Review Lee Corner Restaurant - Wodonga

Honey Chicken ($24.50) Curry Beef ($24.50) Large Fried Rice ($15.50) Food came out very quick. Service was quick and very friendly. Dishes are single serve and were good. Was able to take our leftovers home after. Large rice is enough for 2 adults and is recommended. Quite expensive for Chinese food overall.

I'm actually impressed. 🤯 The char hor fun had reasonable wok hei. Textures were good, flavours were good, batter wasn't overly thick. Fair bit pricier than in the capital, but what do you expect?

Wasn't thrilled, but might be willing to give it another go. It's always a concern when a Chinese restaurant has the tables set with knives and forks instead of chopsticks. That really should have clued me to the fact that this was going to be very Australian. I got the sizzling beef with Cantonese sauce and a side of rice. The sizzling plate came out separately, so that I had to assemble at the table, which is definitely a first. The meat was fine, well tenderised, and cooked well. The sauce was really very, very sweet. The primary flavour I got was pineapple juice. Not thrilled, but okay, maybe just the way they make it here. Veggies are crisp and yummy. The rice was dry, like it had been left in a bain marie too long. The waitress was good about bringing me out a fresher serving though, so points for that. The Chinese tea I ordered came with a tea bag, rather than loose leaf, which is probably just nitpicky of me, but... C'mon. What really annoyed me was the staff starting to vacuum with half an hour left till close. I can excuse clearing all my plates rapidly and resetting the restaurant, but I was still drinking my tea. In the end, I left before finishing it, as it was clear I wasn't wanted anymore. $25.50 for the meal $5 each for the rice and tea. A bit pricier than I would expect for the area, especially when the quality is much less than you'd get in Sydney or Melbourne. However, they were generous portions, and I have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We love the food and service and are known by name. Lovely food and service to back it up best Chinese in Albury Wodonga and maybe Victoria

Absolutely loved it! Would go back. Rice could be cooked with more moisture though

Went there tonight for take away as I wanted to support a Chinese business during the current crisis. I was halfway in the door when I saw the sign that said CARD PAYMENTS $25 MINIMUM! Since my normal order is around $12.00. I consider this a rip off and imediately left. Never again.

The only suggestion would be to update there menu pricing as the one you look at is out of date
