Review Three Chefs Eatery - Wollongong

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere could have been a 3/5 schnitzel decent, but it seems half the chips must have fell off the plate? Also ordered pepper gravy, came with normal gravy returned asked for initial pepper gravy and was then given Diane wasn’t busy so overall 2/5 FairPlay

The food is terrible. They advertise the burger as angus beef patty with a milk bun but the patty was frozen and the bun was the cheapest bun known to man. When I picked the burger up it fell apart and the ingredients fell on the plate. The cheese tasted like a kraft single. If you are going to charge $20 for a burger you should not be using frozen patties. The other meals we ordered were just as pitiful. We wont be back.

What a great place. Awesome serves. Overlooking the beach. The food is fresh and full of flavors. Pleasant atmosphere. Ample parking. Kids friendly. A hidden oasis!

Very dissatisfied with the food since the bistro changed hands! Not only have you taken away my favorite meals but prices have gone up and quality of the food has dropped dramatically! Thai beef salad definitely is not thai beef! Bring back the salmon with kumera mash! And get a new chef..

The main menu food was outstanding. I had the grilled Barra with salad. However, the kids menu needs some improvement. The food offered is limited (fish and chips, pizza etc) and there are no healthy options. Also, the only drink offered for kids is soft drink. I asked the manager for juice or water instead and was refused so I paid extra $5 for a juice from the bar. I was disappointed that the ONLY option is soft drink. It's a small gripe in what otherwise was a lovely lunch. Also, great kids park just opposite!

The food is terrible! Tasteless fish, floury garlic prawns, horrible snitzel & the pizza looked horrible. Eaten with previous operators & food was great! (This is not a reflection of the club bar or wait staff).

I’m happy to amend my review given that we were given a voucher to try the new bistro after a terrible experience when the original caterers left. The new bistro is fantastic, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly and great with the kids! The management have worked hard to turn his around and it is better than before. Well done!

Had a great night, good food, good beer James Squires 50 lashes pale lager, couple of games of Keno and won 3 yes 3 meat trays. Friendly staff, good service, definitely a place to go to.

Came for a girls dinner out and thought we would give it a go as the food used to be good. It was overpriced....greatly overpriced for what it was and tasted dry and bland. Some of the dishes were very salty. It was busy but that aside won't be back. Save your money.

Since the club has taken over the eatery and changed the name to Three Chefs there has been a dramatic turn around with excellent food and service, all staff are smiling again and guests totally satisfied, give Towradgi Bowlo a go I know you won’t regret it !!!

We Ordered 2 of the rumps with avocado and bernaise sauce 1 was medium an 1 medium rare, 1 medium rump with Dianne sauce and 1 kids spaghetti $99 later and the steaks came out nearly cold and the medium rare was pretty much blu. Left over half of the medium rare steak on the plate. Vegies seemed to be raw just thrown on the griller. The wait wasnt that long but would have preffered to wait longer an have good steaks. Definitely not a good steak at all.

The three chefs have changed the bistro for the better. Good to see a great club getting better.

This is about Black Rock not Three Chefs . Not sure why people are complaining. I was glad that the menu changed and was not the same 'gourmet' stuff that everyone else has. So glad to be able to have my grilled barramundi with garlic prawns again. Lovely salad to go with it. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. You just need some decent entertainment to get the crowds back. The whole of Wollongong is missing Jo Ville, I think. The night we did go for the entertainment recently there were only about 12 people in the club and the band was so LOUD (and rude actually as they were deliberately playing 'hope I never see you face again' as we left after complaining about how loud it was). We would definitely NOT go back if the same band was playing there. I would still prefer to go to your club to eat rather than Oscars across the road where they have ruined the menu (you cant even get a decent steak sandwich there any more and the fish with coleslaw is dreadful.

We joined the club because of the bistro food as it was always delicious and we came from Thirroul. Have visited the new bistro 3 times just to give it a fair go but it is no where near the way it used to be. Not as much variety, more expensive and just oh so. Reading the reviews seems like we are not the only ones. We’ll be visiting Woonona Bulli Club next time to see if they offer better food at reasonable prices.

Had a great night with great friends...won on Keno..our friends won a raffle.....had a yummo dinner and did some dancing to a great band Clock Wise.....I recommend the club and the band...what more could you ask from our Local...oh yeah a courtesy bus would be fantastic !

Thanks for making my Mother's Day the worst in history. Nothing more fun then sitting watching everyone at our table eating while I waited for a meal that never arrived. Absolute disgusting attitude from staff when told of problem. Will never recommend to anyone and I was told the food was crap. Really need to pick up your game. Thanks for ruining my day.
