Review Emerald Chinese Restaurant - Woonona

Food is good but how the lady in charge speaks to her staff is terrible. I have been here a lot and the last time we came the lady in charge was yelling at the waitress in front of everyone. There was only our table and one behind us but it was quite bad. We’ve had that same waitress a handful of times and she is a great waitress, very lovely. Just a shame to see.

Very disappointing, we order home delivery, prompt.. but it at least a day old. Reheated and dry. "SPECIAL FRIED RICE" just rice with one prawn...Its either great, but even on a friday, wet cold night..binnable.

Reasonable food, okay service. The spring rolls were a bit oily and the dim sims smaller than expected. Honey chicken well made and the fried rice tasty. Clean setting.

The staff are friendly. The food good and hot and i used the food voucher there they were really helpful

Last night ordered delivery over the phone and experience d the worst customer service ever and from the manager no less. My family and I have been loyal customers from day one when the Emerald opened on the Prince's Hwy Corrimal, we will never order food from this restaurant again...

We were regular customers, but no more. We are absolutely appalled by our takeaways. From half full containers, to hardly any sauce. It also seems there trick is to put heaps of onions in there, so for $16.50, you actually hatdly get a decent size meal. I recommend everyone go elsewhere!!!!!!!!

We visited for the first time last night. We were highly impressed how quickly we go our yummy meal. We had a function to attend, and asked on arrival how long it may take to receive our meal. It was served in approximately 10 minutes....we were so happy. Thank you so much, we really appreciated to quick and friendly service.

Awesome customer service great food me and my boyfriend have being going there every Thursday for over a year now and we still enjoy the food.

Normally is great food.... just had the worst meal from here... don't order the sizzling beef and peeking sauce... is only onion and carrot!!.. with a very very little amount of beef thrown in... and steamed dims sims..6 for $8.00... they are as big as a 20c piece...!! Worst meal I've ever had from here!!...

We love all the dishes either eat in or takeaway. Honey chicken is always crisp and lots of flavour in every dish. Our favourites are King doo pork, Garlic prawns/curry prawn, combination dishes always have lots of meat & veges. A casual quick and friendly environment.

Best Chinese in town. Iv been going here for years,even when they were in corrimal. There food is great and the staff are very friendly.

Had chicken chow mien and chips friends had chicken curry and chicken Szechuan all of which were eaten. Food was cooked to a very good standard and we would be very happy to eat there again.

First time for my family as our son wanted Chinese. I normally love Chinese food but I found the ice burg lettuce very wet it hadn’t been spun. Certain dishes a bit bland and the banana fritters which is one of my favourites didn’t taste right to me. I will go back as I would like to give it another go. The staff were lovely.

Tonight I got home to find a missing meal from our order, excuses for their mistake and then after two trips to the restuarant I go home to eat cold food and I found a stone in my food. I have never complained or written bad review but someone please explain how a stone ends up in someone's food if it has been on the floor? We want be back !!

my family eat there or order take away never had a problem the boss and staff have always been very pleasant we enjoy their food and will continue to eat their its better than the joint across the road

Absolutely horrible. Ordered food after a 13 hour drive from Byron. Spent $41 and got vegetables swimming in sauce and a handful of noodles (that's usually used in salads or as a garnish) Should be ashamed to serve food like this. What a disappointment.

Must be a new chef the food has really gone down hill. Very disappointed won't be back

i ordered a home delivery , i gave the delivery boy $50 , he said he didn't have change and would come back in 15 minutes with my change i said OK he never came back i rang up the next day and spoke to the owner and what a waste of my time that was. the meal wasn't all that great i was ripped off.

Food is good even though it took a while to get to our table also didnt like how staff were treated

Use to go there a bit. No longer. Packs have jumped $18 and now containers are only half filled. Not happy

Not happy tonight! Ordered pick up. Got the wrong entree. Then, my husband found a metal scraping about an inch long in his food! The food has gone downhill in the last year or so. I have decided not to risk it again. I won't be back, and I'm a local. Will go elsewhere next time!

Delicious Service was terrific and staff pleasant Foods was as I said delicious and reasonable priced .
