Review Lucias By The Sea Wollongong - Wollongong

We ordered the family deal due to being in lockdown. I was blown away. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chicken and roast vegies, parmesan salad, beef ragu, and desserts sticky date with baileys butterscotch and amazing pastries. Hands down beautiful, could not fault! Cannot wait to visit when everything opens up and actually be dolled up outside rather than my dining room. EVERYONE SHOULD COME HERE!!!!!

We had our Wedding reception here in March 2022 and it was absolutely stunning. The staff at Lucia’s went above and beyond for our special day. The food was faultless and there was plenty of it. The setup was perfect and the Events team exceeded our expectations with making sure everything was exactly how we imagined. They were helpful throughout the whole planning process and provided heaps of options and flexibility with the packages to tailor make something that suited our requirements. The night went flawlessly and the wait staff made sure no one had an empty drink or plate. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback and we'd highly recommend Lucia's By The Sea for any function! Thanks heaps guys for being part of, and making our Wedding perfect!

To Gabrielle and all the staff at Lucias by the sea, I have never written a review but felt compelled to write one as our experience for our daughter's baptism at Lucias by the sea was INCREDIBLE. We and our guests were blown away by the venue, service and food! Lucia's provides outstanding pacakges that catered for our budget. Gabrielle (event coordinator) was incredible to work with. Very clear in communication, so prompt in replying to emails and the coordination of everything on the day was outstanding. The service, timing and communication throughout the event was excellent. I appreciated being so well informed of everything and all that was discussed prior was delivered above and beyond our expectations. So glad we had our event here. THANK YOU!

First time to this restaurant and we will definitely be back! We had no booking, the waitresses went out of her way to find us a Table. Service was fast and soooo friendly. 3 course meal was amazing! seafood and pasta was fresh, pork belly was melting with the best crackle. Finally the Sicily Sling is a MUST! Thank you for the great meal and service.

My wife, myself and some good friends arranged to have a sit down meal and always wanted to try Lucia’s and so we did. It was absolutely great with the very friendly staff that made us so comfortable and welcome. The meals was so delicious and timed to eat with no limit to when and how. I decided on having the crispy snapper ‘dentice’ and I wanted to lick the plate, as it was so yum. My wife had the raveloli and was able to taste and was blown away with that meal not to mention our friends had the same response. We stayed there until we finished our meals and some after meals drinks and the staff did not rush us at any time. I would go there again and recommend to anyone that wants great service and good atmosphere and delicious meals to go there. You will not be disappointed.

Visited today for my husband's birthday. Food is alright though they run out of the weekday special pork and they replaced for pork belly instead which is the meat is tender but the skin is not crispy and rubbery. I understand that most of the hospitality is underlying of staff shortage but the food service for our main took an hour an half to get served and to think the restaurant have only 5 table occupied. I will never return back again and never recommend based on my experience.

Lovely place for lunch. The view is superb and the food and wine was great. It's across the Novotel hotel where we were staying. The fish on the menu were cooked well and delicious. Could not fault it. My Chicken Parm not so. I should really have gotten a fish or seafood. The entrees, oysters and the calamari were also good. Wine we got was a good compliment to the dishes and went down well. We came when it was quiet and we got seated at the window with a view. Service was friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for long lunch. Nice coffee to finish up the lunch.

Went here for lunch. There was a bday party there and hence the restaurant was busy. Though we had a reservation, we had to wait close to 10 minutes before we were even noticed at the door and ushered to our seats. The wait for the food was close to 1 hour. However giving them 4 stars because despite the slow service, the food and drinks were amazing. Taste and plating were excellent. It overlooks the beach and hence have a fantastic view. Vegan and GF options available as well.

Great menu, service second to none, food full of flavor & fresh, great wine list with one of the best views in the Wollongong.

Beautifully attentive & friendly service team. We were treated like friends from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Elegant, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with gorgeous views. And the food!! Amazing. Hands down some of the best seafood that I have had since immigrating to this beautiful country 12 years ago. I tip my hat to the chef(s). The food was cooked to perfection. Fresh seafood , deliciously prepared and beautifully displayed (while it lasted, which wasn’t for long)! I (we) will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, drink and service! The dining experience matches the first class views of Wollongong Beach. Can not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Do yourself a favour and visit!

Food dry and over cooked 1 1/2 hours wait for meal. Ordered a bottle of wine told them it was hot so brought us a glass of ice
