Review The Little Prince - Wollongong

Really uncomfortable with the ID check/scrutiny and taking of a photograph before I can walk in the door for a quick cocktail on a Saturday night.

This venue clearly has the cutest bartenders in wollongong, from the cheeky girls to the bearded blokes I am in heaven. Also the chefs are pretty aesthetically pleasing.

I don’t normally post reviews, the bar staff at The Prince were awesome! The security staff were chill and the place was pumping. Great place to go if you’re in Wollongong!

Shocking ... people working behind the bar cant even pour a glass of water not to make a cocktail

I absolutely love coming here! A beautiful place to meet with a friend or two. The pizza is pretty good and decently priced. Not a huge drink selection but enough of one to try something new. Staff are friendly and are always on top of service when I’m there. Haven’t found anything to fault really.

Not a great atmosphere, I cant credit this bar for much except it seems popular. Maybe the regular patrons aren't aware that there are far better places around in Wollongong, dont get me wrong its not a bad place but at 15 bucks during happy hour for a Jug that only fills 2 schooners what's the point guys? I sat there for enough time to finish my jug then immediately went on the hunt for a better establishment in the area. Pricey. Not very comfortable with seating arrangements, not my idea of a good selection of music being played on the system, not necessarily even my idea of comfortable with the people I was surrounded by. All of these are my own opinions and im sure if you're into similar places or a similar atmosphere to me you won't spend much time here either. But I cant bring myself to give them a positive rating as I felt bored, paid too much for my beer and dont think the decor even suited the surrounds.

An awesome place to chill out on a quiet sunny afternoon. Great service, friendly staff and delicious tapas style meals accompanied by a nice shandy with their on tap pale ale. The decor is perfect and it has a very cool '50s / '60s feel to it. I will definitely come back again for a meal and the chance to be able to sit around with friends and enjoy a conversation in a nice cosy atmosphere. Thank you!

I love this place but it's far from perfect. The music is great, the drinks are yummy, the waiters are really lovely. They also do cool little theme nights like board game nights and D&D nights. Unfortunately there's never enough seating for everyone in the place so you'll often stand around for ages waiting for two people at a 10-person table to leave so you can snag a spot. Table service also takes FOREVER and more than once I've given up and simply gone back to the bar half an hour later to find my drinks just sitting there waiting for me. Despite that, I keep going back. The place is too fun not to.

Drinks were nice, food good, and great service- the only downside is the smokers that do not pay attention to the No Smoking law/signs- the smell was disgusting and actually ruined an otherwise perfect evening, especially when you are allergic to it and your sinuses clog up and you get a headache! Staff need to get on top of making sure this law is adhered to- there are heavy penalties if you do not comply a $300.00 on the spot fine for customers who break this law, $5,500.00 fine for the owner/proprietor where this occurred. Some idiot was even smoking a cigar- so nasty, we were all wondering what that disgusting smell was! We would have stayed longer , but the smell was too much!

The most wheelchair friendly and welcoming bar in The Gong! It has a ramp to the door, and two ramps in the outdoor area for easy access between the dining and smoking areas. A spacious accessible bathroom, with a very cool interior. Plus the staff are very helpful. A chill atmosphere, delicious food, and top quality cocktails to boot!

A while ago I had decided not to eat at the Prince again because the food back when it was pizzas was terrible. Last night some friends and we ate from the new veggo menu and everything we had was fantastic! The cocktails were beautiful as always, but now the food is in the class to match the venue and drinks. Wonderful!

We booked a table for four for 8.00pm on a Friday evening. On arrival we bought drinks. Our reserved table was ready for us well before our booked time. The beers were cold. The cocktails were without little umbrellas but good none the less. We ordered the mixed share plate and wedges. All good. All meals are vegitarian but that wasn't a problem even for my almost-exclusivily carnivirous son. Service was friendly. Prices were as expected. The atmosphere is great, although a little noisy on the evening we were there. There is a bar area with some seating and a larger area to the back of the building with tables and chairs. Thecback area could be a bit chilly in the winter.

Oh what a night. Cute little bar......... felt a million miles from existence. Great staff!! Melon coly widow?? ......... to blackberry widow, not because we drank all the vodka ...... 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Impeccable service, food and drinks. We tried the corn fritters and fried sandwiches from the amazing selection of dishes on Take 5 menu and they were fantastic, will definitely come back for more.

Mitch is someone who takes pride in his work, who strives for customer satisfaction, and loves to explore creativity behind the bar. This was honestly a refreshing find for the Wollongong nightlife. While I visited The Little Prince, Adam, another employee, became someone who wanted the best for the visiting customers. All I can say is after what I saw tonight, I will definitely be back, and will highly recommend The Little Prince.

Food last week was divine! We got a smorgaspord of dumplings, san choi bau (yum!) sweet pot chips, S&P squid, pork belly. Staff were helpful & enthusiastic however a bit muddled - maybe a bit more planning needed (as we had a reservation but they didnt have it) and the music at the back through speakers was a little too loud - or I may just be prematurely ageing into a nanna. But food was awesome!

Long wait for food � and to be honest why is the whole menu vegan ? Still waiting .........

Mate how the heck did your vegan menu just disappear into thin air I bloody came down from Sydney for that shit. ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Get ya shit together (please don't spit in my food). Love, outraged vegan.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Great cocktails and awesome food.

Great venue for drinks. Great vibe. Good food. Had the chips, chicken skewers and noodles. Shared between two. Good value. Was drinking Carona $8 p/bottle which is reasonable.

Not the sophisticated night spot it once was. Uncouth and rowdy clientele, an impossibly noisy atmosphere making civil conversation impossible. Overpriced drinks, ordinary food and amateur table service.
