Worst Chinese Restaurant I’ve ever been. We ordered Mongolian Beef, and Garlic Butter King Prawn with Fried Rice. They were all salty , Mongolian Beef was burnt, I had to tell them to re-make it, full taste bitter . Garlic Butter Kingprawn was also burnt, no juicy , no sauce at all. Fried Rice was salty , full smell of Soy sauce This is my last time here , paid $70 for damn bad meal.

I have been using Top choice for around 10 years now however. since the new owners took over the experience on numerous occasions has been nothing short of horrific. there are no means by which they can be contacted. The phone number displayed online has not worked for months and the mobile number also provided online is disconnected. when you actually drive there and order take away you seldom get what you ordered! Have they changed their name to Macdonalds?? The all junior staff appear to be completely disinterested and look like they would much rather be somewhere else. The previous owner who was excellent with both food and service would be disappointed to see the place in its current state.

I have eaten here twice now and both times have been extremely disappointed with my meal . I will give anything the benefit of doubt hence why I went back for the second time and it will definitely be the last . I ordered chicken Chow mein and a mixed entree, the chow mien sauce was grey in colour the only way I could explain the taste would be to say it tasted like dirty dishwater! I had a spring roll that wasn’t bad , the golden money bag tasted so terrible I actually had to spit it out into my napkin something I have never done before in a restaurant. I would have to say one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten..... in actually fact I couldn’t eat and didn’t.

Top choice is my favourite restaurant in town. Friendly service and incredible tasting food at a great price. The peanut satay will change your life!

Don’t usually leave reviews, however, the food here was amazing. I haven’t had good Chinese food in a long time but this was fantastic. I will definitely be back and it will certainly become a local favourite.

The prices on their menu online isn’t the same as what they would actually charge you once you go and pick up your food. Everything has gone up at least $3-5 more, and you don’t know until it’s too late. Ended up having to pay $50+ for a meal between two people and that is without any drinks. At least inform your customers over the phone or something rather than stitching them up.

$104 dollars for 2 basic meals, 2 cans of coke and 7 spring rolls lol. Avoid online menu as it is not a reflection of actual prices. The food was really average also. Rip off through and through.

Nice restaurant with a large indoor and outdoor seating areas. They make really delicious noodles (king prawn vermicelli noodles and their pad thai are amazing) Service was very good. One of my favourite restaurants in Wollongong.
