Worst restaurant in the Illawarra. We've given it way too many second chances and it gets worse everytime. Food takes forever, that's if they remember to bring your meal out. Watched a bunch of takeaway customers come back in tonight aswell because they got the wrong orders. You made me write this. I didn't want to do it. Never again, Wollongong is waaaaay better.

Moon’s Sushi in Woonona is much better than other restaurants of the same name in Wollongong and West Wollongong. The sushimi is fresh and expertly prepared. Their yakitori is sweet, without the floury taste of sauces at other places. Their Takoyaki is actually better than some places I went to in Japan. Tempura and crab croquettes are really crispy and delicious. If you’re really hungry or want leftovers order the dinner bento.
I also really appreciated the cleanliness, hand sanitizer, contract tracing list, and table spacing. Service staff were also wearing masks and very friendly.

They’ve jacked their prices 25-50% across the board. No updated menus available online. It’s now overpriced for the quality you get. Pretty average service. Don’t reccomend.

Best sushi around Woonona area, better than the one in Wollongong. The price is the same as Wollongong but you get the better quality food. Atmosphere is great and staffs are lovely.

Pretty much the best sushi you can get in the north Illawarra. Friendly, attentive staff, authentic Japanese decor and excellent ramen. Great prices for the quality of the food. Not licensed though, so BYO.

Sushi tasted horrible. The rice was bland and unflavoured, the chicken had teriyaki sauce but it wasn’t soaked up by the chicken at all, just runny and sitting there. Wasted money on a don buri bowl and a bento box, only to throw them out and go elsewhere afterwards. Would not recommend to anyone unfortunately.
