Cute cafe. Delicious food. Hubby was extremely happy with his bacon and eggs. Loads of bacon just the way he likes it.
This is a real highlight in the Yarra Valley.
I came here at the end of winter on a day trip up from my local area and cant believe i almost missed this place.
Its located in an old home - and the details just add to the history. I love that there are different rooms and its all so cozy. We had a fire burning that day and it was divine. Made for lovely photos too.
My mum had a chicken ceaser sandwich which was good. I had a pumpkin, leek and sweet potato soup with bread. Absolutely fresh and lovely. The scones with jam and cream were so yummy too.
Its not often i find places i would definitely return to outside of the city. But i will be back to this one. Definitely eat here when in the area. Good food and ambiance you cant get anywhere else.
In a quiet part of the world this place is a great little find. Sitting in the garden in the su for breaky was perfect. The menu has a grea range and the servings are healthy. Fruit toast was decent while the poached eggs with Avo and bacon was great.
Coffee was also really good.

I'm surprised that this place doesn't have a higher rating- I enjoyed my breakfast here! I had the vegetarian breakfast with bacon added as an extra. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful, the meals and coffee came quickly, and for the amount of food we received, it was very reasonably priced. I've often been to restaurants with a higher rating than they deserve, but this was quite the opposite - the only thing I would change would be to sharpen the knives
I call in at this cafe every few weeks, when I'm in Yarra Glen. The staff are helpful, the service is quick, and it's a good place to have a simple lunch. The specials board usually has something like a soup and a tart with salad, and there's an interesting lunch menu. I think it closes mid afternoon, but not sure about that. The thing that drew me to the place originally is that it is dog friendly, an essential aspect on a sunny day when you must get the dog out of the car. One of my favourite places to eat when I have my dog with me. Shaded courtyard or shaded porch suitable for me when the dog's with me. If she stays in the car, I go into the comfortable interior and sit near the log fire (artificial, gas). Highly recommend.
Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon, and really enjoyed the soup special and Devonshire tea. Service was excellent and good fresh made. Lovely fire (gas) created a nice atmosphere.

Great place to spend quality time with friends and family
The warran glen cafe is set right in the bush land above the river and is so nice to sit outside and relax. Their coffees, breakfasts and foccaccias are brilliant. You may have to wait a little for service, however, it is the kind of place you go to sit and relax for a while so it didn't faze us. We will definitely be returning
