What a lovely place, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food at affordable prices. We'll definitely be back! 👍🏻
Amazing food! Good atmosphere! Absolutely loved the place! Highly recommended to anyone who wants good food and a place to relax!
We loved the food and drinks, atmosphere and great vibe! We felt like we could have been anywhere in Europe! Zucchini spaghetti just awesome!
Excellent place to chill! Price is very reasonable! Friendly staff! Will definitely come more often to spend my time with family and friends together at this cozy environment.
Ginger Iced Tea and the Corn Fritters looked and tasted sensational.Great post run brunch. Will be back.
Nice foods with reasonable pice, a place that shouldn't miss
Love the coffee. Excellent food. Would definitely come back again
Great food Great service will absolutely visit again
Delicious tapas and amazing service. Had a great night at Spicerpm! Banana cheesecake was a standout dish.
The most important part, the coffee, was fantastic. If there wasn't already enough caffeine in my system to slow time, I'd sit there drinking it all day. The food was fresh, delicious and a generous size to boot. The staff were cheerful and the cafe itself is bright and welcoming. If you're in the area and chasing a drink or a feed: this is the place you want to find yourself.
Excellent food, excellent coffee and even better hosts. Get in and indulge.
Best coffee and muffins in Woollahra. Probably the best service in Sydney. It´s the most wonderful place to start your day with a smile.
Great food, great coffee
Time for another yummy breakfast.

Green breakfast was delicious! Great service and coffee as well. Highly recommend this place.
Spicer cafe in Woollahra is a cute little wine bar and cafe trading just off Queen st. With indoor and outdoor seating, the small kitchen is able to accommodate food and coffee orders with little waiting time.
We ordered ricotta toast with avocado and the fritters of the week which were zucchini with a spicy sauce. Delicious enough at a good price point will keep the punters coming back. Worth a try.
Love this place! Have wandered past for a while now and never actually been in - is my new go to weekend brunch spot. Great açaà bowl + chili eggs. Can get a little warm on a hot day but nothing an iced tea or latte can’t fix.
Good food and coffee ! The nut mylk is a must try. Perfect brunch place for the weekend. The environment is cosy and staff is friendly. Make sure you come early as it can be pretty packed during the weekend. Would definitely come back !!!
To say it was an awesome brunch is an understatement. About: Spicer, a small cafe at the heart of Woollahra, maybe tiny but it's the only that is small in there. They are big on flavour and experience. The tea and coffee lover in me started the brunch with a warm cup of dirty chai tea latte. One sip and winter suddenly feels awesome from gloomy. Then came in my order of shakshuka, a middle eastern baked egg on tomato sauce and spices. I loved the smell of the dried spices coming off it. It has the right level of spiciness, just enough to kick your winter blues away.
My hip 9-year old companion had ginger iced tea and avo toast. He was pretty quiet all throughout the meal. I'm sure you know what that means.
And as if I don't have enough caffeine in blood stream from the dirty chai tea latte, I had to end our brunch with a long black. The coffee neutralised my taste palette and now, I'm hungry again!
Thanks for the epic brunch About: Spicer
Great menu and best coffee, I always enjoy going to this establishment. Highly recommend as one of the best in the Eastern suburbs. Been here so many times with family and friends as they are open right through to the evenings. Love the zucchini spaghetti's and delicous burgers.
Chef Jose, manager Jacques and dessert queen Sino are the tight-knit team behind the long running About Spicer cafe. Already open for breakfast and lunch, the crew decided it was time to bring some night life to Woollahra with some tapas and plenty of cocktails.
Other than my time at Victor Churchill where I met Anthony Bourdain (I’m still fanning myself from the excitement of it all!), I don’t spend a lot of time in the Eastern Suburbs. I mean, it’s pretty and all, but I only ever get more absorbed in my plate of duck fat potatoes as fit people in gym gear run by with their giant dogs on a leash.
These guys are absolutely doing some amazing things when it comes to food. From stuffed cookies sandwiched around frozen banana cheesecake to tender meatballs in bourbon sauce and stacks of chickpea pancakes with tasty as vegetables... There really is something for everyone. Add to that an extensive and creative cocktail list, the loveliest staff we've come across in the area and great tunes, and you have yourself a winner. Definitely one of our faves!

A friend invited me here to trial it out as she got an invite from the Cafe. (So it was a free dinner for me :D)
Tapas style restaurant for the dinner service.
To start we got the toasted Turkish break with humus & cashew basil. The bread was so crispy and the basil was my favourite.
The next items we got were the:
-Kentucky bourban meat balls
-Finger lickin chicken wings
-Spicy chorizo hot dog
-Risotto for 2 with chilli prawn
-Chickpea socca stack
-Beef empanades
Favorites were the meat balls and beef empanades. The chorizo hot dog was very heavy! Any meat eater would love this.
Because the staff were slowly transitioning into their summer menu, we got to sample a few delicious summer cocktails including a Gin Mojito, A strawberry & Aperol spritz and their famous salted caramel espresso martini!
Zena who was our waiter for the evening was very kind and helped explain all the dishes as well as recommend the favourites.
Finally, the dessert was one of the best I've ever tasted! It was more like an ice cream sandwich which consisted of frozen banana cheesecake + Nutella in between two white chocolate chip cookies accompanied with coffee & Kahlua foam in a cup. There was a party in my mouth! And it was amazing!
Who knew this cute little cafe existed! Overall, was a pleasure to go try out the menu and i will definitely be back as a paying customer just to have that dessert again!
WOW this place is prtty spectacular - its tucked off in a side street in Woollahra and is definitely a hidden neighbourhood gem. The atmosphere is relaxed and the customer service is fantastic. Bossman Jacques is so friendly and makes the best cocktails so make sure you order a couple! I highly recommend the tapas - they are delicious and dont forget to order dessert - it varies week to week i think but i managed to get the cheesecake sandwich and it was to die for.
We were bewildered. We left questioning why we hadn’t visited this place earlier, bellies full. About Spicer sits halfway between casual cool and seriously wonderful. The menu has been designed to please even the fussiest of eaters, while simultaneously turning the Saturday brunch selection into promises of sharing with the rest of the table.

In Woollahra, a very stylish part of town, you will find this trendy little eatery on the corner of Queen and Spicer Streets. Welcome to About:Spicer!. It’s like a revamped terrace house and the atmosphere is certainly warm and also very inviting. There are some tables set up on the small outdoor verandah and inside there’s a cosy room to the side of the entrance.
I tried every Café in Queen Street on my way to work and Spicer Street Café was without a doubt the winner. They have amazing coffee and the nicest staff you can imagine. Always makes my day. Make sure to go before 9 and get a fresh and oven-warm muffin.
Loved it. Don't even act like this place doesn't have amazing coffee. Rocked up at 11, no wait, great service. Food was delicious. Fantastic. #brunchorlunch

Best in Woollahra. Love the coffee, breakfast (shakshuka and cilbir are to DIE FOR and the muffins are quite good too) and lunch (trout salad and poached chicken sandwich). Definitely always go for seconds with coffee. As far as cafe's in Woollahra go, this is my fave!
YUM!. Well, used to be until it changed hands. Now the food isnt as consistently great like it used to be. Shashuka is to die for. Om nom.
Great little cafe with yummy baked beans and fresh ingredients. Cash only though, so come prepared.
Loved it!!. What a fabulous boutique Cafe! staff were very helpful, coffee was delish and food was to die for. Will be going there a lot more. Thanks Spicer, keep up the great work!
Weeky favourite. Just had my weekly breakfast at Spicer Street Cafe. Should try the shashuka eggs - Awesome!! Same crew as always. Keep up the good work guys :)
Cute Fab Place. Have been coming here over the years for the great coffee and friendly staff. This little gem dishes up some uber fresh organic lunches and my friends are always delighted by the quality of the food and service.
My boyfriend and I came here everyday with our poodle. Great coffee, great chicken sandwich, lovely owners :)
A cozy delight. First time at spicer this morning, despite being run off their feet the staff were incredibly helpful. The cilbir - poached eggs with yoghurt, paprika and fresh mint had my partner grinning in delight. We'll be back!
Balcony. Quality coffee and nice easy breakfast with a balcony or funky dining area makes this a great place for Mums or business people. With it now having changed hands, Spicer St will be watched carefully by patrons.
Good luck Ian! We are looking fwd to seeing you pull this one off.
Has the perfect combination. Great service, perfect coffee and food that is consistantly fantastic !!
A tiny gem. Petite in the extreme, this cafe does fab food with a Turkish twist. Brekkie is a highlight.
