Review The Green Frog Cafe - Wollongong

Toasted and Tasty. The Green Frog Cafe is a pretty typical cafe. It has a range of sandwiches, salads, snacks and beverages that spans a nice variety of flavors and origins. For my first trip to the cafe, I ordered one of the weekly specials, the Toasted Turkish, with a mix berry smoothie.<br/><br/>It took a little while for the smoothie to come out (my boyfriend's nachos actually made it before our drinks!), but it was well worth the wait. It was nice and thick, and loaded with blended fruit. The Toasted Turkish is a punny little take on a toasted Turkish bread sandwich, filled with turkey, pineapple and mayo, with veggies on the side for you to fill it as you wish. <br/><br/>The portions were also incredibly generous. I usually feel a bit empty and want a bit more after having a sandwich lunch, but in combination with the smoothie, it was really more than enough.<br/><br/>Service was fairly speedy even though it was a fairly busy lunch hour and everyone we spoke to was polite. An overall good experience on top of a lovely tasting lunch.
