My partner is a serious ice-cream lover and The Junction Ice Creamery continues to serve up the best gelato style ice creams on the market. We frequently rely on their ice creams for last minute dinner guests (which I definitely wouldn't do if they weren't so fantastic because I love to cook) and love to try any new flavours they have on offer. This week we were lucky to get some roasted black sesame ice cream. It's fair to say we were a little trepidatious because of the whole savoury sweet thing which we're not massive fans of. But there was no need. This ice cream was an absolute stunner, especially if you like the flavour of sesame. It would be perfect paired with mango, banana or lychees. Although, my partner says the only thing that should be paired with ice cream is, well, more ice cream!!
I cannot rate this place enough!! Ice cream is always delicious and I can never drive past this place without going in!! Always friendly staff and their honeycomb and hazelnut ice creams are a must try!
Tasty ice cream, and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like ice cream! I would recommend the lemon cheesecake or passionfruit flavours. If you have the Entertainment Book, use your voucher to get two regular ice creams for the price of one! We got two ice creams for less than $5!
A must go! Could not rate this place any higher. Special little gem that we'd go to after driving lessons. There is not one flavour I have come across that has made me scrunch my face to an ugly mess.
Our favourite ice cream place! We come here at least once a month for coffee and ice cream. The staff are lovely and there's a nice park across the road to sit and enjoy. The coffee can sometimes be a little burnt, but I am really really fussy, so it could just be me! Lovely place.

What's to say: the best ice cream in Perth! I can just never go past the vanilla fudge sundae (half cream and nuts, as it is just too much otherwise), as it is absolute heaven. Seriously, I'd give them 5/5 every time, but for the price. (Well, it's not that expensive...I just wish it were cheaper so I could eat more :(
I think I'm hooked on the Lemon Lime Brûlée pie. I might have purchased the whole pie over time slice by slice.

I love the lemon sorbet and my daughter loves their award winning vanilla ice cream.
The ice-cream here is perfect for warm days. The price is average ($4.50 for a regular cone) but you get a good sized scoop. There's also a variety of drinks and some sweet and savoury food options. The service is friendly and the seating is comfortable.
Wanted to try their peanut butter flavored ice-cream but they didn't have it at that time so opt to cookies and cream! The cookies was still crunchy and not soggy or soft, which made it really nice! Will try out other flavors and their apple pie next time!

Great Icecream. Still trying to figure out if I prefer this place to Simmos, they both make great icecream. I recommend anyone to try. They have some really innovative and tasty flavours!

It was great to find this place open on New Years Day when so many others weren't. There were plenty of customers but still tables to be had - I had a Jaffa hot fudge sundae and the ice cream was as good as Simmo's. Well worth a visit.
Yum Yum Yum. I can't believe I didn't get here sooner, having everyone I know tell me I must go...well I finally did, I ate and I conquered. Mars Bar, Old English Toffee with peacans, French Vanilla, oh yes and they also dedicate a small area for pies and vegie balls so you can stop for lunch and an icecream after. Noticed gluten free options and ingredients listed in each lunch product. Handy!
Beautiful...all good. The only constructive criticism would be that the fudge in the 'hot fudge' sundae wasn't hot...but I'm just being picky now! Go there!
The perfect end to a summer's day..... I would drive for hours just to get my fix of the Junction ice-cream. I was first introduced to this place as a child on Sunday drives with the folks, and am now driving my own little guy here regularly during summer.
Favourite flavours are jaffa, honeycomb and banana.
You have to try this place - it will not disappoint, and all of those accolades can't be wrong!

Great ice cream. One of our favourite places to stop for ice cream after a trip to the Swan Valley. The location is really odd, and it doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside really for that matter), but several of their ice cream flavours have won awards.
Last time I was there I had a flavour I hadn't seen before (it was only a couple days ago and I can't remember the name, it was something like 'Angelica'). The base was vanilla with small dark chocolate chips and chunks of nougat which tasted like honeycomb. It was delicious, creamy and crunchy - unlike any flavour I've had before. My partner had the mars bar flavour, but we both agreed it wasn't that great and seemed a little weak in flavour. It's the only one we haven't liked so far.
Their regular cone is also not the cheap crispy kind you would normally get - it's more like a waffle cone, but slightly thicker (and comes at no extra cost).
If you're lucky you might get one of the few tables outside, but the place gets busy, even in winter. Service is pretty quick though.
Our total was around $7 for two regular waffle cones (the thinner kind), with one scoop for me and two for my partner, so prices are very reasonable. I think they also serve some food and other sweets, and of course all the usual ice cream options (sundaes, milkshakes, etc.) but I always go straight for the ice cream - it's the best I've had in Perth so far, and I don't say that lightly.
Almost as good as the ice cream itself, you must try their homemade chocolate sauce. They ladle the quality hot liquid onto your ice cream and it sets like ice magic- only far better!
