So I can confidently say, I’ve almost tried every single on of bistro Morgan’s donuts plus their cinnamon scroll. Overall, the place is very good! Some really cool creations here. Doughnut texture is a little different to the generic yeasted variety (which is cool-I like unique), which I guess it to match their heavy fillings! Fillings are 100% the highlight of these donuts-generous and DECADENT! LOVE the Cookie Monster (cake batter filled) and the pot of gold-they’re my favourite. Some of the chocolate filled ones are a bit average for me, so just be mindful you might need to play a bit of trial and error to find the ones the variety you like. Reccomend for sure and I’ll certainly keep coming back!
I love these donuts and rave about them. I recently have tried them out and I willingly drive 35-40 mins from the west of Melbourne to get some when I crave them - these are so much better than Daniels donuts or krispy creme. I came here once at the end of the day and I bought some donuts, expected them to be not as fresh but they were so soft, fresh and had generous filling! Ever since then I’ve been hooked.
However the store is a bit messy... I don’t want to be critical because I understand it is a small store, it can just be unpleasing to the eye.
Always friendly staff! And good coffee by them.

KINDER BUENO cheesecake flavor donut was new for me. However, it taste more white chocolate than cheesecake.
Some of the best donuts I've ever had. The dough texture is soft, buttery, yet somehow fluffy and flakey? They are a good size- not too big that they make you feel sick. All the flavours are well thought out, are very well presented and are generously topped and/or filled.

I had their Cookie me Crazy and hubby had Gaytime Crunch. I think it’s slightly too sweet, but flavour is really yum though! For the amount of ingredients and creativity and delish Flavour, $5.5 is quite reasonable as well!

We had some Bistro Morgan catered dones at work today and I had two the colourful pretty one with rainbow sprinkles, Oreo bits and white chocolate on top and the glazed with Oreo crumb. Both were filled which isn’t my preference on a donut but nevertheless a sweet sensation. I’d definitely prefer to give my money to a local kid then the American donut behemoth Krispy Kreme

Today I had my first Bistro Morgan donut. I’ve been a visual admirer of Morgan’s donuts for years but for some reason or another being diets or fullness I’d never actually sampled until today. The first one, peanut butter and the chocolate factory, I have to say was quite a delight. There PB to donut ratio was possibly slightly too high but I enjoyed the flavour immensely.
The red velvet glamour diaries, whilst it appeared quite striking and was visually impressive with the syringe it was rather bland and had me wishing I’d chosen the gaytime crunch. At $5.50 these are like priced with donuts of similar calibre in the market but unlike many others you may find these are hand made and hand dipped (and by a minor no less, hats off to him). It might have been my flavour selection but for all their hype they didn’t blow my mind
can’t go past their new cinnamon rolls and the creme brulee donut - so worth the price 🤤 so much fluffier and tastier than doughnut time too!!

WALKED IN & I WAS BEAMING WITH HAPPINESS LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE!
This is every child's and adults dream come true, delicious and flavoursome donuts! The injectables are so much fun and adds that extra oomph to the donuts. There are plenty of variety to choose from with a rotating weekly menu.
They is a seating area both indoors and outdoors. Service is friendly and super patient as you take your time to make a decision. Trust me, you would want it all!

These donuts were presented beautiful, they are full of colour and most importantly they tasted AH- MAZINGLY (the dough was so soft)
Very nice doughnut flavours, cool looking as well! Just looking at them, you can already tell how soft the doughnuts will be. They have a weekly menu rotation which is pretty cool!
I recently popped in to Bistro Morgan to grab some takeaway donuts as a birthday treat for my son. The array of donuts on display was mouth watering, and it was such a tough decision. The New Yorker with passionfruit cheesecake filling was sublime and a real tangy treat. The Twix donut had a delicious syringe of nutella, and was a chocolate lovers dream. We also had one topped with brownie pieces which was also divine.
The quality of the donuts is outstanding, and they are beautifully decorated. The cafe itself is a small but bright space, with a few tables, and the service was friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stop by for a takeaway treat or two.
I just tried Bistro Morgan for the first time today. Unfortunately it’s only going to get 3 stars from me. I got the ‘veganlicious’ which was the only vegan option for this week. Week 1 and Week 2 have different options. There is one vegan option per week.
Donut was too sweet for me. Too sweet in a sugary way rather than a rich flavour sort of way. Icing lacked any flavour but sugar as well as the centre. After a few bites I hit the centre & the gooey chocolatey filling got me excited but that was shortly lived.
I never leave a sweet behind but this was not at all moreish.
This won’t put me off BM. I do look forward to trying other vegan options.

Stopped by bistro Morgan on a rainy day to get my donut fix. The moment we stepped in we were welcomed warmly and was introduced to a beautiful cabinet of donuts!

Honestly speaking, there is a small variety of donuts that they sell. But the creme brûlée was the stand out for me, the custard had real vanilla specs and the creaminess, thickness was just perfect. I wish that the brûlée on top would remain its crunchiness as it will add more texture into the whole donut, but undeniably there was smokiness. The dough of the donut was soft but still springy which I love! The pavlova one however was a bit of a disappointment. On the description it was labelled as a lemon flavoured donut but we received an injection jam in the form of a plum sauce? Idek. Despite that the dough was the same still soft and bouncy but the flavours were lacking. Yes there were textures from the bits and bobs of the pavlova. But this one didn’t really do the description justice for me.
Hands down the best doughnuts in Melbourne! The flavours are out of this world delicious and they are so fresh. I love how they always change up their flavours. Such a bloody good treat!

Bought 11 doughnuts from bistro Morgan for a family dinner. The amount of Nutella in my doughnut was such a winner. It was also a soft fluffy texture. I don’t think you can eat more than 1 though Cos it’s really quite filling! They don’t come cheap (it’s 6 for $30) but it’s worth trying. Two girls can share a doughnut actually! In terms of store service, I wish the lady manning the store told me that I was eligible for a free doughnut after buying 12 - I spotted the loyalty card and had to enquire about it
What can you say, they really are “seriously good doughnuts”. So fresh, quality ingredients and they are literally full of goodness! I tried the Cookie Monster which had Nutella inside and biscoff spread on top with a little white chocolate and it was incredible! My favourite though was the white chocolate kinder bueno doughnut! It was to die for! It had cheesecake filling which legit tasted like cheese cake and the toppings just tied it all together beautifully! Will definitely be back 💛
Decadent donuts with a nice touch, we have tried almost all the flavours and from the basic to the sandwich donut, they are all so yummy that makes you want more!

There's a lot of hype surrounding Bistro Morgan so I had reasonably high expectations. I tried the Vanilla Custard and the Cookie Monster (pictured)
Vanilla Custard overall was about a 5/10, the dough is fresh, soft and coated in sugar but unfortunately the custard filling really let this flavour down.
The Cookie Monster for me was a 7/10. The filling was nice but didn't remind me of cake batter. The white choc icing and extras on top were delicious.
There's a lot of other flavours I'll be coming back to try and will do another review then.. but at the moment I'm not blown away.

Love Bistro Morgan donuts - had them at a menu launch and they were delicious, so ordered them for my partner's 30th as part of my DIY donut wall. Everyone loved them! I love that they use white chocolate instead of traditional icing/frosting and the donuts themselves have a very unique flavour. Morgan and his team run a very tight ship and it is great to see a young business thrive :)
Been wanting to try Bistro Morgan for ages but never got around to it. But to my pleasant surprise, their doughnuts are now available at my local yo-chi.
Now, I’m a fan of simplicity - and these doughnuts are pretty full on. But I have to say, I did really like the one I had. Definitely on the pricey side, but eh. Treat yo’self.
Some of the best donuts i've had in Melbourne. Sampled the cookie butter and the bruno mars. Both were really nice and not too sweet/sickly. Only knock would have to be the price.

Really good donuts. In fact some of the best we’ve had. A great variety of interesting flavours; the current cookie butter special was incredible. The other donut we tasted was the Bruno mars and it was good but possibly too rich. Not only are the donuts extremely tasty but they look great too.
It’s worth checking Bistro Morgan out but be prepared these donuts aren’t cheap.
Fantastic donuts, some of the best I’ve ever had. Even better than Daniel’s Donuts, I think. Had the coconut lemon cheesecake donut and the ferrero rocher donut. They were both so delectable, and not sickly sweet that I couldn’t finish them. I’ll definitely be back!
Bistro Morgan will have you coming back for MOR AGAIN and again 😛. All jokes aside this place produces some ripper damn tasty doughnuts. A bit on the expensive side but you are getting a primo product. There are some really good flavours on offer and some of the doughnuts come with an injectable filing which just adds to the experience. The doughnuts had a great texture,soft, fresh and with the right amount of sweetness. Nice little place to indulge in a naughty treat. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Creative, arty donuts set in a great space! I love how you can enjoy a donut there or takeaway. Well sized for the price, and tasty. I’ve yet to try the drinks, on my next visit I’ll be doing that!
Tried the banana peanut butter one and it was delicious!! The dough was light and fresh. It seems that they bake every morning and then operate until sold out... Very much an “occasional” food but a wonderful $5.50 indulgence. Congratulations to the young lad who convinced his parents that he could do this!

My personal favorite was the triple chocolate donut! It was super chocolatey and super delicious!
The other one I tried was the cookie monster. Thought it was a bit too sweet.
I made an effort to get to this place on the weekend (after their appearance on the Shark Tank) and glad I did. The service was friendly and the donut is amazing. Would I be back again? Definitely! I do hope there will be more shops around CBD or eastern suburbs so I don’t have to travel too far for them.

After seeing him on the Shark Tank I really have to try his doughnuts! Still can't believe a teenager can achieve this much! So inspiring! My favourite flavour is the golden gay time one. So good! The chocolate one (Tim Tam?) is also really really good. Just find the jam one a bit too sweet. Really good setup at the shop as well very friendly service.
Bruno Mars was my favorite donut by far! All of them were good but didn't really like the cookie monster one (but don't really like that flavor anyway). Did wish the donut itself was a bit softer, felt a little dried out. Staff member was very nice and helpful! Would recommend checking out!
Great donuts by Morgan who by his age you can probably classify as a donut protege ! His donuts are always fresh as they sell out fast and extremely inventive ! They do get a bit sickening after you eat a few but I could seriously care less :D
Only about 6 varieties available at 8pm on a Saturday. I chose golden gaytime : nice, yeasty donut with good salted caramel syringe, but icing was a little too heavy.

Good place to grab a doughnut and milkshake, which is exactly what I did on a warm summer's day. Had their Gaytime Crunch syringe donut - yum! This was washed down with an ice cold cup of chocolate milkshake.
One of the best doughnut's I've had in a long time! Bistro Morgan has a fair few doughnut-creating competitors in it's position near Chapel street, but it sure outshines the rest of them! The pina coloda doughnut was my personal favourite, being a tad different, but the falvours worked so well :)

What can I say about Bistro Morgan.....The donut are out of this world! The consistency is perfect it's not overly doughy or sticky, the filling is always fresh and the exact amount so you get some with every bite! The flavours are amazing and change often. The owner is a talented hero!

Got the espresso martini limited edition donut. Donut was really yum, not too keen on the espresso syringe though so just ate it without. Really want to come back for a cookie dough sandwich!

Really friendly and lovely staff. We had the doughnut that was filled with caramel and covered in cornflakes and cinnamon sugar. Really soft and fluffy dough. Everything went really well together, so yummy! We also tried the Hershey’s flavour that was out as a tester which was really good too!
The donuts are not sweet, but the toppings are quite sweet. The design of the donuts are creative. They go well with coffee. But the coffee has the sour taste. I don’t like it.
Best customer service out and delicious donuts!! We got the peanut butter donut and the golden gaytime donut. The donuts were soft, fluffy and a good sized. Will be visiting again that’s for sure ☺️

Delicious doughnuts!
I tried the golden gaytime crunch and wagon wheel doughnuts. The wagon wheel was filled with a sweet jam filling which was lovely and topped with biscuit & little marshmallows. My favourite of the two though was the golden gaytime which came with a syringe full of caramel sauce - so good! The actual doughnuts were super fluffy and light and the staff serving them were lovely.
I guess any place that sells sweets is going to get a high rating. Im not so into donuts but these are pretty good. Try only eating half....
Magic, absolute magic. I haven't had one doughnut from here that I didn't LOVE and wish I could have eaten all over again. Highly recommend the salted caramel as a fave but you basically can't go wrong with Morgs!

Short version: Best donuts I've ever had. EVER.
Longer version: This kids knows his stuff. His brioche donuts are little cloud-like puffs of happiness. They are light and airy, with a beautiful soft texture that is not doughy or stodgy. Unlike most of the other donuts around Melbourne that are just churned out for maximum profit with minimum effort, you can taste the care and love that goes into each one of Morgan's creations. My first bite actually made me outraged with what others have been passing off as the real thing up till now, to the point where I vowed (possibly, somewhat hastily) to never eat any other donut ever again. Anyway, the flavours are both exciting and delicious, and they change each Sunday, so you don't feel bad for going back week after week (how else am I going to try all the flavours?!). The flavours of the week can be found on the website, but there are always two mystery flavours which you have to go in-store to discover. He also provides a loyalty card, which goes some way to justify buying multiple flavours at once. Overall, putting aside the fact that Morgan is only 16 and still goes to school full time as well as running his own shop, these donuts are incredibly impressive. If you are a fan of sweet treats and supporting local ventures, be sure to check this place out...you can thank me later.
Wow I am so impressed that a teenager started this place. I had a delicious donut for $5.50 from here and I had a great time inserting the syringe full of Nutella into the donut. Yummy! I had a MAJOR sugar crash afterwards though... that said I would eat more donuts from here in a heat beat. The decor is cute as but what do you do with the syringes after they're used? Are the recyclable? Yes they are cool but it seems like some environmental waste that could be reduced potentially
Such a great find! They have a selection of 12 or so unique, creative, yummy donuts (each $5.5-yes some come with syringes full of chocolate or caramel or even jam) and they also serve shakes. The cafe is cute, too. I highly recommend trying as many donuts as you can, but the Golden Gaytime is a must!!!
I was lucky enough to be invited as part of the Melbourne Foodie Hub to try some doughnuts from this famous Melbourne doughnut shop. I've had them from other cafes before that they supply to, but there's something much more special about getting them fresh from the store. These doughnuts are seriously delicious! Their flavours tend to change weekly but they're all good so don't worry. I tried the golden gay time (with a caramel sauce syringe), a Choc hazelnut doughnut, cookies and cream, Netflix n chill, flutter butter (peanut butter flavoured filling and a must try!!), and a ferrero Rocher flavour. They were all good, can't fault them. I also had a ferrero Rocher thickshake which tasted like Nutella and was seriously mind blowing. Loved it!
I was whinging to my friend that all the donuts I have had lately just don't hit the spot. I was recommended to try Bistro Morgon and was I happy YES! The donut is light and fluffy 'netflix and chill' Perfectly tempered white chocolate as a topping. The syringe with the additional topping is a perfect idea as you can pick how much you want to put on it!

"You just have to go there," said my co-worker with great exuberance, "he's only a teenager and is achieving more than we ever did." It was a sobering comment which did wonders for my self-esteem.
Full disclosure: I was going to go there anyway seeing as Melbourne Foodie Hub had a collaboration going on with Bistro Morgan. So I managed to get a 6-pack of their best doughnuts and a shake on the house. Thank you, Morgan!
And of course I devoured more than I normally would ... they were some cool donuts. I was on a sugar high all day. The donuts were a bit too sweet for my liking but my husband, who loves sweets more than I do, said that it was fine.
Although the fancier donuts looked great, I preferred the relatively simpler ones like the Golden Gaytime and caramel popcorn (part of the original donut series). I didn't end up using much of the sauce in the syringe as the donuts were quite sweet.
We tried the cookie dough shake and that was totally yummy. But probably shouldn't have had the shake and the donuts all at once because I felt sick (I never learn!).
So all in all, it was a good experience and Morgan and his team were super friendly. I would definitely come back again but probably try to stick to just one donut for my waistline.

I admit I've been living under a rock. I've always put Chapel St, and St Kilda in the"too hard" baskets. Too hard to: get there; find a park; get a booking etc. My daughter wanted to go to pancake parlour for an ice cream sundae, so resorted to Google and zomato and found here. It was delicious. She murdered her portion. And kudos to the creater - Morgan. Awesome foresight.

Amazing! Doughnuts have never tasted this good. A must try. Haven't had the ones with ice cream or the daffles but I'm sure they're as delicious as the doughnuts.
Came here today for afternoon tea with my sister. We got some coffees and shared the Special #2 - the Twice Baked Almond Special (Croissant Inspired). It was SO delicious. Morgan served us himself and was so lovely. The coffees came from next door but the process of ordering them and getting them brought over was seamless.
The Doughnut was so good I ordered two more to takeaway!

I came here due to my Sydney friend's recommendation. It takes my interest as the owner is a young entrepreneur: a 16yo boy.
I tried golden gay time and salted caramel donut. Overall I like Bistro Morgan's donuts as the texture is soft. The taste is also good.
Will come back to try the donut sandwich (donut with ice cream in the middle).
I also hope they will open a store in the city.
Cute little donut shop off High St in Windsor. They apparently change up their flavours weekly, but this time round I decided on the popular gaytime and cookies and cream donuts with the syringes that I've been seeing on instagram!
I love the golden gaytimes so I was excited to try this one. While the donut didn't taste like its ice cream counterpart, they did well to mirror the chocolate coating of gaytimes. Overall, I liked the salted caramel sauce and the donut itself was sprigy. But the whole donut was slightly too sweet for me. The cookies and cream donut was also a tad too sweet for me, but I liked this one slightly better than the gaytime. Can't go wrong with nutella drizzle after all!

Unlimited supply of doughnuts and shakes were presented to foodie individuals / groups on the night. The service ran smoothly for the number of people within the place, everyone was having a wonderful night and enjoying the doughnuts and shakes of choice.
As for doughnuts, scrumptious, delicious, awesome, we were in doghnut heaven... They were perfectly cooked and such lovely flavours presented. They are the best that we have tasted thus far. We def will be back for more....
Our favourite yet to decide, Forrero Roche, Red Velvet, Oreo Slam were definetly our top choices, though other flavours include: Golden Gaytime, Cookie Dough, M&M, Choc Brownie, Snickers and the list goes on... loving the idea of drizzle within syringe such fun indeed.
Extremely creative and talented, well done to you Morgan and your family in hosting a wonderful VIP night and keeping all happy. Will continue to rave about your doughnuts and recommend individuals who haven't tasted them to pop out.

I am a regular customer here, even though I don't live close to the shop. I would definitely recommend giving the shop a visit and see what great flavours are on offer!

Seriously hard to fault this place!! The shop is super cool with great decor and colour scheme and I loved the neon light on the back wall.
Everything on display looked insanely goos but I went with my favourite of cookies and cream, along with the matching shake.
Sooo good!! The balance of the dough and the icing was perfect so it wasnt overly sweet.
This place was also great value, much cheaper than I expected. Great place to try if you are in the area.
The bathrooms were not great but you deal with it foe the sweet treats
Travelled all the way from CBD just because im curious about their donuts but ended up ordering Daffles instead 🤣 The place is so nice to hang out with friends or just having a me time. I like the idea of small cafe the most because it makes you more private and not overly crowded~
Daffles (i ordered The Prince) is yummy! Matched with the tatter trots, portion was right and it wont make you too full. As for the donuts, the inject idea is unique but unfortunately it's too sweet for me :') Overall it's all good and i'd be gladly come back for another daffles~

These are the kind of donuts that blend traditional cinnamon donuts with the trend of overloaded toppings - with the perfect level of indulgence! I could eat loads of them!! New flavours every week, so keep an eye on the online menu. From salted caramel pretzel, snickers, lemon brûlée, rocky road, crunchie bar... plus many of them come with a lethal (to your blood sugar levels) syringe of Nutella or salted caramel!!
Did the appetite for donuts just exploded in Melbourne? The competition is fierce, with one trying to out do the other. Yet this young guy, Morgan, stays genuine to what a donut should be - not too overtly huge, over glazed, super sugared nor pretentious. I do love the simplicity and right sizing of the donuts; needless to say also the various flavours and yummy-ness factor. This place was a delight to run into.
Honestly our favourite doughnuts! Always love paying them a visit and seeing what crazy flavours they have for offer. Now with a permanent shop we love knowing we can always get a good quality doughnut! Our favourite flavours include oreo, fruit loops, golden gaytime and snickers!
Donut, or work of art? I can’t decide where Bistro Morgan‘s scrumptious creations fit. You know those extreme donuts that have been popping up in Melbourne’s trendiest cafes? They’re covered in marshmallows, Oreo Cookies, and Fruit Loops with salted caramel-loaded syringes hanging out of the top, ready to inject you with a serious sugar hit.
A great start up by a driven young man sees the donut lovers of Melbourne enjoying a decadent and filling array of sugar-coma inducing options.
A simple and selective range and clean fit out allows the consumer to really take in all the brilliance delivered in each option.
The Oreo cream egg looked Devine and tasted even better! Of serious mention is the lack of dryness that is unfortunately a common feature of many super donuts all over town. Well done Morgan, you've set a high benchmark. I'll be back for more.
I've been on the hunt for the best donuts in Melbourne and decided to give Bistro Morgan's a try. I was underwhelmed when I walked in as the shelves were almost empty, it was only 6pm. Decided to grab a few of the flavours left and try anyway. I picked the white chocolate raspberry, hot chocolate flavour and mars bar. Not a fan of the syringe thing but it was fun for the kids. These donuts are the best I've had ever! Light, fluffy and great flavour! Only negative is that they are expensive and small. I wish I never tried them because now I keep thinking about them.
DO: Any of the delicious donuts. Flavours change all the time, you seriously can't leave the shop without at least one taking your fancy. Peanut and Oreo was good.
DON'T: Like to be in Windsor? (Seriously you have issues) ... then go to the CBD and try these bad boys at Royal Stacks.
TIP: Always watch out for parking inspectors. Gosh I hate them so much when parking around here.

Cracking Doughnuts, amazing Shakes and a humble young man going places. Morgan is the "Prince" of Doughnuts in Melbourne but it won't be long until he takes over the world.
His entire family are lovely people and my visit was one of the most pleasant and memorable I've had to any venue in a long time.

Its where Scroll'd was, near Lucky Coq. . Donuts and shakes were on the menu tonight at the launch.

Working so close in Prahran, I had to check out this place. Donut time is close by and I have been underwhelmed by their products. Bistro Morgan's donuts in comparison are nice and soft and full of flavour. It's more-ish and you might only want one, but it was pretty tempting to grab more 😊

I had the peanut butter and jelly with pop corn donut... Was delicious 😋 I'm a peanut butter addict and the amount of peanut butter in this one totally made me happy 😻 I also had the nuttella,Oreo, marshmallow shake wich tasted great! Will definitely go back and try more flavor!!

The pop up store was definitely something I have been looking forward to ever since I saw it in insta. I must say that the pop up store was eye catching. I was glad we came here when it just opened as I saw the queue later on the day. I had the lamington dougnut and I agree it was seriously good. Meeting the young chap behind this was also an added bonus. Well done!
I was lucky enough to win a competition on Instagram which scored me a whole box of these delicious donuts! My favourites were the m&m donut with jam and white chocolate and raspberry donut! Delicious!
A visit to the bistro Morgan pop up shop will not disappoint! Beautifully hand crafted donuts with flavour combinations to die for! Visually appealing, but also taste delicious. Easily in the top donuts in Melbourne. Can't wait for the next pop up!
We love the donuts! Really rich flavor but not too sweet and oily. Finished them in a second! We will definitely go to the cafes selling his donuts.
By far some of the best doughnuts in Melbourne. They're the perfect size, are light in texture and have a delicious selection of flavours. I was lucky enough to win a box through an Instagram selection so got to try a number of flavours including lemon and poppy seed, fairy floss, ferro rocher, snickers and peanut butter and jelly. They were all very moreish but personally my favourite was probably the lemon and poppy seed.

The doughnuts are soft and fluffy, not oily at all. I liked that the glazes are made of chocolate. And the fillings are generous, there must have been a few tbsp of Nutella in the cinnamon one!!

Seriously good doughnuts. Those are the words that welcome you once you step in. If you have tried Bistro Morgan's famous syringed doughnuts at cafes around Melbourne, then this is your chance to get them served to you by the boy prodigy himself. You can pair your guilt-laden goods with a cup of joe from next door neighbour Ezy Pzy who has set up an espresso machine in the already tiny space or Ayomo juices that are somewhat standing lonely at the end of the counter. What do you expect? The doughnuts are the main attraction here. Granted, they weren't the best doughnuts I have ever had, but from the two that I tried today and those previously from cafes, I'm quite a fan of the balance of flavour in each doughnut and I love how I can control the sweetness and stickiness of the doughnuts with the syringe. Texture-wise, my partner didn't quite like how it had more chew, but it's definitely each to its own as he is a cake doughnut person and not a yeast doughnut person. Who said guys aren't picky eaters?

Crowned as Melbourne’s “Doughnut Prince”, Morgan Hipworth has always had his eye on the food industry, ever since the tender age of 7 years, when he started to cook 3-course dinners for his family. I was lucky enough to go to Bistro Morgan’s Pop Up Launch Event on behalf of The City Lane, and witnessed first-hand Morgan’s calm and professional attitude when confronted with a roomful of foodies and cameras.
Known for his delectable creations, Melbourne's doughnut prince Bistro Morgan will be launching his own pop up store in Windsor. . For one week only, Bistro Morgan will be showcasing exciting doughnut flavours such as the Golden Gaytime, Cherry Ripe, Ferrero Rocher and Fruit Loop. Not Morgan Hipworth though, boy genius behind Bistro Morgan. He’s making doughnuts, and running a doughnut wholesale business! His doughnuts are handmade, and hand-dipped, and supplied to a few cafes around town on the weekends (after he’s done his homework!)
