Review Zambrero - Wodonga

An open day by the owners.. As a former Boarder from the 70's. They have done Mount Carmel Presentation Convent justice. A great place to stay for a while.

Unfortunately I'll never eat from Zambrero Wodonga again. Have been a regular customer and never previously had complaint with their food. Until tonight. Got a burrito bowl, my usual favourite. However, I found added protein that I didn't order, in the form of a dead bug, buried in the rice/meat section. The sight of it made my stomach turn and now I'm seriously questioning their hygiene standards. I will never ever eat here again. Feel so sick right now.

Second time I have been to the wodonga store and had a staff member that has absolutely no idea what they Re doing. Doesn't know how to charge for ordered items doesn't listen to your order so you are repeating yourself over and over again. And insanely slow. The other team member served 3 or four people from start to finish with multiple things in each order in the time in took her to make our two bowls. Food was good. Just incredibly slow.

Lovely customer service from a well presented young lady...l had a nachos bowl for my first time here. The guac was so stringy and there was a bitter taste to something in the dish l chose...l won't order that again. Shall try a burrito or burrito bowl next.

Use to love zamberro in Wodonga use to have a great team. Lately not good. I got a soft taco today couldn't even eat it had to bin it. This has happened a few times lately, thought they were just having a bad day but I can't afford to throw food out 3 times in a row. Not as good as it use to be.

This place has definitely slipped. The Wodonga store used to be great, now it's a poor experience all round. I haven't been back for a few months after there was a HUGE cockroach roaming the floors (in the customer area, not the kitchen side but still...); but now the staff are disinterested and slow, items are missing from the menu (which made the food bay look very empty and un-organised) and the store looks terrible. Tables just cast aside messily in front of the booths that you're not aloud to sit on. The whole experience screams lack of care. This is where you'd ask where is management but you get the impression it all stems from there. Just lazy across the board.

Loved the power beretto, the black rice is very healthy option and the fillings are all authentic Mexican ingredients, subway style service makes for a quick and effortless ordering, few dine in tables available inside and alfresco. Will be back

Had a burrito bowl and it was super stingy with a small portion size of just rice, beans and chicken. Lots of salad which is good but yeah definitely not worth the $$. Wouldn’t try again, save your $$ elsewhere or get a burrito instead.

So I realised today it had been a couple of weeks since my last Zambys fix (I know it’s crazy. Can have it a few time’s a week) so I decided to take advantage of the new delivery! Best idea ever I might add. I got a double beef burrito and I love all the flavour that’s now packed into the beef! However I ordered chipotle sauce on it and I didn’t get any of that spicy goodness � but it’s cool. I don’t know what sauce you put on there instead but it was still delish. Thanks for being a thing so I don’t have to drive home from Albury just to end up with a soggy taco or burrito. �

Been there twice now, both times amazing. Delicious food and super friendly staff, that actually want to serve you. Now my new favourite place to eat out. Highly recommend.

Today was my first time eating here and the food was fresh and delicious, The customer service from Tristan and suk was amazing. Would highly recommend coming in and grabbing a feed.

Always very helpful staff and never had a bad experience and we have been eating from there since they opened. �

Hubby and I tried Zambrero's for the first time tonight will definitely be going back. Even tho it was close to closing the staff were happy to still service us. �

$9.95 for IQ Chikito! Delicious fresh and always feels me up! Love this place! Where else can you get a healthy take away for under $10?

Sonam who works at your Albury store has fantastic customer service and is passionate about his work, he has a high level to detail and should be rewarded.

Went in today lined up behind 16 ppl , you guys smashed through them didn't have to wait long at all great job, food was awesome as usual
