Everytime I go here the food is amazing. Steaks are cooked to perfection and the flavours are rich and unlike most restaurants. It's probably the best duck dish I have had and their gravies are lush. So happy we have found this gem of a place

Don't go here. Our experience was terrible! We had a booking for 18:30. We had nothing but inattention from the staff. We somehow managed to order meals around 19:30. These mains c.$35-40 were finally delivered at 20:51. Pub food at best. Never again.

Holy Fxxxing God damn that is some good food!!! I have always ordered from this place buy I've never written a review. But tonight's the night, cos I just had a foodgasm over this steak pie, mash and mushy peas! Absolutely effing amazing 👏 😍 🙌 thank you!!!

This restaurant is practicing covid safe procedures to a high standard. I felt quite comfortable here in knowing that it was safe. The meals were of high standard as was the service. Thanks to all the staff.

Great food with friendly staff that were happy to answer all questions. Especially when all I wanted straight up was the cocktail menu. Its not the first time I have gone to Murphys and will not be the last. My fiancee is the fussiest steak critic . Hes was cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef staff and management

Thank you to Joy and the staff for making our wedding a fantastic night, food was perfect, staff were wonderful. I would recommend this place for any sort of party or gay wedding. Family & friends said best wedding ever.

Well where do I start,we had our wedding ceremony and a special breakfast the following morning here at murphys this weekend we cannot praise Joy and Chris enough as well as the staff. Everything was so perfect from the setting up of the function room it was beautiful,the room where the ceremony was held gorgeous the food delicious and unfaultable and the service outstanding. We eat at murphys a lot and have never had a negative comment to make about anytime we have dined here that is why no other place in the Illawarra would come close to host our special day. Thankyou Joy and Chris ,we will be back soon.

My partner and I love this place. Every time we drive past the place is pumping. The food is delicious and spot on with price. Staff are great. Can't fault the place really. Keep doing what you do don't change!

Murphys is my favorite restaurant. I have been here many times and brought all different friends & family who are always impressed. The food and service are fantastic. Can not recommend this place enough!

Firstly the service was good. husband and I were looking forward to Murphys bar and grill as we have been there plenty of times in the past and could not highly recommend it enough. they must of changed there chef's and quality of produce. I had a med rare rump with onion rings chips and a home made coleslaw. There was no love or flavours! Rump was chewy and nearly blue! Coleslaw was bland and the cabbage was dirty like the first cut of a half of cabbage that has been in your fridge uncovered for days and some mayo. It was not coleslaw! The onion rings tasted like old off onions! The chips (and I love my chips) were cheep straight cut and for a $40 plate they should have been 100% better. Its like they were from the charcoal chicken down from there. The butter sauce was disgusting. My husband had the chef's eye. Chewy, sweet potato mash with a sweet sauce. Nothing went together. Very disappointed � and $130 later we feel ripped off.

We have been to Murphy's Bar & Grill on quite a number of occasions, as recently as Friday Night to celebrate my Birthday. As always the service was great, the food fabulous as always & great ambience. Love this restaurant. Will definitely be back.
