Review Thai Crown Restaurant - Wollongong

Close to both Wollongong station and Wollongong hospital. We had ordered 3 items from lunch menu. Food was tasty although we felt like portion was kind little; specially all of the items were fulfilled by more vegetables and less meat. One of the item was ind of salty. Hope we would have much better experience if we visit next time. Front staff was nice and friendly.

I've eaten at every Thai restaurant in Wollongong and these guys are by far my favourite. Food is great, staff are kind and the cook is happy to modify dishes to your taste. I hope they are around until the inevitable heat death of the universe.

On 11 Nov 20 (am time) Shop was robbed and burned. Will be closed until repaired. Police have cctv of those involved.

Had a Chicken Satay lunch pack today. Very fresh, tasted great and the serving size was perfect. Very friendly customer service and the price was good too. Will be going back whenever I'm in the area!

Delicious food and fast service for lunch menu. Green curry had some great heat which is what you want from a green curry and satay sticks were tender and yummy. The rice was perfect. Will be back!

Ordered on Menulog from this restaurant (first try of this place) and selected ASAP- the order came 1hr 40mins later even though we were told it would be 1 hour's wait. This was after multiple calls to the restaurant with them not knowing quite where the delivery driver was or how much longer it would be. I've never waited this long ordering anything from menulog and I'm a regular. Food came at 10pm, warm. Very, very poor.

Me and family stopped here On the way back to Sydney. Came at 5pm. The food is not that great as The Tomyum seafood only got a lot of mushroom and not much seafood. The laksa just few slices of beef and cost $17 not included rice. Is alot expensive for the Quality.

Food was delicious and service was exceptional. Thai Crown accommodated for our 25 person dinner cheerfully and patiently.

This place has a beautiful menu and lovely staff. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food, very friendly service, Ignore the fact that there is a sheet of three-ply in the front window, they will be fixing it soon, Inside it's warm and cosy with booths and tables, and the food is definitely worth the price.

Great food! Had honey chicken and it was delicious! Especially with the combination fried rice. Money bags, pad Thai with pork and prawn crackers...FANTASTIC! Thank you so much!!! Also, they use really nice cuts of meats, not the crap ones � worth the money

I agree with the other reviews. My wife cooks Thai food very well, and we have eaten in many Thai restaurants. The first time she ate here she told the cook that it was the tastiest Penang curry she had ever eaten! We come here whenever we visit Wollongong.

I travel to Wollongong at least 4 times per year for business. When I visited in September I was exhausted and decided to order delivery from Thai Crown (the closest restaurant to my hotel, and recently opened since my previous visit). Back in September 2016, I didn't have high hopes but was very pleasantly surprised. Order was very quick, was delivered by an extremely friendly and enthusiastic older man, and the food was great! On this visit, I have only returned from Bangkok two weeks ago. And yes, while the flavours aren't the same (there isn't a Thai restaurant in Australia that can truly replicate authentic Thai flavours!!), I still really enjoy the food. This is my new go-to Thai restaurant when travelling to Wollongong for work.

This is the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand.

This was beyond a doubt the worst Thai ever! Took over an hour from the time the order was placed. Then 1 meal was only 1/2 size and a other complety wrong! When trying to contact them regarding mistakes they put us on hold and we are still waiting from them to take us off hold and finish answering our enquiry! NEVER AGAIN STAY AWAY. They also allow dogs (non working) inside the restaurant! The restaurant was also dirty!
