Review Nyojo's Pizza - Wonthaggi

My Aunty and I get pizza 🍕 from here most weeks. The guys are always so friendly on the phone and know us by name now 🙄 which is a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. It's a busy shop so we always order at 5pm for a certain time pick up and the pizza is ready and fresh for us then. Best pizza each and every time.

UPDATED REVIEW: Nyojo's has been our go-to pizza shop for a couple of years now and I have enjoyed every order from them! My partner and I are vegans and struggle with take out as there aren't many options locally but Nyojo's has listened and considered our cheeseless pizzas and have since added a VEGAN range with vegan cheese: The vegan deluxe and the vegan garlic pizzas! The cheese is nice and stretchy Whether you're vegan or not, they are for sure the highest quality pizzas in town and the staff are lovely. OLD REVIEW FOR CONTEXT: I would definitely recommend Nyojo's for your pizza night! We actually order VEGAN and ask for the Veggie Deluxe with no cheese and it's great! We also love the Surfer Veg because of the yummy apricot jam base but there isn't a large variety of veg on the pizza so unless the staff put extra toppings, it's quite bare. Adding a pic of these two. SO wish there was a vegan cheese option in town or a pizza I can order that is already made with no cheese so I don't have to specify and risk miscommunication (which has happened a few times).

Been on holidays in the region for about a week and thought we’d try some local pizza on Saturday night. Staff were fine and service seemed fine, but the actual food was terrible! We had 2 pizzas and we were disappointed with both! The bases were way too thick , and the toppings were very ordinary. I couldn’t believe the amount of Ham on our pizzas, especially the capriciosa. It was way over the top, which meant it was not cooked properly. Very disappointed and couldn’t recommend!

Genuinely really good pizza! Probably the best pizza base I've had in a while - nice and thin with no doughy taste. Great service too, was delivered faster than the estimate

DISGUSTING SERVICE! Waited almost 2 Hours for a VERY simple order. We were patient and waited 1 1/2 hours before we asked them why it was taking so long. The Woman working there Spoke rudely to us and said our order was on our way. We waited 30 MINUTES for our order that was 'supposedly' on its way. After 2 HOURS and being spoken to rudely for no reason, she still expected full payment for our order and still had attitude. NEVER AGAIN! And the food was not nice at all Darren! Definitely recommend any other pizza shop EDIT; (Replying to owners comment) We live locally and have for over 20 years! And it was my family who ordered the meal. Very disappointed and disgusted with how we were treated last night! We want nothing to do with this place again after what we delt with. My family were very Hungry and after they finally got their meal they weren't very satisfied. Not worth it.

The pizza here was delicious, we got the pesto chicken and Hawaiian both were really really tasty, especially the tomato sauce base(it made the pizza). The service here was outstanding. The staff were all so so so friendly and really made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Definitely recommend this place as the best pizza in Wonthaggi and possibly some of the best pizza and service I have ever had. Will for sure be coming back next time I come down.

Large with the lot and a small garlic and cheese. These are the best pizzas we have had anywhere. Service is fast and friendly and the price is right. Very highly recommended.

I am new to the area and tried them for the first time recently. The pizza had almost no topping and was drowning in bbq sauce, not quite what I was expecting or wanting. At $12 for a small pizza and an extra $5 for local delivery this was drastically overpriced for what I got. I would not recommend this place.

Wow. Could not believe it. $26 delivery for one large pizza and a Coles like single garlic bread. Will never buy from again

Best pizza. You can always tell when a pizza has been made with quality ingredients! Love the gluten free option. Oh and the staff are awesome too.
