Review Tonitto Continental Cakes - Wollongong

Have ordered cakes from here for years and never had a problem for years and never had a problem. Unfortunately today was just not the day paid for a red velvet cake for a birthday and unfortunately got a cake that was absolutely dry and tasteless that no one could even finish , ordered this cake for Christmas and it was delicious don’t know what’s happened but unfortunately it’s just not good enough. How can the same cake a few months apart be so different and so not the same. Such a disappointing outcome as I said have ordered so many cakes from here before. Felt like the order was rushed and with not much care. I do think them for bringing me the cake as I had an appointment. Great customer service , not great cake this time around .

Beautiful food and great customer service. Had a function canceled a year ago (due to lockdown) and was able to use store credit carried forward no problems. Highly recommended, no wonder they have been so successful for so long.

I agree with other reviews of late that there has been a huge shift in quality of the Tonitto brand. There may be either a change in management or possibly pastry chef, as today I bought a curry pie that was completely tasteless. It was no different to a plain meat pie whereas previously I loved the real spicy kick of the curry and how tasty it was. I also purchased a spinach and ricotta roll which lacked taste and was extremely gluggy. That went straight in the bin as it was inedible. It's very disappointing because Tonitto's had the best pies, pastries and cakes and my family and friends would always comment on how fresh and delicious they were. ☹️

Amazing, delicious products and absolutely fantastic customer service!! I am so grateful to have found a business that still prides itself on delivering exceptional products and service. Well done to the entire Tonittos Team!!

Please add salt to the meat in your pies otherwise they are tasteless. The 3 star is for the tasty sausage sausage roll. No rubbish bin outside meant I had to leave my 1/2 eaten pie on the table.

Hands down one of the best cafes I’ve been to in a very long time, such friendly and welcoming staff easily helped me pick out a few different cannoli from their amazing range of pastries which by the way, the Ricotta cannoli is to die for. I will happily return again and again!
