Review Subway - Wollongong

It doesn't matter whether they're dead quiet or absolutely slammed, the staff here are always friendly and on top of it. They deal very well with the lunch rush and can always spare a smile and a greeting. The older gent who seems like a manager/owner is absolutely lovely and clearly very experienced. I'm always impressed by how clean the place is, which gives me faith in their food. The only downside is that they can be a bit stingy with salads, but you can always ask for more of whatever's lacking. I've never had a disappointing sub here.

Never in our years or going to subway have we come across such a stingy approach. Good Lord, the worker was ripping each piece of salads into the sub. E.g. strip of capsicum is broken in half so for a foot long there was 2 pieces broken up. Same with onions. That is unbelievable! Whilst I understand that the direction may come from the manager to staff. But when a customer asks for more, ADD more. The girl just ripped 1 additional piece per salad item. I cannot believe what I have witnessed. I am just glad this is not my local subway and have a new respect for the ones I usually attend. I refuse to support a business that allows this sort of stinginess. I can see other reviews from previous months complaining the same thing. It's nothing to do with fuel increase or floods etc. This is just bad management!

no cookie like bruh. So i orderd subway it cam with NO COOKY!!! And the lettuce tasted like cabbage DIGUSTANG ThEN the cooky monster camr in my room 1star

Ordered via uber eats to my work and the workers sent a lil note and a lil cookie, might be something small to some but it definitely brightened my day a lot! And the food was so tasty and fresh and still warm! 😋

Food is pretty good and not too busy, but geez are they stingy with the salads. It's one of the things that really put me off this particular Subway is that I can't help but feel like I'm being ripped off. Considering you are essentially paying for all of the salads, when I only order lettuce, carrot and spinach you would imagine they'd put a bit more on, but no, 3 spinach leaves and barely any lettuce, every time. I mean c'mon guys, be reasonable.

This is the best subway I have been to in years! Subways have started lacking over the years but this was just unreal tonight!

On Saturday morning I went to subway on my break and ordered a 6inch sub with cookies and a drink. I was pleasantly served by a respectful man who has dedicated 9 years to this place. I forget his name but he took the time to perfect every detail of my sub, eg. dicing the tomato slices and reaching for the freshest loaf of Italian herbs and cheese. I order here all the time but have never had such great service in any store ever. I will 100% be returning tomorrow. I want to rate this experience 7/5 stars and insist that you praise this man for his outstanding performance.
