It’s a lovely place with great food! You made my day! I love the food sooooooooo much!

We just finished the loveliest dining experience here in Albury. A small unassuming restaurant (reminded me of similar experiences in France) with delicious food and lovely wines all freshly opened and served with great panache by probably the owner of the restaurant I realised after. It was wonderful to eat in a restaurant where there is great pride in the food and wine on offer. Very reasonable prices too. We’d had a long journey so didn’t stay for desert … a decision I’m regretting already. Will have to come back!

I overnighted in Albury on my way from Syd-Melb, booking ahead for dinner at Bistro Selle. The young owner was passionate about his wine & food and, despite having a full house, made time to explain the choices, offer tastings and talk a little about where ingredients were sourced. The experience was a highlight of my time down south. I will be returning for the beef tartare, pasta and the gorgeous accompanying wines.

Pork Belly was sumptuous and velveteen, Stormy Bay Pinot Noir devine. Warm olives cosy. Awesome place to dine, I'd drive over the border for this.

If you are stopping in Albury; this is a must-go-to experience! Soft lighting, surrounded by floor to ceiling dark sheers and the warm glow of Australian, hand made joinery and tables create a warm and welcoming interior. The menu is simple yet exotic, Alana and Matthew will provide the guidance you need to make an informed selection. The wine list ticks all the boxes. The beef tartare is next level! The fish of the day a pleasure. What a gem of an establishment, it would fit perfectly into the fancy restaurant crowds of Sydney and Melbourne, comfortably feeling superior. Do yourself a favour and eat here!!

We've been to Bistro Selle a number of times since moving up to the border from Melbourne. In Melbourne we were spoiled for choice of many good restaurants but up here not so much. Every time we visit the food is excellent as is the service. We are unable to find a single thing to improve and the value is comparable to anything down south or anywhere else... thumbs up

Excellent food and great service. It's only a small menu but everything is amazing.👍

Quaint little restaurant. Service and staff were lovely. Menu is very limited, and you need a discerning palette. Meals were also on the expensive side. A main will set you back $37. If you're after a good-sized meal, this isn't the place for you.
