Review Luxe Woollahra - Woollahra

The cafe used to be great but not sure what has happened, perhaps the kitchen staff have changed. Ordered the spinach and feta wrap which had no feta, and whole peppercorns throughout it. It was inedible despite having ordered it 5-10 times previously. Wouldn’t recommend going anymore sadly

Worst cafe experience in my entire life. Once we sat down we waited 15 minutes for a waiter to even acknowledge we were there and give us water. Their online ordering system is horrible, you can’t even ask for special instructions, so we asked a waiter if we could order through her. She was awful and made us feel terrible for ordering food, saying “I have 10 people waiting to be seated”. Obviously she cares more about getting people seated than taking care of the ones already seated! They got our order completely wrong and said that it would be a 15 minute wait to get the right meal. An absolute joke. The coffee cup was too big for its base and one of us spilt our coffee on an entire meal. About 5 waiters saw it being spilt and didn’t do anything to help. Nor did they ask us if we wanted a new one until we said something. Stay away from this cafe!

Absolutely loved this place. Comfy couches, indoor and outdoor area. Very upmarket. Food was great. Big portions which is in line with the prices they are charging.

Rude waitress. Cold hard toast. Ice cold un-spreadable butter with a meal we had to put together ourselves. Then when we let them know how we felt about things we were basically told that’s how it is here. Barely one star. Especially for the price.

Extremely rude service from time of entering…..we had made a booking,- after waiting a few minutes we were pointed to a table in the corner, then grunted at and when asking for service we were looked at as though we were a i hinderance….. needless to say we walked out a party of 5 …. Why would we give this business out time.Such a shame as we were previous customers

I also had an order on Uber eats and when the driver got there they told them they didn’t have the food. Why did you give my food to a complete random person? I feel sorry for the driver who probably didn’t get paid for travelling there and I never got my food. The order got cancelled but it was a bad experience, and now I can see it happened to someone else? Around a month ago too..

It's good, like from atmosphere to service to food, but not great, especially the pancakes, they were not that soft.

Lovely cafe in secluded courtyard in trendy location. Coffee was excellent and food was first class. Lots of beautiful people and service was friendly and unpretentious . Couldn’t fault the place in anyway.

Coffee frappe was warm and not at all icey, breakfast bruschetta had half a tomato and one piece of feta.

I was catching up with friends and due to the smoky weather we decided to sit inside. They have high chairs which was needed for my friends bub.

As it was a hot day I decided to order an ice chocolate but for $8 it’s just milk with a small scoop of ice cream. They need to up the syrup to make it taste like chocolate.
The corn and cauliflower fritter was okay, nothing special but safe to order. My friends ordered their teriyaki chicken salad and the Green bowl.

As it wasnt too busy, it was a nice location to sit and catch up. I will come back to try their pastas which looked good going to other customers.

The service and seats are average. Normal hot coffee is nice but the ice coffee is more like drinking melted ice cream. A total disappointment when I have ordered “Luxe Plate” which is 20$ + 4$ for an overcooked poached egg. Plate has 2 piece of sourdough, half an avo and whole tomato sliced. 2 pieces of cheese. I thought it was a side dish but lol nightmare.

Serviceable cafe that is tucked away from the busy Woollahra streets.

Weekends are incredibly busy and the food is on par for what is expected for a breakfast/brunch.

A pretty cafe but not my first choice.

Poor service. Ordered a croissant with our coffee and it never arrived. They forgot. No apologies more stunned silence. They were surprised I was not willing to wait for them to go away and prep the croissant after I had waited 25 minutes. Charged me full price for our coffees. No great clue on what customer service was or how to apologise and make it up to us.

Awesome breakfast, coffee, space and people. Friendly staff. Pricey but that’s expected around here. Dog friendly is a bonus for weekend visits.

It feels a bit strange, and not like anything else I can think of in Sydney, to be surrounded in a little courtyard on all sides with luxury stores and Di Jones real estate looming over you. The diners at Luxe in Woollahra also seemed very luxe themselves: a watch or jewellery or fashionable piece of clothing that looked simply very expensive.

Delicious food but the service was too too terrible. They seated us, gave us no menus so had to flag someone down to give us, but then after 15 minutes no one took our order so again I had to call someone over. The waiter took forever to write down our order, and forgot to put through my coffee. Then when the food came I asked for olive oil and the waitress was so rude about that- don’t ask me why!!! The food luckily was very nice but not sure if I’ll return because of the shocking experience!!! I am an Instagram blogger but will not post their food because I do not want to promote their business.

Nice coffee and friendly service. But that’s where the good stuff ends... served burnt toast with dry scrambled eggs and doughy undercooked ricotta hotcakes that actually contained raw batter in the centre! Staff were apologetic when we provided feedback. Overall very disappointed, wont be back

Waited almost half an hour for bacon and eggs. The eggs were hard and cold and the bacon was replaced by cold ham. No apology, just bad service. Can't even get a simple bacon and egg right. Avoid.

Terrible service - rude and arrogant. We visited for lunch and the food was very ordinary - sandwich fell apart before my first bite (soggy and not great flavours). Won't be coming back!!

Was in the area and roaming around looking for food. Came upon Luxe and grabbed a sandwich. Pretty tasty, good friendly service and a very nice little spot. Might need to give the coffee a go next time.

Came here for breakfast on the weekend. There was a little wait but we were sat in a great spot. I ordered the scar ambled eggs with smashed avo, I said no to the bread the the waiter was so sweet and made it cheaper for me. Service is great, food excellent. It's a bit pricey but that's to be expected in Woollahra.

I visited this place for coffee and its very pleasant. Its nestled in a building and has a very cosmopolitan ambience. The customer service is engaging and they have a selection of baked goods on offer.

From cafe, to bakery, to restaurant, Sydney’s Luxe seems intent on TAKING OVER THE WORLD. Okay, maybe I’ve been watching one too many action movies, but you get the idea. Luxe started from a little cafe in Westfield’s Bondi, and then proceeded to open a bakery in Newtown to control the quality of the baked goods they serve. And now, they’ve moved on to restaurants, opening the first one in Singapore earlier this year, and now a beautiful location in Woollahra accented in white and gold.

We were lucky to get a preview of the new menu that will roll out to other Luxe cafes. The Luxe chain's motto goes “we create artisan breads, brew flavourful coffee and make great food”. Luxe branches can be found in Singapore, Miranda, Bondi Junction, Newtown and Woollahra.

I LUV LUXE. Food was soooooooo good, service was equally as good. I would go back in a heart beat!!! A must try
Brunch On Joy
my favourite category is "the most important yum of the day". Under this category at the top of the list is their signature Tijuana breakfast. Oh yes, see that hash brown? I would imagine this would be their most popular dish with the amazing tender pulled pork, chipotle cream for a soft creamy chilli hit and to lighten it up, avocado and corn salsa.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Located in Queens Court, or as it appears to be, downtown Provence, the pink stone walls, al fresco dining and designer shops surrounding the café make you feel far from Sydney. The café’s artisan baked goods are now a perfect side order to the new dinner menu. Here you have a seasonal and interesting collection of home-cooked share plate specialties, including their Grilled Peppers ($12) with yuzu salt – a Russian roulette of mild and straight-shooting hot green chillies, soothed by a creamy goats’ curd

Bad bad service! The food is okay, but the waitresses avoid you like the plague, then act particularly disdainfully when you eventually manage to catch ones eye! Annoying!

AWESOME!. I came here for coffee and cake. Both were delicious!!! The service, staff and food/drinks were excellent. I will be coming here again and recommending this place to others.

Best salads at lunch. Just had first dinner here - amazing!! Staff, food, wine and atmosphere all great- not to mention great music with warm heaters and blankets outside.
We ate sticky chicken, grass fed steak and lobster all of which were delicious. Definitely a must.
Jamo
We just had dinner there and it was great! Gorgeous fresh tasty food, a really friendly atmosphere.
Great way to start the weekend!!

Baristas are Arrogant. The food was good but the atmosphere was ruined by how rude and arrogant the barista was. In addition to this he made the worst coffee I've had in a long time. You would also think he was a scientist the way he pours his milk etc hello your a coffee maker and you can't even do that right!
