Review Mimolette - Windsor

Red Barker
Fantastic Coffee, Baguettes and Pastries - Their almond croissants and ham & cheese croissants are insanely good. Non-dairy milk options are solid here. Great juice & deli offerings also.

best cafe within a 5km radius!! staff are great, however I come here for the amazing baguettes. they are a little expensive, but i am more than happy to pay for the quality they deliver. good coffee to go with it.

Love the sandwiches - they’re a little on pricey size but amazing quality! Coffee is fairly consistent, and their plant based milk options are well done. Definitely try the pastries too, and my absolute fave on their menu is their ham and cheese croissant!

This place is Windsor's best kept secret. Let's not destroy its sanctity by attracting the mainstream. If you are a lover of amazing crafted coffee and authentic North Parisian baguettes, then look no further than Mimolette on Punt. Its owner Richard is one of the most passionate cafe owners I met, he has a warm heart and very personable to all his customers. His lovely partner Asha makes the baguettes behind the scenes and masterful in her work. Patrick is easy on the eyes and makes a mean coffee, super nice too. I won't say more. Take the plunge and try it for yourself. You may be surprised at the results. Don't tell your friends.

Stopped by for 5 mins, you can tell by the set up they care about their coffee and food. Fell in love with the place. Nice chat with the guy working there about the coffee that was brewed, beautiful food on display, cozy little nook. Love the place, will be back undoubtedly

This place is magic! Lovely french vibe and pain a chocolate! The coffee is supreme, uses some of the best roasted beans in melbs!

What a great chance discovery. Cute shopfront, friendly crew, limited range of decadent deli products (organic and chemical free meats, cheeses, pâté, butter, etc plus Proper crisps). Bought two great coffees, two delish baguettes with vegos catered for.

Some of the best coffee in Melbourne. I know that’s a big call but honestly this place is such a hidden gem. Beautiful croissants and pastries. Oh and they know how to make an exceptional oat cappuccino! 🥐 ☕️ ❤️

I popped in for a coffee, so that’s all I’m rating on.
I asked for a strong almond latte, the guy said their coffee was quite bitter so it would likely separate the almond milk... changed the order to a regular latte, and the milk still separated. I definitely appreciated his advice on this in any case as it would have spoiled the coffee it was strong.
Nevertheless, the coffee was nice, I just wish cafes in general would look into buying almond milk that doesn’t separate.

Very nice (and very little) place, great service. I originally went there to try the sandwich and i was not disappointed - very simple but fresh, tasty (and organic). The surprise to me was the coffee which was top notch gre
Yes, a little gem in Windsor, everything you would expect from a local café

Great creamy flat white, great sandwiches, brilliant service.

They don't punish you for an extra shot of coffee. Definitely a bonus in my books.

Not sure where that last hater went, but it definitely wasn't to the same place I was just at. Mimolette is fantastic. Understated with incredible service and insanely fresh and tasty food. The menu is short and simple, yet it still took a while to work out what to get. Each of the five baguettes looked amazing! I settled on the Parisian and took it back to the office. The ham was fresh, the cornichons little bursts of heaven and the baguette absolutely divine. The only negative about this place was that they had sold out of pastries by 12:30pm! This place is deceptively wonderful. Well worth a visit.

Great coffee, i was really please to see they have real French croissants. I tried their ham and cheese toastie (their own version of a Croque Monsieur) on spelt bread which tasted amazing. It was really busy and the music was nice and chill.

Great coffee and sandwiches where quite good. Friendly guy and normal prices? Not from this area. But it definitely did what it said it would do and was quick!

Its ok. Baguettes looked really good though I didn't grab one. Coffee was decent, though on the more expensive end of the coffee spectrum. Service was really friendly. But the place lacks atmosphere. getting some good beats with a decent volume and having a bit more graffiti around the place could help it develop a stronger identity.

Excellent baguettes, great coffee, nice small space, super nice service, great paint selection, great prices. Perfect quiet little spot to enjoy lunch. The baguette with prosciutto, chèvre and candied fig is addictively good.

Awesome place!. This little cafe is so cute! The coffee is smooth and perfect and the food is delicious, fresh, and very tasty. The service is excellent and the couple that own it are really cool and relaxed. Head down and check it out - you won't regret it! :)

United street art cafe. United cans street art cafe is one of my favourite places to visit in the prahran area without a doubt. I can't resist a good coffee and baguette on a saturday morning, with the convenience of picking up my art supplies at the same time! A really relaxed vibe and friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend it!

Graf + caff = win!. First went to this place on their opening night when the cafe was less of the focus to the cans & art.

Been back a few times and happy to say the coffee and food side of things has developed in a positive way.

So, great coffee, great food, and great vibes. Check it out!

Neat Little Nook. Living on the Punt Road end of Windsor, there weren't many coffee shops if you hadn't planned on making the journey to Chapel Street. Though when I found the Street Art Cafe I was very pleased to discover that was no longer true. This cool little coffee shop is run by a nice couple who are friendly and talkative. Their coffee is great and their baguettes are tasty, with an excellent choice of free range fillings. They also have a variety of wonderful French pastries (Richy, the barrister, is French!) including an amazing chocolate croissant, I'm drooling just thinking about it, and a delicately flavoured apricot Danish.

Located just on Punt Road, just off Union Street. If you get the chance, pop in and see what I'm talking about!

A small pop for your buck. I wouldn't say throwing $3.80 in the bin was exactly my experience because... well it was $4.30. On the upside however my coffee was fine creamy and strong for a single shot and care was taken - actually stirring a sugar through before pouring.
Physically it's a great 'little' shop w/ throw ups on the walls and spray can wall feature plus a nice little idea of selling shirts of the art you can see all around. trendy thick timber benches in the front window and 'french' service made it on whole better than most.
save up and try it out at least once on your way to work

p.s. its opposite the 7/11 servo on punt rd - windsor

Sometimes I walk around ... To try coffee... And I just happened to walk by this place United cans... Happened to see a coffee machine ...
And thought , ok .. Let's try if .
I would have had a better experience just throwing away 3.80 in the nearest bin.
