I had the pork belly dish and it was absolutely delicious!!!
Amazing service and a beautiful interior
The only problem I had was deciding what to pick off of the fantastic menu
My mum also raved about the coffee and she's usually quite Picky
Thankyou guys for the fantastic brekky xxx
Half strength soy mocha made to perfection .. great busy little cafe with great friendly staff ...
amazing food!! The house made lemonade and iced tea were brilliant and the service staff are some of the best I've seen. Two enthusiastic thumbs up
Had breakfast here recently and it was delicious!!
My partner repeatedly expressed that it was the best coffee he ever had as well.
If your not keen on running whites with your eggs (63 degree egg) be sure to ask for hard poached instead.
My fave breakfast. Great food, love the coffee, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Everything I've tried is delicious.
Great food and coffee...highly recommend
Best coffee, best food, best vibe, best service, best crew
Food is delicious. Staff are genuinely friendly. Coffee is fast and fresh. There is nothing to complain about!
Delicious food, beautiful interiors and love that you use Campos coffee!! So lucky to have you so close as my go to for great coffee
Despite being super busy yesterday, service was great and so were the coffees and giant protein ball - YUM!
Yum yum as always..great coffee, great brekky frittas and wonderful friendly service.
Popped in for a mid week lunch. My colleagues had the snotty and chips, both looked great and no complaints from the guys. I had the Bahn Mi salad with pork, it was delicious, fresh herbs, beautiful tender pork, very tasty. Being hyper critical, the salad was a little on the smaller side and no chilli in a Bahn mi??
My coffee was great. Been a few times before and defo hope to return.
Baja tacos were quite nice. Fish was cooked nicely and the mango chutney was made with real mango pieces.
Staff were friendly and attentive. They didn't even rush us even though it was after their closing time.
Yesterday was my first time had brunch at #Leeandme Wollongong. The cafe have nice atmosphere when you sit inside or outside . Weekend always busy especially during breakfast and lunch time. I tried two different ingredients of EGGS BENEDICT. First egg Benedict with Salmon cured with normal bread and second Egg Benedict with Mushroom and Croissant bread. I must said the EGG BENEDICT with Mushroom and Croissant is THE BEST. mushroom, warm French bread, perfect poached eggs melting into once in my mount. DELISH.
The Egg Benedict with Salmon Cured was Oke. Nothing special . Eggs poached was perfect too. In just didn’t like the taste bread, for me it’s too sour and you probably need to change to Croissant bread.
Two hot Cappuccino was loverly .
For sure I will back again there
Hubby and I were looking for a cafe to stop by and have brunch at. There was one cafe which was packed with people like no space for newcomers, so ended up is this nice cafe which was also pretty packed but not as much. Cute little vintage cafe I loved the ambiance inside and out. We sat out as it was a perfect weather and ordered chicken burger. It was good but nothing special. Coffee was okay too. Service wasn't so quick, waited like 20-25mins..I guess it was okay. Also, I think the upstairs of this cafe was a vintage shop or something? I had a glanced since that was also the way to the loo, I thought it's cute. By the way, their loo is so artistic! You gotta go check it out if you love art. LOL Yeah, everything counts in my sense. including toilets HAHA.
Having light lunch with hubby, i was ordered sweet potato fries and hubby was eggs your way (poached eggs on sourdough). Both was good. I heard they are under same management as His Boy Elroy.
Went here upon the recommendation of my brother. Vintage but trendy fit out? plenty of tables inside and out. A good range of pastries and donuts in the front cabinet - they looked amazing. We were here for lunch and it's a shame its not an all day menu as some of the breakfasts sounded awesome. I ordered he haloumi, zucchini and chickpea fritters. They came with serrano ham, spinach and onion - the flavour was nice, but it definately needed some kind of sauce, maybe sweet chilli or labneh or something. My mum was of the same opinion. I also felt the fritters were a bit mushy and not quite cooked enough. My sister got the brown rice, raisin and greens salad which she absolutely loved, nice vinaigrette taste to it. The iced lattes were also a hit. Service was a tad slow but the staff were all extremely nice.
Visited a cousin at Wollongong for a few days. She recommended Lee & Me.
Lee & me is a cosy little cafe with really friendly staff.
Food came quick and was delicious, will be visiting again when I come down again!
Such a cute little spot. I ordered the Mushies on Toast and it was full of flavour and really wholesome. The Super Smoothie was really yummy too! The food was superb, vibe was excellent and really clean and funky toilets. All around great experience.
Needed a place to stop by for lunch at Wollongong and decided to try Lee and Me as it was down the road.
My partner and I ordered:
- The Maverick with hand cut chips.
- Crispy Chicken Schnitzel Baguette with a side of sweet potato chips.
- Raspberry and Lemon soda
The food was really great. It was what I expected, on my end anyway. My partner liked his burger too. The only negative comment that can be made was the hand cut chips. It looked and tasted old and stale, not fresh as it should be. The sweet potato chips on the other hand were fantastic, had a nice crunch and I would recommend these over the hand cut chips anyday.
The raspberry and lemon soda was a unique experience, had never tasted anything like it. I definitely wouldn't have guessed it was raspberry and lemon. However it's not bad, would recommend if you are into trying new things.
Overall, apart from the chips, it was a really good experience. The staff were friendly and the place is perfect for a peaceful weekend lunch.
I had the breakfast house made beans and the prana sticky chai latte omg it was amazing!!!! Next time I come back to the gong I'll defs be coming here again for breakfast 👍🏾👍🏾😊
We're visiting from Melbourne for a wedding, and being typical Melbournians, we love our brunches and coffees, so after some serious Google research, we settled on Lee & Me for our morning-after brekky.
We got a table outside in the sun and were promptly served but a friendly young guy. The menu didn't disappoint. There were classic options - eggs benni, eggs on toast with a choice of sides, hotcakes, porridge etc - as well as some more interesting options like avocado and black corn with eggs, and chickpea and chorizo salad with eggs. The drinks menu was just as good, with Campos coffee and a variety of healthy juices, smoothies and shakes.
The food was fresh and delicious. The waitress told is most of the produce comes from the owner's farm just outside Wollongong, and it showed. The eggs were a highlight. I indulged in a 'super smoothie' with almond milk, apple, banana, honey, LSA and a few other things, and it was sensational. The coffee was also fantastic.
Service was fast and friendly and the food and drinks were top notch.
Highly recommend - even to fussy foodies!
It was a public holiday and as one of very few places open in town over the Xmas break, I guess they were bound to have excessive delays. It took over 40 mins for our food (half empty cafe by the time we ordered). My sister tells me that 40 mins is ok but I thought it was quite lengthy. When the food finally came out, it was hit and miss. My dukkah eggs were fabulous. The chicken burger was apparently good. The popcorn chicken salad was just average with really dry chicken and a salad that lacked zest and zing (supposed to be a Viet salad). Overall however, it was a nice meal and on a normal day where food would have probably come out relatively quickly, it would have been quite good. Coffee was ok (campos coffee).
HOOOLLLYYYYY SMACK! Be prepared to let yo’ hair out and feel classy AF.
If you’re ever in Gongtown, do yourself a favour and pop on down to Crown Street and get your nuts roasted and your ‘shrooms toasted. Service was great, coffee — godly. I suddenly felt the urge to strip down to my bare minimums and offer my body and soul to this lifegiving cup of life. It didn’t take long till a sexy breakfast man came with my baked eggs. The aesthetic was beautiful. I asked myself, “what is life?” and sliced open my eggs, the yolk oozed inside my terracotta-coloured bowl. The insides of my stomach churned with desire. I lifted up my fork and pressed the tomatoes, eggs and croutons against my lips. It was love. I cried. SOOO GOOOD. I grabbed my dish and whispered, “I am yours and you are mine”, licking the last tomato bits off my spoon. “Are you ready to pay your bill?” said the sexy breakfast man.
I looked at my empty bowl and sighed, "What have I become?"
GREAT FIND in Wollongong. Definitely will revisit.
I've eaten here many times over the last few years and the food and coffee is always excellent. I've tried most of the stuff on the menu. The only thing which brings the rating down is that sometimes the service can be slow, and you can get the feeling that the staff ignore you if you don't seem trendy enough! But it if you don't mind waiting and possibly feeling inadequate, the food & coffee (last time I went they were serving Campos), is delicious, and the staff are always polite to your face.
From the decor and menu, Lee & Me looks like it would be located in the hip Surry Hills area. But it's not. It's in Wollongong. And quite lucky for L and I that this modern cafe exists, as we had wandered around trying to find an appealing restaurant. My Filter Batch Brew ($5) had a very interesting name - Mama Cata Geisha. The waiter helpfully explained it's origin and cupping notes before placing a cute little info card on the table for me. Just as the card had described, there were notes of fruit, the cherry flavour was particularly noticeable. I had a sip of L's Prana sticky chai latte ($6). It was indeed sticky. Since I'm not a fan of chai, I couldn't really discern whether or not it was good. I am always eggs-cited about Eggs Benedict ($15). At Lee & Me, you get two poached eggs and gypsy ham doused in Hollandaise sauce with a slice of sourdough bread. The eggs were poached perfectly and the Hollandaise was oh so rich. L had the egg-cellent 63 Degree Egg ($15) with smashed avocado, fetta, pepitas & a single chilli on Sourdough. If you find yourself in Wollongong, you have to go to Lee and Me! Will I Return? Yes. If I ever visit Wollongong, Lee and Me will be my first stop for food! QOTD Have you been to Wollongong before? How was your visit? Loved my coffee. I quickly popped in near closing time.
The coffee was great, I wish I had more time to try more. Especially their cold drip !
Definitely comimg back next time I pass through the gong !
Satisfactory. This morning we visited Wollongong’s iconic cafe, Lee & me. After ordering their renowned Cappuccino, and Prana Sticky Chai latte we came to the conclusion that it wasn’t anything special. After paying $6 for a bland, watery and overall unsatisfactory cup of coffee, we do not recommend the Chai. On the contrary, the presentation and flavour of the beautiful cappuccino was delightful. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
COFFEE: 6/10
ATMOSPHERE: 8.5/10

Great breakfast, awesome oats with bananas. With the 1st floor terrace balcony you can watch the world go by.
Ok so the service isn't the best, you'll wait a little while and think the waiting staff have forgotten all about you in their quest for trendy hair and tats, BUT the food is good!! The best cafe meal I've had in Wollongong for a long time. They've really raised the bar for local cafes. Thank you lee & me!
I'm from Victoria and this, being my first cafe to try in Woolongong, was definitely worth the trip. The coffee was great. Service was extremely nice and friendly. Oh, and the banana and blueberry bread I had for breakfast was a lovely way to start the morning and will definitely keep me going until lunch!! Nice and filling and only $6.50 with sweet ricotta cream. Decor is also very nice and gives it an antique-like character. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lovely meal or even if you are in need of a coffee hit!
Best coffee in Wollongong hands down. Staff could do with being a little bit more attentive and friendly, walked in and out of the cafe without one member of staff acknowledging, greeting or saying goodbye. Being an owner of a busy cafe in Sydney, I know how important this is. Work on this guys and you've got it made...
Campos Coffee. The coffee is the best!
I will start with the positive the coffee was really good service was really good very relaxing atmosphere food tasted awesome negative are they forgot sertain things from the order ( didn't write the order down) gave out dirty utensils would deffenatly go back there again enjoyed eating there
Excellent Coffee + Friendly staff. I love my coffees at lee and me, they are super consistent.
Food is great too - always updating the menu with something to please everyone :)
Definately recommend
One of Wollongong's best. Always a favourite, the menu is small, but changes frequently. The soft shell crab with mango salad would have to be one of my favourites.
Apparently the muffins are popular, but I can't go past the Lindt Chocolate Cake or a Freckle Cookie!
Food and service can be inconsistent at times.
Rooms with overpriced clothing could probably be used as private dining rooms as the place fills up quickly.
Quite over priced for the portions and actual products. Only really good as a takeaway with slow service in a very communal place.
new breakfast additions include a new round of hotcakes with a rhubarb and cinnamon jam/compote/sauce, with a pistachio praline and sweet ricotta. It is quite something,
We had our breakfast at Lee and Me during our trip at Wollongong. The food was scrumptious, the coffee was great, and the customer service was also impeccable. We ordered a black garlic scramble served with an in-house made bagel, a super delicious salad with salmon and tumeric cauliflower. Will definitely come back next time we are back to Wollongong.
Went here for breakfast and was so pleasantly surprised, coffee and food were delicious!!
I had the eggs Benny...I've shared pics of the other meals (waffle & smashed avo)
MUST TRY the chilli oil, yes, I know, you're probably not into chilli with eggs but trust me, it is life changing. (you're welcome)
Service was good, staff are friendly. Food was quick and despite it being a little busy there was hardly a wait once we got a table. Judging by the seats out front, there can be a wait for tables, might be an idea to book ahead.
I actually can't wait to make my way through this menu.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Cute place to dine in. Looks like an old house. There were different areas you could be seated. We had the upstairs verandah where a nice breeze was blowing. The food was delicious and well priced. The Mushrooms 🍄 were the best I have ever tasted! Would definitely come here again. The menu covers everything.
Best avo toast I’ve had in a while.
The summer salad had it all: balanced flavors, crunch, and well seasoned- def recommend adding some poached eggs!
Long black- one of the best coffees I’ve had- I’ll leave it at that! Recommend this place +++.
What a great breakfast. Coffee, service, food and atmosphere 6 stars ;-) The Smash Burger was to die for. The best cheese burger I've ever had and the chips were delicious! I'll definitely be coming back more often.
Great food! Get the vegan cheesy...you can't go wrong!
Lovely spot for breakfast, the food and drinks were so very delicious. Friendly and fast service!
Best breakfast I had in the Illawarra. Had a wide range of options, couldn't decide what to choose but staff recommended me eggs Benedict which I highly recommend you trying. Food is high quality as well as their coffee, atmosphere was wonderful as well as the design of the cafe, very spacious and I really enjoyed communicating with their friendly staff. Highly recommend them to visit. It's better to make a reservation rather than walking in since it can get busy at certain times e.g 9-10am. But it proves they are a successful cafe
