Review Steak Pit - Wodonga

Great food service and just outright great Our kids wanted a fine dinning experience so we took them. The kids wernt looked down at for being there but most of all were very accomodating for our sensory sensing minions! Pork belly - lamb rack and the Wagu Special were all to die for stand out Definetly being the Lamb rack and a bonus the kids tried so many new foods from beetroot moose to parsnip purée and so much more. The steaks at the Steak Pit was cooked incorrectly from what I ordered. I asked for a medium rare fillet and it arrived well done. I asked the waiter what he thought and he said well done and then took it back. Everybody at the table had theirs. Fifteen minutes later my steak arrived. Cutting into it it was med well to well done. The waiter apologised but. Y now I had been waiting over an hour and I said I will cover it with the sauce. For a special steak restaurant it was a very poor result!

Went for tea on a Saturday night. Had to book ahead as they were booked solid. We had two kids (17 and 10) with us. The service staff were awesome. You are able to go to the pit where they cook the steaks and talk direct to the chef. The chef was extremely professional and accommodating. He was great talking to and explaing things to our youngest. We ordered steaks and Bolognese. The steaks were cooked perfect and the Bolognese was awesome. The prices are extremely reasonable. It is a very nice fine dining restaurant but family friendly at The same time. We all had main meals, a couple of drinks each plus we all had starters. We also had a extra side of chips and vegetables and the total cost was under $150 for the 4 of us. We left very satisfied and will definitely come back for another go. If your looking for a great night out in a nice relaxed restaurant go give them a go. THANKS!!

Haven't been here for some time. Very pleasantly surprised, perfect as we remembered. Great steak and service. Our waiter was really helpful with the wine list.

We had dinner at the Steakpit last night and were so impressed with the size and value of the meals we ordered. The meals were so tasty and our steaks so tender. Melt in your mouth delicious.

Hands down the best steak my partner & I have had in years!! Lovely service with a smile from our waitress & waiter, always so helpful and really made our night. Will definitely be back!

Have not been for many years, so thought I would re-visit. First impressions were great as it was a beautiful environment. Nice comfy chairs as well. Wait staff were good and also helpful. Very dissapointed with our meals, they looked good but were almost tasteless!! Red wine jou was like water and to topit off over priced.

Excellent all round. Just the most amazing and perfectly cooked steaks, friendly customer service from all the staff. Special thanks to Claudia for always being so nice and providing high class hospitality.
