Great food, great coffee and beautiful staff. Cant fault anything! Staff were happy to veganise my food also......bonus! Thanks, keep up the great work.
Fantastic place with friendly service. David is the absolute best barista, took my mum and she's still raving about the coffee he made her. And they make my coffee with zymil!!! Highly recommend.

Just sat the scorpion burger challenge and become victorious. Great menu and drinks, but most of all great friendly people.
Great spot to sit and have a coffee. Very friendly staff and quite dog friendly. Recommend for sure
One of the best, most satisfying burgers I've ever had. Fantastic. I'll be a regular.
Love this place. Its the best place to go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Love Codys cafe Manor Lakes friendly people love there food 🥘 and cuppichinos as well lots of. Fun hey fantastic
Absolutely love coming here with my husband and son. The staff are absolutely amazing and always find time for a chat and to see how Lachlan is going. Food is the best. Keep up the fantastic work
Codys cafe is amazing those pork ribs were to die for. went there tonight for my birthday and happy to say I will 100% be coming back my family and I enjoyed all the food and your service was great thanks for the great night
Love to come here for meals & coffee it's a warm and friendly atmosphere and I'm always amazed at how often the menu is refreshed. A great place for people who get excited about food & flavour
Absolutely love this joint. A must try for all good food lovers. A great range and selection
Best food ever.. Top staff, great service. Highly recommended you get along and pay a visit to Chris and his team of legends.
Had a coffee and muesli this morning with yogurt and berries - such an AMAZING fresh start to the morning! Awesome service, great coffee and spectacular food. Thanks for the experience and great start to the day! :)
Cody's has really picked up their game and become a local gem! Their customer service has improved ten fold, I'm always greeted with such courtesy. The food is delicious, and the chef has now included much better options. Our favourite is the cheeseburger and the philly cheese steak roll. Highly recommend dining here, great atmosphere and food.
The coffee at Cody’s cafe is delicious. The ambience is great too for a lazy Sunday brunch with family. Love the food, it’s delicious and fresh.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat, Chris the owner is so nice, thank you for an amazing meal this place has food of a restaurant but a feel of a cafe
This venue has prime location and could be making a killing. It just needs a little attention to detail, some elbow grease and More tables. Instead, I felt it lacks effort and just 'is there'
The coffee skills could definitely use some work on, but the tap beer was good. The challenge means are spectacular but I felt let down by the price of burgers that come without fries. You have to order those separately, and then simply adding sauce to the side as a common courtesy was skipped.
Got some great foundations but it stops there.
A great cafe in the heart of Wyndham Vale ,one of our favourite, you got check it out when you are in the area, awasome and friendly servies, burgers are definitely speciality.it's highly recommend when you are in the area😄😃
We finally got to visit Cody's cafe and we weren't disappointed. From presentation to flavour to customer services waitress were warm , friendly and welcoming, we had sweet potato hash and the wild mashroom and the were delicious!!! We definitely go back and be regular customers. Keep up the great work guys😃
Have been to Codys Numerous times and must say that they have a great variety of food and at a very high quality but as a burgaboy I love their epic burgers. From their on the menu Barnyard burger and satay chicken burger to my extreme and custom designed Parma burgers and beef burgers. The ingredients are to a high quality and cater for anyone with vegetarian and gluten free options. Also they have the worlds most popular chilli's and they are all available in store. I have tried their Code 1 burger which is the baby brother to the all mighty Scorpion burger and must say that's hot enough for me but for those who like they challenge you can win the meal for free and have you name and picture on the Wall of Flame 🔥🔥🔥
🍔Check them out for a killer feed🍔

Went to breakfast on Mothers Day, impeccable service, great food. There were 6 of us in our group, and not a single mishap. My poached eggs, bacon, tomato and garlic mushrooms were one of the best breakfasts I have EVER had. My 6 year old son even dropped his cutlery and the server was there in a split second with fresh cutlery. Very highly recommend this fantastic little Cafe.
Ordered a jack n barn burger and my partner had a Chicken Parma.. both meals didn't disappoint. Can't really fault anything here. Will definitely be back.

The food is good enough, with a good variety. For being in a shopping centre is good enough. They have a vague idea of what an espresso is (it's not that) but the coffee is good. We were pretty much the only people in the premise and they were painfully slow, and that is not good. All in all they have a good base.
The Venue
Cody's Cafe is situated in Manor Lakes Shopping Centre, and is large, bright and welcoming. Unlike some of the newer cafes springing up in retail centres, it's not super-modern, or particularly fancy (no hipster quirks here!) but it's clean, comfortable and spacious.
The menu is really well priced, with options to suit all budgets. It has a wide range of all-day breakfast and lunch options, and the cafe opens in the evenings with an extensive menu featuring pastas, salads, a huge range from the grill and some amazing looking burgers....

Came here with friends about a year and a half ago and thought it was okay, not good, not bad, just okay. Came here the other night with the same friends and was definitely impressed. I got the barnyard burger and it was excellent. A little too much as I couldn't finish it but I really enjoyed it. Not sure what the other people on Zomato are talking about re: cleanliness and service, both the cleanliness and service by staff were excellent. It's a bit out of the way from Hoppers Crossing but if ever in Wyndham Vale this place is definitely on the menu.
Great atmosphere, great food, great wine...Service at its best. Really like the layout of the place. Its also quit which gives u the chance to have a conversation. They even do take away. Will definitely be back...👍
Came with the entire family and walked away very happy to have spent Father's Day lunch here. The staff were very friendly and prompt. I ordered the Double Triple burger with chips. Given how big this burger was, I could have passed on the chips which were $3.50 extra. The two meat party's were not over cooked or dry, and the American cheese was melted perfectly. The bun was toasted and the salads were fresh. I couldn't get through this burger, so come with your appetite or a decent hangover! My husband ordered the fish and chips, and his only criticism was the Tartar sauce was bland, like it was missing something. My brother order some monstrosity of a burger...just huge!!!! I would definitely be re-visiting this place next time I'm in the area.
food is amazing and the chefs are always happy to customise any meal to your likings and the coffee's always on point its a must stop if you're in the area
What a burger! The guy known for Melbournes hottest burger (I can attest to that) also builds em big! This was literally Chef Chris Codys wild inner self inventing mayhem. A little bit of everything - and most of it was beautiful! Some I wouldn't odder again like the venison patty.
I was on a simple mission. I was in Werribee for the first time and needed a caffeine fix and I need it fast! Not sure about the food but the coffee was fine, no complaints at all.
10/10 restaurant ! Staff are always on point kitchen deliver a amazing meal every time ! Very bubbly staff recommend codys for anyone !
Keep up the great work guys
The staff are friendly and professional. As a regular customer they have my coffee on the go when they see me coming through the door and the menu has enough variety to cater to my whims without being overwhelming.
The food is consistently good and for our Sunday breakfasts my friends and I agree it is relaxing and good value.
The heart hammer. 4 x beef patties 6 x american cheddar cheese 5 x bacon brie cheese onion rings tomato aioli. Massive burger great tasting the patties were awesome all the elements worked well together. I recommend this place
Cody’s Café. What can I say..? I actually thanked the lady at the cashier after I demolished my burger and told her how delightful it was.
In fact, I almost jumped across the counter to hug her- it was that great.
Menu was impossible to choose from, everything looked so delicious. I am an absolute FIENNDD for Mexican (sometimes when I eat out for breakfast, and the café permits, I will 9 times out of 10 order nachos for breakfast.) Anyway, that aside- the word ‘Jalepeno’ caught my eye for my Mexican fetish and my eyes lit up when I saw this Mexican burger.
Perfectly toasted bun (and I MEAN perfectly toasted, grilled chicken, smashed avo and a homemade salsa of tomato, capsicum and jalepenos etc finished with a creamy perinaise to compliment this glorious burger.
The only thing I could fault (and this is me being picky) was that the tomatoes fell out of the burger- but hey! It’s me-hic-an!! It’s supposed to be messy!
10 out of 10 guys! I wish I was a local. Because I am loco for this burger!
I love love love that this place has almost an entire menu of gluten free options! I had the Cody's burger and it was delicious and huge! Great chips too! Gluten free brownie is divine! One staff member is really good, the others have no idea how to smile or be of service which is such a shame because it really lets the rest of the experience down. I do recommend a visit though, as long as you don't expect friendly service.
Dear johngoldwell11, you are spot on the food is delicious and well priced. As for the service it's always prompt and polite! I am just wondering since when did staff members have to start answering to customers when they can take their breaks? Whether they choose sit on their phones, smoke or have a coffee at the same premises is up to them. As I saw this matter her apron was not on at this time.
Kind regards long term customer
Wow Foodie1 maybe we should come to your house and try your food and table service. Out of all the restaurants you have reviewed you don't seem to like much. We have a suburban restaurant /cafe that the owner is the Head chef and has been a chef for 15 years at many great restaurants ( some you have bagged) and puts his heart and soul into his business and maybe if you have a problem with your dining experience maybe you should speak to the owner and not be a key board warrior.
Reply to last comment. Richard,
thank you for your feedback.
We apologize for your experience and i will address this with the staff that were on last night.
I will also have the menu reprinted with the mention of cashews in the Thai mango salad.
I would like to advise you and your partner that given the diversity of ingredients used in cooking now days it is always worth mentioning an allergy as in Asian food there are usually nut oils used, nuts themselves and or ingredients that may contain nut oils.
The staff assured there was no mention of an allergy and offered to replace the meal.
As i have read here you said all that needed to be done was replace the salad.. infact the whole dish needs to be replaced as the pork was touching nuts and had nut oils in the dressing.
For us to be sure of no illness or contamination this is essential to do to prevent anyone getting ill.
So this process would take 15-20 minutes for us to recook the pork and make the salad as everything is made to order.
Also regarding the brisket burger, the slaw is 50% of the ingredients inside the burger so to remove that it will only be the brisket itself.
The fat chips i can assure you are not safeway chips and we buy them as beer battered bad boy chips.
Im not to sure what you were expecting with steamed veg??? thats exactly what they are.. steamed veg and we have found in the past majority of people ordering vegetables dont want butter and oils on them as they are choosing them as the healthier option.
Good since i live locally. I visit the cafe often for breakky.. the coffee is ok and 99 percent of the times i order the bacon and egg wrap which is a must have.. cant complain.. i live locally so its a great place to catch up with a mate for coffee and chit chat.. never tried their lunch and dinner menu, yet.
Been going to Cody's for 2 years, love it yet to have a bad meal. Staff a bit slow to react, but Loved the new special "spicy ribs" was a absolute goal. Please add it to the menu 4 good :)
Delicious food and wonderful service.
Had dinner there recently with a mate who has lived down the road for 3 years and had never visited Cody's. It was a bit of a facepalm moment for him when he realised what he'd been missing all this time.
The chicken kiev and chicken pie were both extremely tasty, and we probably spent 20 minutes chatting with the waitstaff and chef, all of whom were amazingly friendly. Unfortunately I live quite a way from Wyndham Vale because I'd definitely like to eat there again.
And if you've never seen what simultaneous triumph & regret looks like, make sure you check out the photos on the chilli burger challenge wall of fame!
Great food, awesome service. Value for money and more. Will be making this a regular visit.
Great place!. Food is always perfect. Need to put the BBQ ribs back on the menu.
Has got to be one of my favourite cafes, it's fantastic. I got there with my mother's group weekly, they accommodate for 8 mums & 8 prams and have a range of food and beverages to suit all of us. Reasonably priced for the delicious food we get, and the staff are lovely and very helpful. The only fault is having their gorgeous desserts on display so unfortunately you can't resist haha.
Had dinner at Cody's tonight, just like every time we go, the food was absolutely beautiful. Such a hidden gem. Keep up the great service and quality of good food. Just wish I had room for dessert!
Butter milk pancakes with ice cream strawberries maple syrup n bacon ... Yum the best with a coffee
$23 Is to much so I won't be going back
Bring back the old Menu :D. We come here as a family of 4 about once a month. We had always enjoyed our meals. Then when we heard that there was going to be a new menu we where so excited to see what was on it.
We came for dinner the first week it had come out and where so disappointed on what was on it. I ordered the lasagna which was average and my hubby had what was on the special board as nothing on the new menu interested him. We thought we would give it a go one more time and finally found something on the menu to eat and was once again disappointed.
I love that we have a cafe/restaurant so close to home and love going out to tea as a family however we will be waiting again for a new menu before we return again :(
Just had Thai Chilli Soft Shell Crab with rice and steamed greens & thai chilli sauce. Great flavour and really fresh but they forgot the rice and a little bit hard to get a refill
Yummy food!. First time we went there for dinner midweek a couple weeks ago we waited around 40 minutes for our meals... but it was well worth the wait, I must say. They're lucky that their food is so devine!
Went back for lunch this week and again, the food was brilliant.
The chef is awesome! We are definitely going back and will continue going there as long as it stands! Best food I've had from this area in years.
A chef that obviously knows what he/she is doing. Food is tasty and fresh, I order the same thing over and over (the ribs !!) because it really is THAT good. occasionally I can be swayed into ordering a 'special' and I'm yet to be dissapointed.
Not only are the meals fantastic, they host a mean event too, I hired the cafe for an event and the staff worked their behinds off to ensure my event was a raging success. Highly recommended.
innovative and sensational.
Would go again. We had dinner here on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. The service was terrible but the food did make up for it.
Would defiantly go there again.
Great little cafe/restaurant boasting an extensive and reasonably priced menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Would not recommend attempting the infamous "scorpion" super spicy burger without a full glass of milk on standby! :-)
Been here many time everytime excellent service and fantastic food recommend to everyone :)
Love it there. Have been lots if times for breakfast and lunch. Lovely staff! Love supporting small awesome local businesses
OMG such a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great chef and friendly staff. Chicken in white wine sauce, beautiful. Yum
A Little Ripper. What a find. This cafe is fairly new, so we decided to give it a go. Well it is now on our list of favourites in our area. We will certainly be going back and we are looking forward to trying some of the other interesting items on the menu. I was dissapointed that the prawn dish I wanted was not available, but what I had was great.

Been here quite a few times and as a local it's a great place to have lunch (or Dinner) close to home with great food and good customer service, the staff are always up for a chat and I'd recommend this place highly, only negative is the location solely because it means a lot of people don't know this great place exists
Great place. Im a local and im always down there.they do great coffee there and the meals are great.it is a changing menu so ever time you go there it may be different which is great.they serve great qualty food and un like what others post no over the top at all just good food.i had the ribs not long ago and it was one of the best meals i have had i could every eat the bones which was cool lol.all the staff are great and are always friendly and are happ to chat with u which is great .they make u feel very welcome.
i am sad tho i went in a few months ago to try a dish.it was a rabits and charzo pie but i missed it .it was taken of the menu ...plez bring it back lol :)
I didnt like it but.... I have still said that I liked it because they were very interested in my feedback and I think this place has potential. I am a vegetarian and thought that they were really trying too hard with their vegetarian menu. The chef seemed to be going for a really unusual menu, and I did not like the sound of the Italian/Asian fusion dish and something else that sounded quite bizarre. I just dont think that a cafe at a small shopping centre in Wyndhamvale should be attempting fusion food that should probably be at a restaurant in the CBD. I would have much preferred plainer cafe style food like a vegie burger, vegie lasagne, etc...as it would have suited the place more. although I wasnt a big fan of what I ate, I was really pleased to see that the person who I think is the owner or manager wanted my feedback. This cafe is still considerably new so they are still experimenting with their menu a bit and the vegetarian options were brand new (what i had had never been ordered before!). It has potential, I just hope they stick to simpler cafe style food to actually suit the place rather than trying to impress with creative and unusual dishes.
Great Concept. Well I first heard about it in the local newspaper where it mentioned kids entertainment Friday night. They have a guy that makes balloon things, draws caricatures of kids and does magic. So good enough so far.
The menu is not bad, well they do pork ribs with mashed potato so that automatically won me over. Not the biggest ribs for $25 around Melbourne, and lacked sauce, but were certainly tasty. 10/10 for that.
As I said Friday night kids entertainment night, thats well worth it..
Been back twice for lunch. Good news is that everything on the menu is available anytime..so again 10/10 for that.
The have roast rolls for lunch. On the Friday when I was there they had roast pork - it wasn't bad. When I went back on Monday for lunch, the roast roll was pork!! So far the ribs make up for lack of roast roll variety.
So second lunch day there I had the chicken schnitzel roll and they were happy to change a few things around which is also good to see.
One thing I did notice on the Friday night dinner was that a lot of people were coming in for take away coffee. That tells me two things, they do great coffee or there is no where else to get coffee in Manor Lakes..I don't know as I don't drink the stuff.
From memory off the menu, they do ribs, steaks, parma, pizzas, pasta, and roast rolls..
Oh yeah very nice garlic bread as well. 10/10 for that!
So in summary, yes I am a fan, yes I will continue to go there, and yes I recommend and hope this place remains.
The service on the three visits, was 2/3 good..the last day when the male server was there, he was a bit slack..despite it being quiet. But other times, when the owner is there, top notch.
Down side, well good for Wyndham Vale, but a 20 min drive for me. Not much space inside (no fault of there own) and they serve soft drinks in those silly little 250ml bottles...they gotta go!! They do have cans - not sure why I got a bottle..
