Great place, affordable and delicious! It's also worth noting they do take cash only!

Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!
This is a cheap and cheerful meal the food is nice. I just found that it was more noodles then veggies. But for the price what els can you ask for. Over all nice though.

I ordered vegetarian with noodles. My friend ordered laksa it was nice she asked for spicy but she said not as spicy as she would of liked lol.

I loved the vegetarian spring rolls!

I see that this place hasn't been reviewed in over 3 years. I don't understand it. This is pure authentic Vietnamese food at its best, without doubt!
None of that 'Asian Fusion" rubbish where the owners are trying to get a bite of every cherry!
A real Vietnamese restaurant run by Vietnamese, who, the friendly waiter tells me, are from a village near Da Nang. The Pho Ga is totally beautiful with a most flavoursome clear broth, probably the best I've had outside of Ho Chi Minh. Very impressive. I would highly recommend it if you want a light lunch in the Gong. Unfortunately, we live on the Gold Coast.........!

P.S; Zomato list this place as a takeaway. It is in fact a BYO restaurant, spacious, clean and comfortable. It is also inexpensive, e.g; Pho Ga $11.00.

Ick. The crispy fried chicken was so dry you could turn it into shoe leather. Really not great food at all. Would not go back

Food took forever! dishes came out 1 by 1, not in groups like usual. rhe table next to us was quite annoyed as they were a table of 8 sharing one meal at a time! anyway, we had fresh rolls for entree they were fresh and nice the dipping sauce was very nice however the rice wrapper was not soaked enough it smelt and tasted like the packet and was way to rubbery.
Squid was perfect. Duck curry aromatic, it was okay bright yellow. We also had the beef with Woodear mushrooms I should say with 1 1/2 Woodear mushrooms! But the flavour was quite nice peas added a nice sweetness, yet again Fluro yellow. I would go back but it's not first on my list for Vietnamese, it was also clean.
