Review Kaffeine & Co - Yagoona

Was a pleasure to dine in here. Great seating looking outside. With a very unique table design. The food was beautifully presented and was really flavourful. The Kaffeine special chicken I thought would be dry but was beautiful balanced with the sauce and mashed potato. Detox drink really complimented the creaminess if the chicken. The pasta dish was simple but delicious. A bit too many olives though. But overall great dish. Definitely a place we will come visit again

A amazing spot. The food, ambience, coffee eveything was so on point. I always wanted to try this place and so glad I can for brunch today. The food was fresh, tasty and quick . Coffee was good nailed the latte art. Pineapple juice was amazing 🤩. Will definitely come back to visit

Absolutely great experience, the atmosphere and vibes made it a great experience!! One of my favourite workers, Joanna honestly made it such an amazing experience with her bright smile and personality. Will come back for sure and will recommend this place to all my friends.

A bit of a trek to get to and not many other local amenities in the area that would draw you in. But don't let that deter you as our visit proved to be worth the journey. The decor was rustic and looked in place and well suited for the occasion. We ordered a breakfast platter to share, stack of pancakes and drinks from the vast menu. Note that not all items are on the menu and a quick scan of their social media uncovered hidden menu gems like the lotus biscoff pancakes 🤤. The food tasted fresh, was full of flavour, hit all the right spots and was reasonably priced for a meal of this calibre. Take note, if you are planning to visit with others, one platter is more than enough for 2 persons unless you are feeling extra hungry. Needless to say I will definitely be visiting again in the not so distant future.

𝐊𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨 ☕🤩⁣
I stumbled across this cafe Kaffeine&co on #insta when searching for #brunch spots for my catch up with my beautiful girls! They were already warned the night before that i'm bringing my camera to brunch and nothing makes me happier than the support I get from my friends when we're out eating. Everyone will actually hold their hunger till I get my perfect shot 🥰⁣ They were so stressed when I told them they had to be hand models today. Swipe to the last shot to see how nervous one of them was, hand over the chest and everything 😂😂😂
⁣
Upon arrival on a busy Saturday morning, we were seated almost instantly. Dishes ordered:⁣
- Salmon Croissant Benedict⁣
-Kaffeine Breakfast ⁣
- Knafeh Toast ⁣
- Two coffees and green juice ⁣
⁣
Total bill= $88.50 💰⁣
⁣
The highlight for me was the croissant since the pastry was not too sweet which complimented the smoked salmon very well. Egg was perfectly cooked. ⁣
⁣
On the breakfast platter, one of the eggs was unfortunately overcooked 😪 but I still really enjoyed the beef rasher and everything else, especially the labneh 😜 YA GIRL LOVES HER DIPS! ⁣
⁣
The knafeh toast for me was nice but we waited to long to eat it so the ice cream was just liquid at this point. I would return to try other dishes on the menu! ⁣

Kaffeine & Co’s Knefeh Balls have been on my foodie to do list for a looooong time. I loved the crispy outside and the soft delicate cheese inside, but I took too long taking photos to eat them hot and really gooey. Rose water can be polarising, but I didn’t find the rose water syrup overwhelming and thought it all worked perfectly together and looked absolutely beautiful! The Americano Brekky Burger also really hit the mark for me. It’s the perfect combo of beef rashers, a hash brown, fried egg, jack cheese and BBQ sauce. There’s no bacon at this cafe, but you won’t miss it if you’re a bacon fan as the beef rashers were just like bacon. Great coffee, lovely friendly service. Looking forward to returning as they have so many stunning looking dishes on the menu!

Great acai bowls and great location. Love the parrots as well. Service could be faster.

Food was delicious. Chips were very crunchy. Service was quick. Coffee was good

Had the salmon benny. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the bread was super nice. Service was relatively quick and staff were friendly!

Very nice seating area, with an open window (perfect when visiting on a cool evening) and rustic decor to the restaurant. The food was great too, I ordered the Chicken Fungi, Lemon & Mint juice and Belgian Waffles later for dessert. The chicken fungi was a definite 9/10, my only complaint would be the portion sizing for the chicken was just too big! The lemon & mint juice was unfortunately a solid 3/10 for me. It tasted nothing like lemon & it had waaaay too much crushed ice - leaving little to no juice to drink. The belgian waffles, or should I say waffle (yes, one!) was a whopping $16-17 and was a basic end to a good dinner.

Another good place for breakfast brunch and coffee.. Good quality food in a decent environment worth trying. The burgers and chicken fungi especially stands apart.

I went to this restaurant specially for their knafeh and Nutella balls but dint get a chance to try it because it says that they close at 4 pm on Mondays and whn I reached there it was just 2:45pm I was told that the kitchen was closed..and I could only order from the drinks menu or the counter food ..it was not even 3pm and I had to leave ! I have never been to a restaurant where they close the kitchen an hour before their closing time🤔🙄 very disappointed with the service!

Was good experience except the southern fried chicken burger bun was stale.lemon n mint juice was refreshing. Quiet busy on labour day so took abit of time to get our meal.$60.00 for 2 people excluding deserts

Wow wow wow!! Not sure why this cafe is rating so bad on here but is now one of my fav cafes in Sydney. Amazing menu. Amazing customer service. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy days. Order up a plate of knafeh balls and thank me later. I’ll be back again and again

Bit of a belated review, but I had it in the back of my mind to write one since it was a memorable experience visiting Kaffeine & Co. It was surprisingly busy but I did visit on a Sunday around lunch time. The place was tidy and very cute.

I give the place a 3/5 for their service - despite having no vegan options on the menu (which I could not have found out beforehand as there is NO menu online! If you want more customers, this is a must.), they made a bruschetta and the waiter said they could throw in a side of mushrooms, which he graciously did after some prompting.

My friend ordered the entree and I think it was a prawn linguine? She said the sauce for the latter was too spicy, but I quite liked the sauce. And the calamari rings looked nice and crunchy/fresh. Presentation was a bonus. :) Oh, and we also ordered Soy Chai Lattes which were beautiful. Oh, and some sweet potato fries!

I had been meaning to try Kaffeine & Co ever since I saw their knafeh balls on Instagram. I visited this place for the first time today but was quite disappointed. The cafe is situated on a small strip of shops in Yagoona. I found it easy to find parking and the cafe itself is spacious with ample seating inside and out. It is beautifully decorated and appeared very clean. The knafeh balls were not on the menu unfortunately so I opted for the chicken fungi and a coffee instead. My partner ordered a chicken parmigiana and a watermelon mojito. I also ordered extra mushroom sauce on the side which they forgot. The food isn't anything spectacular. It is very standard cafe food yet over priced. We spent $66 altogether which is a tad more than I would like to spend on lunch. I only found out after I ordered my food that the knafeh balls were available but weren't on the menu. Out of the three staff that I had encountered, only one was helpful and polite, the other two weren't attentive and I felt as though they were rude by slamming the utensils on the table and I felt rushed to order. I wouldn't visit again because of this poor experience which is unfortunate because this is the only brunch/lunch place close to where I live.

Decided to try this place out because of their knafeh range! It is not on their menu, so you have to ask the waiter to order it. Both dishes are $17 each. There is a decent amount of seating for both indoors and outdoors. We came at 15:30hrs and was told that kitchen was closed at 15:00hrs, they probably should mention this in their opening hours. They don’t have their own website, but they have instagram and facebook.

The knafeh french toast was really good! It wasn’t too sweet and the textures + ingredients just worked very well together! There was just enough cheese to balance with the toast. The knafeh cheeseballs were ok, the cheese didn’t have a strong flavour but it didn’t have that knafeh taste to it. It was very filling and for both dishes you could taste the rose petals - which reminded me alot of the black star pastry strawberry watermelon cake.

The service was ok, waiters aren’t as attentive. But price range is average.

This place has a 1 star rating due to the long 1 and a half hour wait I had for just a beef wagyu burger and a scotch fillet sandwhich. Ontop of the long wait the food had no flavour and tasted burnt. Really unsatified and dissapointed and wasted a good $75 for food that was yuk.
I guess overall I was happy with the experience, but a couple of letdowns that changed the experience dramatically. The food itself was really good ! The corn fritters and seafood linguini were delicious and worth a try if you decide to go.
One major letdown was the over priced menu and the drinks that we ordered. The protein shake was pretty much half foam, the chocolate flavour was barely even there and ‘banana’ was three slices on a skewer ! 😡. The coffee quality was also a letdown.
So to sum it all up just go for the food and nothing else 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pancakes: 😁 Great
Seafood Linguine: 😍 Amazing
Steak Sandwich: 😁 Great
Corn Fritters : 😍 Amazing
Watermelon Mojito : 😊 Good
Iced Mocha : 😕 Okay
Protein Shake : 😕 Okay
Service : 😍 Amazing

Overall experience was great ! Loved the service from the waiters and the wait for food isn’t long. The Seafood Linguine was by far the family favourite. The corn fritters were probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The presentation of the food was also beautiful. Good place to check out or just grab some coffee.

Food is pretty good, drinks are not so much. The food came out really quickly and the service was nice. Seafood linguine is amazing. Add chili and it makes a huge difference though!

The restaurant has a nice rustic set out with tables inside and outside. It’s a cute set up for a local cafe if you are in the area. We were waited on quite quickly and drinks came out quick but our meals took about 45 minutes to come out and the cafe was not busy at all. My meal did not come out at all and when we asked the waiter he said they did not know I had ordered. When my meal did come out (1.5 hours later) it was quite disappointing, the menu said stuffed zucchini flowers but the meal was basically fried, rock hard zucchini stems and the warm yoghurt was off putting. We also ordered no aioli on our haloumi burger but it came drenched in aioli which was disappointing. On the plus the fruit mocktails were delicious and very refreshing and had a very large and interesting range of flavours!

Friendly busy cafe that has many options to choose from. Service was fast and efficient and the coffee was good. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Needed a break and a sugar hit after picking up some furniture and headed to Kaffeine&co. Moderately sized trendy cafe and decided on the waffles which were served with strawbe and ice cream. Service was fairly quick but us a party of 3 was asked to sit on a smaller table when a party of 2 was given a bigger table. Not a bad brunch/lunch option if in the area.

Ordered the Chicken Fungi and Lamb Cutlets along with the Lychee Mojito and Unicorn (mocktail) as drinks.

Chicken Fungi - Was okay, chicken was slightly dry. Expected it to be more flavorful but the salad and sauce were okay. Fries though were done well as they were thick and crispy.

Lamb Cutlets - Truffle mash was very good. However the lamb portions were quite small and contained lots of fat. Wouldn't get this again.

Lychee Mojito - Tasted very diluted and watery. Would not recommend this as it was quite a let down.

Unicorn - This drink clearly stood out from everything else and really saved the meal. Looked and tasted amazing - definitely would get this again.

Despite a couple of flaws, the food was presented nicely. Atmosphere was cosy and the overall setting feels comfortable. Will most likely come back a second time.

This place is beyond a joke... I had requested a number of times for a menu on Facebook from their supposed marketing person "Samantha" attitudes like sorry didn't respond I have kids, to in the marketing media person and don't work in store. How is this person allowed to promote the cafe online but fails to respond to a simple request of a menu. 3 of us (friends) asked again and again.
So here my friends is the menu... I'm sure there are people who have been curious on what's on offer but the place won't assist the curious customer. Their food is over priced and wasn't even that great! Please save yourself from going. What may appear lovely on camera, does not taste that nice.

Went out to just drink at the cafe and it took 30 minutes and two order for the staff to realise that we had ordered. Also the prices of the drink were way over priced.

Went today for brunch. Décor is very trendy and stylish. Was warmly greeted by lovely staff. Ordered eggs benedict with salmon which was delicious. Coffee was perfect and had warm Banana Bread which was amazing. The whole experience was great. You can tell the owner, chef and staff are passionate about the business and love food. Food was brought out quickly and was full of high quality ingredients and perfectly presented. I would highly recommend this place tucked away in a back street of Yagoona. I will definitely be back to try the Avo Smash that looks scrumptious!.

This cosy cafe located in a nice modern looking corner in Yagoona with young and family crowds, offered me the best French Toast I ever had! Ever!

The French Toast has a nice blend of strawberries, berries, vanilla ice cream. The dough is majestically filled with chocolate as well. The syrup was also amazing (I think it was cranberry?). Overall, very yummy dish. I was also amazed that the toast itself had no "strong egg" taste which I have found to be a common turn off in French Toasts.
The presentation was also lovely as you can see from the pic :) Coffee was top notch as well. (Forgot to take a picture, but barrister sent me a lovely heart shape on my Latte)

The menu offers a selection of items, all of them Halal. It is not a 30 pages menu, this is a cafe afterall. But the variety is good.

Prices and portions sizes are reasonable.

Service was on time and friendly.

I will be coming back!

Scores over 5
Overall: 5
Location: 4
Ambiance: 5
Menu: 4
Food: 5
Value: 4
Service: 4

#halalsydney #halal #foodblogger #foodreview #halalfoodie #foodie #sydneyfood #sydneyeats#yagoona #frenchtoast #café #kaffeine #sweetfood #brekkie

Went to have lunch I had the chicken fungi with chips and salad and a berry frappe my boyfriend had the chicken wrap with chips and protein smoothie. My meal was delicious and presented beautifully. His meal he said it didn’t have any flavour and was quite bland. Our drinks were refreshing and perfect for this hot summers day!! overall I would recommend this cafe as it’s trendy and would definitely like to try the other options on the menu😊

Been there twice for brunch and coffee at night with girl friends. Love the environment. Loved the chilli prawn linguini (so so so good) and grilled salmon with carrot/sweet potato puree. But the grilled plate was abit let down, portion was way too small. But I will come back for the chilli prawn linguini next time all by myself. At night for desserts and coffee, pancakes seem lack of sugar and dry. Waffles were good. Belgian Hot Chocolate was so good, unfortunately timing was so wrong that we already finished our desserts first but our hot chocolates were still yet to arrive and had to wait for another 10 to 15 minutes more. While we were waiting for the hot chocolate a waitress came to collect the finished dessert plates and wiped the table with a very smelly table cloth and that smell was strong and stayed there, kinda turned off and we still had to sit there to wait for our hot chocolates. Overall not too bad, will still go back again.

Wow! Tried this place a few weeks ago after a recommendation from a friend and I was very impressed, to say the least! I ordered one of the breakfast boards and not only was the food both filling and amazing, but customer service was also great! The food arrived in a timely manner, and staff were very friendly! Highly recommend; definitely will be going again!

Headed here for breakfast this morning and I really enjoyed my dish of grilled halloumi, roasted baby truss tomatoes, salad and a poached egg.

Coffee is by Will & Co and decent enough.

Hubs got scrambled eggs, sausages and halloumi and it was a very generous serving.
Yumm Food
We ordered lemon lime and bitters - told 10 mins later that they didn't have any. Ordered the chicken fungi which had literally 3 table spoons of sauce.. not impressed The calamari was nice but also only a smear of sauce. Finally the chilli prawn linguini was nice. We let them know via fb, but the ‘manager’ didn’t respond very nicely and deleted our feedback soooooo 😐
