Decent little cafe, very hip clientele. Food options are standard cafe fare, plus a few more creative dishes. Eggs and soldiers are a standout (classic, done well), especially with Vegemite if you're that way inclined.

If you enjoy brooding in the corner with your iPad while being served delicious coffee with compliments, (not complimentary coffee, they have a business to run) then this is the place for you. Open conveniently during peak caffeine drinking hours.

We have been coming here since day dot. The best coffee, amazing, simple, fresh food made with passion. The staff are a fantastic mix of whacky AF and attentive and profesh! Good tunes and sunny courtyard!

Super friendly guys and girls with perfectly soft boiled eggs. Gave us a free muffin once and now they have my business forever!

Great little tucked away gem with a lovely courtyard you wouldn't even realise was there! Love the trio brekky board - so many things going on at once. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Drinks are really well executed - great baristas!

Best ham and cheese toastie, very good sourdough bread! Coffee is also good. But waiting time is normally a little long, don't mind when I'm not busy but still prefer not to wait too long for my food 👧🏼

Dishes: <br/>- smoked chicken and avocado with bagel (5&dime bagel): the bagel was way too hard to eat. Feels like gonna break my tooth if keep eating the bagel. Totally cant eat or i better say i cant cut them it was either too hard to cut or the knife wasnt sharp/good enuf. The chicken was nice tho, good seasoning and combination with avo.<br/>- soldiers on eggs: i came all the way to windsor is bcause i wanted to try this dish. However, i thought the eggs will be the 65 degree eggs, but it was like soft boiled egg to hard boiled egg. The white completely hard boiled and yolk half runny. Also, that would be yummy if the bread is brioche.<br/><br/>Service: friendly customer service, but waiting 30mins and so for the dishes to be served.<br/><br/>Drinks: coffee 7/10, OJ 5/10 the oj taste bit of ginger or something bitter. Perhaps the squeeze orange with the skin.

Soilder on is an awesome little cafe in windsor. The coffee is always great and all the staff are really welcoming, friendly and talkative. I really like how the shop is fitted out too with all the artwork on the walls. Definitely worth a visit.

The absolute best smashed avo I've had in Melbourne! And what a surprise it was! I live across the road and have had coffee from Soldier on but never stayed for breakfast. Honestly, far superior to all the "trendy" Cafes you have to wait to get a table at. Amazing coffee, super friendly and sweet staff and seriously awesome food. Good single origin coffee and enjoy the smahed avocado and salmon with a poached egg. If there was wifi here I would use it as an office! Turns into a wine bar in the evening

Realitivly new to Prahran, This cafe is already hit the top of my favourites in melbourne. The coffee is spot on. The atmosphere to warm and open. Great for a take away or to sit in and watch the world go by. The staff and service are what bring it together. Friendly, genuinely welcoming it makes you feel like your at home.<br/>The window pastries go perfectly with the coffee line up. <br/>And the open rear court yard is perfect in the spring sun.<br/>If your in the area and considering a coffee then you certainly won't be disappointed if try this gem out.

Soldier On is a cafe in Windsor showcasing some of Melbournes best coffee roasters. Their house white blend is ‘Penny Box’ by Artful Dodger, house black Dark Horse by 5 Senses, and rotate their single origins and filters every couple of days from the likes of Industry Beans, Proud Mary, Monk etc.
