour, the food were delicious , the Pizza are not comparable to any other pizza, with thickness just right the test is A1 the service was A1 very friendly operator, as visitor from South Africa and visited many Restaurant in Melbourne and Sydney Topelz is one the I recommend to all who love thin base Pizza with quality Toppings. Topelz well done and you will be on my list every time I visit Melbourne. Thank You

We were taken here by friends of ours and ordered the Greek salad, Calabrese pasta, Topelz special traditional pizza and PPP gourmet pizza. It was heaps of food for four persons and the experience was made all the more enjoyable by the exceedingly accommodating and friendly waitstaff. The meals were well-prepared and great value for money - bill came to just $68 inclusive of corkage for the four of us. Stick to the traditional pizzas however as you'll find better gourmet pizzas elsewhere. Overall, Topelz is easily more reliable than the average Italian restaurant you might find on Lygon St. Better still, they're possibly one of the few that offer decent tucker in the wee hours of the morning, being open till 4 am over weekends.

Topelz delivery. Ordered 4 large pizzas to be delivered by 7:30, arrived 15 minutes late, despite being just down the street. Pizzas would probably have been o.k if fresh, but had `steamed' in the delivery bag. Ended up with a floppy, soggy mess that were impossible to eat without a spoon. Not happy

Was the best pizza I've had in a long time! The base was so fluffy & crispy. We had the P.P.P & Marinara! Service was great, very attentive. Thinking of coming back for lunch before we go back to Adelaide, it was that good.
