Honestly, in my opinion this place consistently makes the best pizza in Melbourne.
So many vegan options it becomes hard to decide what to order but rest assured they're all great.
They even have a selection of vegan wines and that is above & beyond my expectations.
Highly recommend this establishment.

My all time favorite Italian restaurant in Melbourne. Melbourne's best Pizza! I've eaten here many times and always leave satisfied and happy. The Pizza bases are crispy thin crust, traditional, perfectly cooked and great every time and the pasta's are amazing especially the Lasagna. Can't top the food and friendly staff.

Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The amatriciana linguini was the highlight, with beautiful and fresh pasta and just the most delightful napoli sauce I've ever tried. Quattro formaggio with prosciutto was also very tasty, but would've liked to have had the prosciutto placed on the pizza after it came out of the over as it was a little too touch and chewy. Overall, very please with the food and service. Will recommend to all friends and family
My friends and I were looking for a meal before our movie tonight and chose this place on a whim. We’re so happy we stumbled upon it. First of all the place is decorated so beautifully, but the reason I came her to write a review was the pizza. My god the pizza was so good. Before we even finished our first slice of the ‘V-Burn’ we contemplated ordering one for the road. Everything was great, the atmosphere, the dessert, the staff, but I can’t stress this enough, that pizza will definitely bring us back.
We had the quattro fromaggio pizza, the pollo funghi rigatoni and a mixed salad. Everything was wonderful. The pizza was perfect mix of cheeses and napoli and the pasta was creamy but not too heavy (it needed a touch of salt, but im always glad when I can add that myself). The mixed salad was dressed lightly a perfect accompaniment. The house red is a shiraz from Adelaide hills and was lovely as well. The staff were lovely and attentive. All around, great experience.
I eat here regularly as its local and i’m always pleased with the quality of the food. Very good value for money with a broad and consistently good menu.
My friend and I visited for dinner last night after getting the Groupon deal, and had a great experience.
The team were very friendly, attentive and served us quickly. The waiter knew that we had a reservation and Groupon voucher. The restaurant itself is small and cosy, yet does get quite busy so it's probably best to book.
We had the Garlic & Cheese crust to start with which was so tasty and not overloaded with cheese (which they often are). It was a good size too, we didn't finish it so that we could save stomach space for the mains. We shared the Cream & Mushroom Rigatoni which was divine. The sauce was addictive as it was so full of flavour, creamy and had large chunks of chicken and mushrooms. We also had the Margherita Pizza which was faultless also - one of the best I've had in Melbourne.

We chose this venue due to it being in the entertainment book but even if you don’t have a membership they have some great movie and pizza deals with the nearby Palace cinema. I went for the Lamborghini which is chicken with avocado, cheese and basil pesto and sundried tomatoes (which I swapped for fresh tomatoes- do not give me salty sun dried anything uggh).
My friend and I also couldn't resist sharing a pasta and had a creamy chicken and avocado fettuccine (clearly it was a big night for avo and chicken, one of life's greatest pairings). I absolutely loved everything. Their flavour combinations stray from tradition and are interesting and exciting. I'm calling it authentically innovative

My Instagram was flooded with friends in Europe living the life eating and drinking on holiday so I got to Italy as quickly and cheaply as I could with pizza and pasta. I was intrigued to try another one of their gourmet pizzas. I ordered the tandoori chicken pizza which was fantastic. It’s super close to the train station which means you can take advantage of the ability to BYO.
I visited versachis on a Tuesday evening for early dinner. We ordered the eggplant fries, vegetarian pizza and chicken Parma everything was delicious. We enjoyed our drinks too. Our waitstaff was new at the restaurant so didn’t have much knowledge about the happy hour drinks and gave us the non happy hour wine but later informed us about it, but that’s okay they were polite courteous and prompt. I would definitely recommend this place especially for its pizza and we will be coming back soon.

Versachi’s is a little gem that my hubby and I stumbled across a few years ago when I bought a Groupon to use at their restaurant. We loved it so much that we went multiple times after that (even though we live 45 minutes away).
We haven’t been back for a couple of years so I thought it’d be lovely to revisit. The place was better than I remembered. The staff were extremely friendly and although not a small establishment, it leaves a lasting impression.
We both had the meatballs and I’m still telling friends about it days later. They were just AMAZING!!!!Versachi’s is definitely worth the trek out from the burbs and I look forward to visiting more often.

This place does vegan meatballs linguine! It was the best thing i've ever eaten. My non vegan fried tried it and he agreed that it was delicious. Staff was really lovely and one of the waitresses is vegan. Cant wait to return. The rocket salad was also a winner.
One of my go-to Italian places! Impeccable service and great vegan options. I've tried the veganised version of the vegetarian, capricciosa and hawaiian pizza, all which had a great deal of oozing vegan cheese. I've also tried the creamy mushroom pasta dish, which was amazing too!
This place has my favourite pizza I used to get to volcano pizza at least once a week on my recent visit I decided to try the V Burn, if you like anything spicy like myself you must try this, it is delicious! I can’t wait to go back and have it again. The pasta was also nice however the pizzas here are definitely the stand out.
A friend and I were meeting for dinner and we wanted somewhere that had gluten free and vegan options, Versachi's ticked both those boxes! The pizza was delicious and I was very happy with the amount of vegan options they had on the menu. Adding vegan cheese to a pizza was $1.50 extra which I think is a fair price. The restaurant is small and cozy but was really hot for some reason, some air conditioning would've been nice. Will definitely be returning one day!

We have been there several times, and have never been disappointed. Their pizzas are the best in town. Their vegetarian options are amazing. Options are terrific, flavors are delicious, the crust is always crisp, the toppings are amazing. I will keep coming back and recommend to all friends and family. Amazing service, top quality food and very friendly staff as well. I wish I can give them more than 5 stars! Just love this place.

The potato and rosemary pizza is a winner here
Not many people can get potato pizzas right but this joint hits the mark. It’s a vegetarian option but you can always add some meat to it if you feel
Got to love their pizzas and pastas. Their entree garlic and cheese crust focaccia is to die for!
Have tried quite a few of their pizzas and have never disappointed. Pasta is also very well done. If you like some heat with your pasta, I'd highly recommend the matriciana!

One of the most fabulous pizza's we've had in Melbourne. We went twice, and both times it was so good. Garlic pizza is heavenly. Chilli Boombala is exceptional. The kids had the meatball pizza both times. Coffee is great too.
Delightful Italian cuisine from entree to dessert.
Garlic and cheese focaccia was absolutely delicious, nice fresh dough - not too oily, leaving a pleasant, mildly sweet aftertaste. Interesting take on a Quatro Formaggi - saucier than expected, resulting in a really tasty pizza.
Also really loved the Pollo Funghi with gnocchi, flavourful creamy sauce - gnocchi was beautiful. The linguine on the other hand was overcooked.
Would also recommend the tiramisu, coffee was little on the sweet side which I like.
Overall, Versachi's has a strong emphasis on flavour which it does very well. Service was slightly slack for a small restaurant albeit overshadowed by delicious food.
Came in here last night and the food was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly and prompt with my order. The food was well worth it, tried the Chicken Tandoori and the flavour was spot on.

How often have you craved for a hot n spicy delicious pizza which you could customize to suit your fates buds (like up the chilly factor or tone it down a bit, less cheese or more cheese or no cheese - whatever you are craving for).
The guys at Versachi's make awesome gourmet pizzas - of the many hot n spicy pizzas I have my all time favourite is the the V-Burn! They don't call it "our hottest pizza" for nothing!

Best pizza ever! The base was so thin and crispy, it didn't leave that disgusting greasy feeling after. We had the Eureka pizza with goats cheese, prawns and caramelised onion, would definitely get that again, although there are so many more tempting flavours on the menu. The eggplant chips were sooo crispy and yum too!!

We sat outside, giving us a great opportunity to people watch on Toorak Rd. Our server (who I think was the manager) was very helpful and attentive. Food was classic Italian done well, we even had a few apertifs after our meal and overall had a great experience.
This little place is definitely one of the better South Yarra pizza spots. It always smells sensational when you walk in!
I tend to stick to my favorite pizza; the gourmet Matriciana as I love hot salami and olives. The ingredients/toppings are never bland and the base is always cooked to perfection. The pasta is also reliable and the garlic pizza bread to start will have your mates avoiding your breath for the next 24 hours - it's great!
The service is reasonable and the prices also pretty competitive for the area. BYO for $10 corkage means you can branch out across the road at BWS before you come in if you really want!

I didn't want to take a picture because I got delivery and don't think that containers would do this place justice.
I got the fettuccine marinara napoli with garlic bread and garden salad. Tiramisu for dessert.
The pasta I asked to be made Al dente and it was spot on! Seafood was cooked to perfection and you know because the squid wasn't too chewy and scallops didn't just completely melt and you could feel the texture of it properly!
The sauce was amazing! Not too sweet or sour like a lot of Italian places I've been to.
The garden salad is well.. It's a salad.. Haha can't really complain.
The garlic bread I was very impressed with. It's such a small thing, but they took the extra effort to cover it in foil and put it in a cardboard box so ir arrives hot and in full shape!! It took 45 mins to get to me but it was still like it just came out of the oven!
The only thing I didn't really think was great was the Tiramisu. They make it In house apparently. But hey, it was still good! I'm not even a cake person, I was going to get the ice cream but it'd melt before they got it to me hehe

Delicious, very pleasant and wished we could have stayed longer. Attending on a Scoopon deal, we rang to book in and on arriving were greeted warmly by a young waitress and promptly brought water before being handed the menus. The deal included any pasta and pizza as well as an entree. Choosing a garlic pizza, gourmet veggie pizza and, on recommendation by a very polite second waiter, penne meatball pasta, settled back to chat and enjoy the time, and complimentary bottle of red. Entree came out promptly and we were left in peace till finished before the plate being cleared and mains brought out with a very nice break. Pasta and Pizza were both delicious. A flavorsome pizza with a thin base and balanced toppings. The meatballs a firm outside and soft inside, perfect and accompanied by a delicious sauce (compliments to the chef). It was only unfortunate that we were so time limited and had to rush, as the environment was very pleasant without being opulent. The staff very friendly and warm, and as we seated at 6pm, by the time we left a nice buzz of diners had filled the restaurant. The only negative to the night was being told, on seating that we booked under a Scoopon deal, and our waitress saying she didn't think they were valid any longer and going to check. Coming back fairly quicly to say it was fine, but was a slightly awkward start...though completely made up and we don't don't hold that against the venue or waitress. Thoroughly enjoyable night and look forward to coming back, on another scoopon, or not, to enjoy this establishment. Thank you.

Came here for a mid week dinner and whilst the service was a bit slow to start with , things improved when the food came out. Good range of pizzas from basic to gourmet. Good meals and pasta options. Home made range of desserts. And the "House" Sauvignon Blanc was very drinkable!!
Picked up a Scoopon for an entrée, two mains and a bottle of wine for $39. A good deal by any measure. Service was very friendly, the décor is standard "nice" pizza restaurant. The selection of pizzas is great and the ones we tried were really very good. Quality bases and toppings. There is a lot of competition for good pizza, and while this is a solid entry, it doesn't stand out. I would return.

My wife and I have been eating at Versachi's Pizza more many years. I find the service really nice and they understand what their product is. I am a very fussy eater and believe me I have tried all the Pizza Restaurants and I find many of them just cant execute a well made Pizza, its either to greasy or the toppings are sloppy. But what I found different from Versachis is that the base is lovely and crisp and not dripping in oil. The toppings are innovative and REALLY LOVELY, I can tell that they put lots of love into their Pizza and Pasta. So, reading some of the reviews on this page really doesnt ,make sense to me at all, but its part of the tall poppy syndrome, when someone is doing a great job someone will always try and put you down or try and kill your dream.Don't be a hater and trust me, THEY DO GREAT PIZZA AND PASTA < WE LOVE IT - WELL DONE VERSACHI'S for looking outside the box when you make your products. We eat there last night and we will be back again and again. Thanks
The garlic foccacia was to-die-for! Loved it so much and the pastas were good too. Service a bit average but the restaurant was around 2/3 occupied so it's understandable. I would go back for the garlic foccacia again and try the pizzas too!

Good food, but.... The food here is great. always generous in size and well priced. However, the service is not up to scratch. I had a voucher, which I was told I could not use despite not having anything on the voucher saying I couldn't. With pointing this out, they decided that yes I could use it. At the end of the night, we were then told that there was a 15% surcharge due to it being a public holiday, despite this not being displayed anywhere in the restaurant.
Old School Melbourne Pizza. Reminiscent of the Italian restaurants of the 70's and 80's. Good clean family food.
Pizza is cooked in an electric pizza oven on stone not on the conveyor oven which makes a difference on the base .
Toppings are fresh and tasty and pastas are also good. Negative reviews i have read seem to be for lame reasons.

Best Italian restaurant not to miss and great friendly service with a smile. The service and food quality in this place is best in town. Pizza crust was crispy and beautiful. Best food and service specially food never had before !!!!!!!!!. Recommended by friends and we went our all group we ordered pizzaa and some pasta they all enjoyed one of the best in town, we will be back sure they have got full range of pizza even for vegetarian so no one get disappoint, although there were full house they looked after well, food was delicious i tell u no wonder they always busy, highly recommended
The best Pizzaaaa. I went out with my girls gang on Saturday night and we got a big table for 5 people. A restaurant getting busy but we was surprise coz staff very lovely and friendly she came to looked after our table even restaurant was busy and when the food came it made more surprise the pizza and pasta was really yummyyyy. We will be back for sure.
I came here with a scoopon but I don't like the fact that when you ring to make a booking, the first thing they ask you is if you're using a scoopon. I tried making a booking on the same night as I rang but when the guy found out I was using a scoopon he said they're full. I highly doubt that, I think scoopon or not we should all be treated fairly! Besides that, the garlic focaccia was amazing and I will be back for that. Pasta is nice but nothing outstanding. Will probably go back to try their pizza
Amazing pizza!. We've been here 4 times (always on a coupon because we live on the other side of town) and each visit has been pretty much the same. Good service, okay house wine and some of the best pizzas this side of Italy. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked. The Mr Natural is addictive, I could eat one every night and hubby swears the Aussie is just as good.

Came here the other night for the first time. Only just recently moved to the area and had heard a lot about this place! AMAZING!. We used a Scoopon voucher to visit Versachi's Pizzeria for the first time as a night out for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back as full paying customers! The service from the staff was amazing, the food was even better! Overall it was such an amazing experience. Can't wait to go again!!
Convenient and Tasty. We went on a double date with two vouchers from OurDeal. The vouchers got us a garlic bread for each couple to share, a supreme pizza and seafood pasta, plus four glasses of wine. The food probably isn't the best Italian to ever grace our shores and someone may have been a *little* heavy handed with the garlic but if you want cheap and easy in the South Yarra area this place is worth a try.
Best pizza in melbourne. Been about half a dozen times and never disappoints best pizza i have had and i have eaten a lot of pizzas.. all the ingredients are fresh not canned.. Ordered large supreme and as always delicious consistently produce's excellent pizzas .
I had dinner here with my boyfriend the other night. Although it was a bit pricey, we were not disappointed. Romantic setting, amazing food, friendly staff, and the 'Chicken Four Cheese Parmigiana' is to die for.

Great pizza, not so great prices.. Every time we get pizzas from Versachi's we go through the same range of emotions: delicious gourmet pizzas, horrible prices. I'm sad to say it does stop us from going back - we just can't justify it when there's Café Rosco down the road at a fraction of the price.

Absolutely love it!. Ordered from here on a whim after receiving a flier in our letterbox. WOW! So glad we did. The first time we ordered we had three very different pizzas and each one was delicious. Have only tried the pizzas but really cannot fault them. The bases are really nice, crispy and not too thick and the toppings are really original and different to a lot of places out there. Definitely not your standard, generic pizza! Has become a firm favourite with us and I wouldn't order from anywhere else for pizza.

Decided to try Versachi's home delivery tonight after getting a flyer in the mail. We had a garlic foccacia and a Mr Natural..one of the nicest pizzas we've ever had! Definitely on our fridge door now. Impressed by their vego pizza range.
We had a Scoopon voucher valued at $29, which entitled 2 people to a shared garlic focaccia, which was delicious, a glass each of lovely wine, a pizza and pasta of our choice and 2 desserts. All of it was very tasty. They could do more with their desserts as there are only 3 choices and they are all packet, frozen stuff, but they were still tasty. Service was good and it's a lovely restaurant. Fantastic value for this price.
Great food, great service. Went with a voucher and was not dissappointed. Service was fantastic, both waiters were lovely and very attentive. Food was excellent! We had foccacias, pizza and tried all the desserts and they were all great. Noticed the large mains going out to other guests which looked amazing. Will definately be back!
Great Pizza. Went in here not expecting much as the Decor was a little drab. I was completetely taken aback as the waiters were all bright friendly and helpful. The food here was the real winner though I had the Veal Schnitzel with chips and salad- huge but so tasty- my partner had the Vburn(which gave me food envy). The only criticism for me other than the decor is that its quite a small space and got very noisy when room filled up. We'll be back,but next time Im having the pizza.

OK but not amazing. We went here last night for a 3rd time.
We find the service consistently good although last night they were run off their feet and we after ordering our drinks at the start we had to remind them a further 2 times to bring them out. That was pretty poor. Its one thing not having anything to drink during your entree and ask if it has been forgotten but when you're half way through your main and there are no drinks it is pretty annoying.
The garlic pizza was nice to start. Bit heavy handed with the garlic though. My partner had the meatballs with fettucine which he liked. I had the prima vera which was only OK. Left half of it. Woudn't order it again.
Have had mains as pizzas in the past and they were better. Not traditional toppings but still quite nice.
The desserts are my least favourite thing about this place. They are worse than la porchetta! 3 options, all deep frozen lumps of icecream. Where are the fresh cakes? Fruit options? Its likely they feel like they need to have desserts on the menu so they keep 3 options in the deep freezer.
Becoming a favourite!. I initially visited Versachi's as part of a voucher offer a few weeks ago, and my partner and I enjoyed it so much that we have already returned, and we loved it once again! On both occasions we enjoyed great service and received our food quickly.
The garlic focaccia with cheese was a winning starter on both occasions, just the right amounts of garlic and cheese to get the mouth watering! Their pizza seems to be consistently tasty and of a high quality, and the lasagne is delicious (you get a nice big serving with lots of bechamel and a fresh garden salad).
This restaurant is fast becoming a favourite, we will be back!
This is consistently good pizza, we can only comment on take away though as we haven't eaten in yet. Regardless, get the Eureka!
Dropped in as visitors to Victoria after day at Grand Prix. Food excellent, staff great and service first class. When visiting Melbourne again will return.

BEST PIZZA IN MELBOURNE WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! Eureka Prawn pizza and the Quatro (Four Cheese) Pizza are must try items. I tried their creamy mushroom chicken pasta today. Ohhhh...melts in my mouth... Delicious!!! Love it love it love it!!!
It was a really great place to spend christmas eve with some nice Italian food and good wine.
We had dinner at V's tonight on a Scoopon voucher. It was by far the best pasta and pizza we have had in Australia. We at at Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant in Sydney and V's was 100% better. We had a focaccia for starters, the red and a White House wine, both excellent. Mains we had a penne chicken pasta and the prosciutto with kiwi peas. Both 10/10. We ended with the tiramisu ice cream. The service was top notch and we have added this to our favorite Melbourne restaurant list.

Always good. I order from here about once a month. Tonight I had the pancetta and green pea pasta with penne and the garlic crust focaccia. Once again did not disapointment, the pasta was cooked perfect the sauce not too heavy, peas and ham were fresh and lovely. I've always had a good meal from this place, whether it be pasts or pizza and the phone service is really friendly as well.

Dined her on a scoopon on a sat night, the poor waitress was on her own for the night and unfortunately the service was very poor, with waiting to be seated, empty plates in front of us for over 10 minutes, why a company that still offers vouchers would have 1 waitress on a Saturday night is beyond me! The garlic pizza for entree was very salty and could not finish it all. The vege pasta for main was nice but not great, the spaghetti meatballs was the same nice but not a great dining experience. For deserts we had a baci and tiramisu, I was expecting a fresh tiramisu but was the frozen pre made variety. Deserts are lacking they don't offer any other than the frozen variety. Would we dine here again? No wasn't exceptional and the service wasn't up to scratch!
Highly recommend the garlic pizza. We have dinned hear on a coupon and have returned a number of times would Highly recommend this restaraunt. You must try the Garlic pizza the BEST worth going to dine for that!!!!. Experienced and very friendly staff. Thanks for a lovely night will be back soon .
Great Waiters and Food. Unfortunately we waited 25mins for our drinks and 1.25 hours (bcos of our special needs) for our food but the waiters were excellent and very friendly. Especially the Maori fellow.
Pizzas were superb and they catered for our special needs very well.

Good for pizza. Really enjoyed my food at Versachis. The staff member was friendly and attentive (especially when it was quiet) and I was really impressed with the pizza.
Had 2 of their gourmet pizzas - best we ever had! Service was excellent even tho' we went on a voucher!

I'd give them a 7/10. Had a coupon for this place. The garlic foccacia was pretty fast to arrive and tasted really good.. Had both their red and white wines which were at an enjoyable temp. The tandoori pizza was okay a little spicy but the chicken was spot on with the tandoori spices. Their pastas were okay not outstanding but both the chocolate and hazelnut gelatos were amazing and definitely worth it!
Bought a scoopon and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of menu choices! The Lamborghini pizza, tartufo and bacio were fantastic! Great service too! Couldn't have wine and staff was flexible to swap beverage for me. Would certainly recommend this place!
Surprisingly good & tasty food!. Paid a visit with the wife last nite (Sun) using group buy voucher. Had to wait a while to be seated, 10mins for the Starter - Garlic bread. When we tried it - hey this is pretty good stuff! And then 20mins for the Main, but again, were pleasantly surprised when we tasted the food - Seafood Marinara Pasta, "Zac Attack" Pizza. Verdict - these guys know their stuff - really tasty! And the desserts were equally good, Bacio & Tiramisu. Will be back with relos & friends!
Pretty Decent. We came in the door not expecting to much as it was late and this was one of the only places open on the strip and the decor was a little drab. We were pleasantly suprised though. The food was great I had a med chick pizza which was superb, my partner had a mushroom rissotto which she also really enjoyed. The service was efficient and friendly and nothing on the menu was over $23(unheard of around there). All in all very happy, ill be back.
Small restaurant, service was nice and helpful. We ordered a marinara pizza and marinara linquini and salad to share. Food was tasteful, however not extrodinary for the price list.
Came here on a Scoopon Booking. Although difficult to book I realized that is not a large restaurant so fair enough. Honestly couldnt fault this place. My BBQ chicken Pizza was unbelievable and $18 for a large pizza is not expensive for a notoriously pricy area. Service was great, we didn't feel like second class citizens for having a scoopon as we have experienced at other places.
2 and a half thumbs up - great pizzas. Always enjoy the pizzas from here. Our favorites are the al amatriciana and the pescatore - great ingredients, thin and crisp base.

Perfect. These guys make beautiful pizza's and pasta's and have a few other menu options which are great. We have ordered from them quite a few times now and never an issue. They are also great with taking you order. No drama, they have caller I/D so they know who you are and where you're calling from and no need to give your credit card number everytime you order they just confirm that its ok to use that card. Love their pizza's they do a great thin base and I can't fault them. Food quality is lovely

Cheap and easy and good food! Went in for dinner with a group of four. We ordered 3 pizzas and a fettucini pollo fungi. The pizza menu is very broad and they are great pizzas. Thin base and quality toppings. The pasta was also very good. Service here is quick and the staff are pleasant. Desserts were basic but a good finish to our meal. I would return for sure!

As rec by your friendly staff. After ordering we waited over 30 minutes 4 our food, however it was very tasty, fresh & hot and it was nice to see the sea food pieces on the pizza! Attended for a catch up with friends on Wednesday. Best way to describe is it is a hidden gem.
Service was great. The young lady kept our dri ks coming. She was proactive in letting us know what the specials were. Recommended food for us to try. Most importantly, she was polite and friendly.
Food was brilliant. One of the best pizzas I have had for a ling time. We didn't try their pasta dishes but I guess they would have been just as good.
2 minutes walk from the South Yarra train station so no need to drive.

A hidden gem, was here last night and absolutely loved the ambiance, waitress customer service and of course the pizzas and happy hour drinks.
I would highly recommend this place if you're thinking about it but yet to experience it, my top pick pizza is the volcano here so if you like your spices, definitely try that pizza out!
