We had a road trip from Sydney to VIC and just random for Thai food. I order papaya salad , pork belly stirfry and fish cakes all of them got an authentic THAI tasted(I am Thai I can proved that). Good price and good services.😊

Seriously, just ordered fried rice and steamed dim Sims or dumplings, or whatever you want to call them.oitside of steamed dim dims where hot but somehow the filling was stone cold bordering on frozen.I did ring restaurant and they asked me to return, but seeing as this was my third bad experience here I just told them I'll never be back. And for the fried rice! Well that was warm atleast but seriously lacking in flavour. ,2 things obvious here are that there are 2 way better Thai restaurants in this town and the people who give this place a positive review are deluded on real Thai cuisine

Nice, clean place; plenty of seating, staff very friendly. Good selection of food and very tasty. It's a BYO and no cover charge, which was a pleasant surprise, as most places charge and with a group can be an expensive round! Will definately dine there again!

Was going back to sydney after a road trip from Melbourne and happened to pop in here.It was post lunch and almost closing time so went in without much expectation. Must admit the food here was just divine! Everything that we felt like ordering was made to perfection and was delicious. The staff was so welcoming, kind and always wore a big smile while serving. Outstanding experience over all!

This place has excellent fresh Thai food. We ordered the fried rice and steamed veg which were both delicious. The COVID safety was fantastic and spacious seating between diners. 💯 recommend for country Vic Thai. Also lovely staff.

You won't leave hungry. Decent sized meals that were quite good and reasonably price. Decor is quite dated as are the utensils, but the food was ok.

Have only been here once and ordered 2 meals. Reasonable price for the food. The satay chicken was good. The service was pleasant and pretty quick for take away cooked fresh. The pork with oyster sauce was super delicious, really good flavour and meat. Dining area looks average. Ok for take away.

I can't give the atmosphere 5 stars, but the food is definitely 5 stars. Service can be a little slow, but those in the know keep coming back here for a fabulous "cheap and cheerful" genuine Thai meal.
As others have said, it is a BYO Thai cafe (with no BYO charge), and this has made it a regular for us, and many others we regularly see coming back.
Stand-out dishes are the Tom Yum, Duck curry, and spicy pineapple rice. While it is not a classy place to dress up and take your hot date to, this is the best Thai cafe on the Border without question! Keep up the great work.

The food here is really good, the portion is very generous as well, very very nice waitresses and is very informative since im a foreigner. Would definitely visit again!

This is my favorite Thai place in Albury / Wodonga. The food is exceptional, even better than a lot of the food I had in Thailand. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal from here. The prices are also very reasonable, towards the lower end of local Thai places, and the staff are all lovely. When dining in it can sometimes get a bit noisy due to lack of sound absorbing materials anywhere (it's basically just four painted walls), but that's not a big issue for the type of place it is. If you are looking for fine dining in an amazing atmosphere, this probably isn't the place. But if you are just looking for high quality, fresh food, served quickly by excellent staff, at amazing prices, this ticks all the boxes.

Beautiful friendly service! Come here for lunch quite often! Lacks atmosphere but food comes out super fast and has plenty of flavour .

This is a fairly new Restaurant for Wodonga and is situated in the Southside Complex just off the main roundabout in the centre of Wodonga heading into Beechworth road from the city centre as you head towards Beechworth. Right next door is a bottle shop which is great as this place has a BYO licence so just pop in next door select your drink and head into the Restaurant for some really great Thai food.

When we went into this Restaurant we were warmly greeted by the staff and had a choice of a large number of available tables available as the seating area is large and expansive.

We were provided with Menus and they also provided us with some green tea brought out in a nice white china pot with 2 small tea cups, a great personal touch. We made our selections and then sat and looked around to see how this place was running, lots of people coming in to pick up take away food so this place is certainly very popular and people were obviously choosing to collect their yummy Thai meal and take home to the family. The pricing of their meals is very reasonable and the lunch menu is really good as well. We had the Duck and Seafood and they were both really nice and tasty. All in all a great experience and we hope that this Restaurant continues to build on its success. I am sure plenty of people will come back to the smiling faces of the staff here at Phaboonchai. We will certainly be coming back here for more of the food and the wonderful charm and warmth of the staff here.
