Review Jasmine Rice - Wollongong

We had lunch in this lovely Thai restaurant. The decor is fairly traditionally Thai style which brought us back to the time in Thailand. The floor staff were all elegantly dressed. We were pretty surprised by the ambient, as well as the automated robot which carried and transported tablewares. The dishes were all nicely presented with large portion and assorted ingredients. They all of course tasted superb. The pineapple fried rice was a hidden gem not on the menu, but it came as per requested to the waiter. The soft shell crab salad was amazing as well. The price was reasonable with respect to the portion. We will definitely come back when we visit Wollongong next time!

Amazing restaurant. The food is prepared with immaculate presentation and the flavours are fantastic. The pricing is comparable to a cheap takeaway shop yet the taste, service, presentation and dining experience is first class. I would rate this venue at 8 out of 5 stars if it was possible. If you are looking for the best dining experience in Wollongong you must try Jasmine Rice.

Jasmine rice is as good as I remember if not better. The food is to die for so many wonderful flavours and it all tastes amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food service I very fast considering how busy they are . Definitely worth the drive up from the south cost.

Been here multiple times and their food never dissapoints! Everything tastes amazing, although they're a bit on the pricey side. The curries are especially pungent and have a nice but subtle kick. Would be my go to for Thai curries in Wollongong.

Owner was nice enough to fit me in without a booking. Service was fantastic, food was tasty and great array of options on menu. The curry puffs were tasty and perfectly cooked, and not oily at all. The dipping sauce was excellent too. The number 37 (cashew) stirfry was very tasty, and the beef was delicious and well cooked, not chewy. I will definitely be coming back to Jasmine Rice on my next visit to Wollongong!

Deserves a 6 out of 5 for the delicious food. Be sure to order the out of this world Tom Yum Goong, the incredible pineapple fried rice hot pot, the generous serving of Phuket crab and the amazing crying tiger. The fried rice and Phuket crab are off the menu so you’ll have to ask specifically for them. Top it off with the Thai milk tea if you like sweet drinks. Service was friendly and you’ll likely need a reservation because it is very popular

Their food is amazing and so tasty. I love it at the first time. Service is very nice. I like the decoration and atmosphere. It is cozy. You should try their coconut rice, emperor chicken and crab salads.

The most amazing food and the service is second to none. Also the outfits the staff wear add the extra touch of class. One of the best experiences in a restaurant I've had, oh and it pays to book ahead as they are very busy.
