Can't believe I'm reviewing a chain burger place. Look, I try to support local independent eateries wherever possible, although "support" isn't the right word as I just generally prefer their food, service and approach over any kind of chain . Grill'd Windsor, however, has eclipsed any local independent burger joint. They are consistently perfectly cooked with really fresh, really good quality ingredients. It pains me to say it, but if I want a great great burger in Windsor/Prahan, this is where I go.

Someone once told me that the Grilld burger chain is better than some standalone burger joints and I agree! In conjunction with the Meatless Monday movement, I had the vege party garden green burger. It’s 2 for 1 for this whole month of September (Mondays only).
The burger bun itself was yummy and slathered with some ketchup. Love that it was toasted and had some crunch (don’t you hate soft and cold burger buns?). Vege patty was so good! As a full time meat lover, I have to admit that I didn’t miss meat one bit. We wanted to try the beyond burger but that wasn’t available. The staff in charge gave me a free fries voucher as an apology (apology accepted!).
You can love something but still find some room for improvement. Perhaps a stronger cheese would elevate the dish even more. It was a messy meal for me, but very satisfying especially at the offer price of $8. Will be back!
Grill’d is one of the only franchises that have vegan options making it my go to place when I’m out and about. There new vegan cheeseburger has become my favourite thing on the menu.
The service at this particular Grill’d is a bit slow compared to other ones I have been to, but nothing too bad.
This place has awesome staff! They’re really friendly and the service is quick. The food is filling and fresh. Located on the busy chapel street, it sure is one of the best eats!
As always the customer service here was great, the host is so welcoming and creates a really nice atmosphere. I got the crispy bacon and cheese burger and really enjoyed it, probably the best Grill'd I've ever had!
Got the field of dreams burger and the mustard and pickled with mushroom instead of beef. Both were nice and had good flavours but were a little soggy, guessing due to the mushroom
The staff and vibe at windsor grill'd help make this resturant a great place to dine,mind you i havent had a bad experience here to date.
One of the best sites out of the franchise.

It has been a long time since I last visited Grill'd. I used to be a big fan of Grill'd and consider them to be the pioneer of the ever so trendy sweet chilli mayo, and herb chips. Unfortunately my sweet sweet memories of Grill'd were tarnished by the consistent fallout of what I experienced after eating Grill'd burgers every time - the dreaded shredded mouth. I remember Grill'd's toasted panini buns used to cut up the inside of my mouth so badly that I had to stop eating Grill'd. Since then, many new burger shops opened up using soft buns that were more mouth-friendly.
I recently returned to Grill'd to support my friend who was part of the Polished Man campaign. I opted for a Summer Sunset beef burger with a low carb bun.
Although the low carb bun was soft and perfect for my fear of mouth-cutting bread - do not be fooled! The low carb bun may be low in carbs/sugar but it is higher in fat than the standard bun!
I forgot how much more healthy and fresh (and not greasy!) the burgers tasted at Grill'd and was impressed with how not guilty I felt after eating the burger. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, which didn't taste or look processed at all. I'm also supporting charities, right??? Eating burgers for a good cause? - now that's something I can get behind!

I have been home a lot as I have a new baby and a 4 year old so going out for dinners and lunches is just too damn hard.

I have had now pretty much every chicken burger - lean breast, my fave is the zen hen with extra satay sauce. This is so so good.
All beef burgers have been delicious too and they're always cooked through which is how it should be. I don't get these places serving rare in the middle burgers - it's a no no for bacteria. These guys make each one perfect every time.
Now the zucchini chips are so good. I'm obsessed with them. The avocado ones are so yummy too as are the potato varieties.
The kids meals are actually really good. My 4 year old now likes eating beef so he likes the mini ones and the little wooden toy is good too!
Now if grilld are reading this please add more stores to UberEATS as it's a pain in the ass seeing that I'm 1km Away see my meal picked up then they drop off others first all the way past st Kilda! Get more ones on so everything arrives as it should - hot especially with chicken!!
Awesome place for a burger lover like me! Love the Angus ones with double cheese and if you want something extra add the onion relish. Have tried the pork belly ones but think the Angus is waaaaaaay better.
