As a lean bodied small portion eater, we bought a family of 4 pack but there was enough food for only 2 adults. Considering the price of potatoes the chips was a serving of 1 (chips were garbage). They charge extra $1 for a small tub of sauce. see pic of what you get for a grand total $38. They also make you wait outside in the sun while waiting for the food. (the seafood was good though).

Dropped in for some fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised. Old school decor in the shop which is nice. Very friendly staff and quick service.
Lovely piece of fish, cooked perfectly with not too much batter. Nice big chunk of lemon. Generous serving of chips with a good balance of crispy salty exterior but soft inside.
Highly recommend this place and I will be back for sure.

Very affordable staffs are friendly.
There is a toilet, and a hand washing facility.
Not wheelchair accessible, but I think because the staffs are friendly they would be able to help when some one needs a hand from outside as there are seats at the outside area.
Fresh fish, and the calamari rings were great too.

Good old fishnets , one of the biggest burger and seafood places in the Illawarra, has a great reputation for the healthy sized portions of food , has new owners since the last time I was there but the food still great.. big selection of fish and chips , bacon and egg rolls are massive as is there burgers , so head on down to fishnets , if your hungry you won't be dissapointed :)

Great place, good food nice people,hard to get it right 100% of the time, it only takes staff to not turn up , or anything else to cause a disaster and the ball obviously gets dropped, i am sure if the owners are made aware of any inadequacy they would be first to try and fix any problem!!!

Ripped off, didn’t get everything we ordered (missing calamari, lemons, salad dressing) salmon was over cooked, salad wasn’t even a salad just some lettuce and tomato that’s used for burgers, and to top it all off the service was RUBBISH!
We normally love this place but tonight it just turned us right off. Couldn’t believe it !!

Rip off. Use to be a great place to get take away as it was always so nice. But last nights was real bad. Potato scollops not cooked. Chips over cooked . And the chicken pieces we ordered we did not even get so not sure what they would have been like. Overall charged for goods not received and food received was either overcooked or raw. Won't be going back or recommending to anyone.
