Deeply kind, altruistic, and beautiful people at the helm of the nicest cafe on earth. The food and coffee are spectacular, and it does intimate and diverse Friday night music gigs that folks will tell stories about for the rest of their lives. The world is a much nicer place with Feedback, it's staff, and it's vast swathe of regulars in it.

Mary an I had a delicious BLT for lunch today. We mentioned we were in a bit of a hurry and the food arrived literally within 5 minutes of placing our order. Great service. The turkish bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was delicious as was the lettuce, tomato and very yummy mayonaisse. Thanks feedback cafe :)

We live in an area that is blessed with plentiful quality dining options but the fish taco's at Feedback cannot be beaten.

After popping into Healthy Self for a coffee and (rudely) being told they were closed, I went across the street to Feedback instead. Staff were incredibly nice, space was cute and low key and the coffee was strong and well-made. They did accidentally serve me dairy instead of soy but all things considered, it was still a positive experience. I guess it's just a good thing I don't have an allergy.

My score 3.5 stars. J & I had a quick lunch here last Monday (7th Jan) before seeing a film at the Sun. Small but groovy interior with an eclectic mix of tables, chairs & decoration - reminds me of cafes in Brunswick St in the late 80's or the Galleon in St.K (which I like). Service is pleasant & laid back (in keeping with the whole vibe of the place). J had the Hillbilly chilli (which she enjoyed) > Excellent round corn chips, nice puy lentils but not particularly spicy. I had Mushroom & cheese quesadillas (which also hit the spot) > Ok salad, nice black beans, thin but tasty quesadillas with a fried egg on top (slightly incongruous but I happily ate it). Both dishes had sour cream which complemented the flavours. Couple of beers were had & I particularly liked the Footscray ale. Most other people were having coffee, milkshakes, snacks, etc. & if we were into them too we probably would have given an extra half star, as it looked like they were going down a treat. A chilled place to hang out & pleasantly pass the time...

The coffee here is food by itself! Love it! Feedback reminds me of the hip little cafes I used to frequent around Ladbroke Grove, London, in the 1970s.
The real taste of Yarraville. Forget the places frequented by the kiddie brigades, and walk right past the snooty places. True Bohemian dining at its raw best.

This is a cute little place run by what seems to be a few friends having a good time. There isn't really anything like it in Yarraville - I haven't been able to find a gumbo anywhere else! Our food was delicious, the gumbo was very tasty and filling. My housemate gets her coffee here every day so that must be good as well :) sometimes there are a few too many kids around and it gets loud but that isn't the fault of the owners. Chilled out vibes. Chilled out food. Chilled out prices.
Hands down my favourite cafe - the coffee and food are always fantastic, but it's the service and friendly vibe that keep me coming back. At Feedback there's always great tunes playing and you're looked after but not fawned over. Best in the west 💛
Laid back and friendly owners made us feel right at home and the classic southern American food is simple and delicious! Fish tacos and gumbo washed down with a couple of beers and I'm a happy man. Will be back for sure.

Amazing Coffee & Food.. I had the fish tacos and my friend the mussel po boy both were utterly fantastic. The coffee was perfect and the staff; laid back and friendly. What a haven this is in Yarraville.
Easily the best coffee in Yarraville. This place has been a staple of Yarraville for some years and has done well to survive the influx of overly polished newcomers with staff ready and willing to feed your inferiority complex. Feedback Café is different - the focus here is on superb coffee and genuine home cooking in a relaxed environment. Aside from the coffee, the Po' Boys and Quesadillas are favourites. The thing that keeps me coming back is the communal feeling this café has - I've now made friends with a few locals just from sitting at the next table.
I'm willing to travel 17kms for a cup of joe and a good conversation.

Moments away from the overcrowded pretentiousness you'll find surrounding the Sun, this place is really worth checking out. Less crowded, better service, better food.

Breakfast Gem. Great coffee, great atmosphere and awesome food. The staff on the whole are great, but there has been a couple of difficult personalities who seem bored with life. But if you get the A team you'll have a brilliant experience. Worth the persistence.
This is the Feedback. This little cafe hits hard with flavour! The garden of feedin' is a good alternative for those who are vego, and for those who aren't like me, it is highly recommended to try. These guys know coffee, so no stress there. Intimate and solemn - try these guys if you want something new and mexican

Ripper joint. Cool, relaxed staff are always up for a chat. Awesome coffee, and amazing big breakfast. The best I've had. Wonderful decor as well. Full of character. Saw Gotye in there once, which was pretty swell.
Top spot!. Great big breakfast with a great choice of seasonings which made it feel just that little bit more fancy. Lovely hard working staff!

A great cheap and delicious feed!. Fantastic coffee, really lovely friendly staff and give me the pesto eggs or huevos rancheros any day. Always drooling to return.
Great little spot in yarraville, without all the fuss. It's just about good coffee and good food. Would highly recommend the BLT and for those more daring, the firey Moroccan eggs. Feedback is a weekly breakfast spot for me!!
My weekly spot. My boyfriend and i head to Feedback once a week and we just love it. the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious unlike most other places in Yarraville. Coffee is always good and the macadamia brownies are to die for.
Best joint in Yarraville. The dahl here is good. Really, really good. They experiment with the chutney and the side salad, but it's always fresh and delicious. Every dish I've had here - and that's been alot - has been spot on. The coffee is far and away the best in Yazzaville.
I'm surprised by negative comments on the service -the managers/staff are friendly...maybe a bit reserved, but so what? They are definitely not rude. And their music is great.
There are a lot of cookie cutter inner city cafes in Melb, but this isn't in that category. A point of comparison would be that if you like the Galleon in St Kilda (especially a while ago), you will like Feedback.

I really love this place. It reminds me of the type of cafe that I frequented in the mid 1990s; grungy and relaxed. The food here is pretty basic really but the coffee is truly the best I've tasted for a long time. Definitely my favourite coffee spot in Melbourne.
The hippie coffee spot. Funny how a town like Y'ville has different strata of coffee spots. This is the "hippie" coffee joint. Laid-back service, funky decor, likely to be playing world music... I liked it well enough, good coffee (every coffee in Australia is generally excellent), average food, bakery items a bit too far on the whole-wheaty side of the scale for my tastes. My biggest rap was that there was no air-con. Hot coffee on a hot day is not a good thing.
Great Joint. Great coffee. The huevos rancheros for breakfast are a staple. Menu offers a small but tasty selection. The soup of the day is usually always a winner. Friendly cosy atmosphere. Not only are the staff great but the customers are awesome too!! Feels like a family. It's only place I go to do my Friday footy tips. Go West Coast.
We love Feedback. We love feedback. Excellent coffee. Where else in Melbourne can you order a Gold Coast??? and who would have thought that healthy food could taste soooo good. I love their lentils and rice, and their BLT's are unreal. As for ambience well the music is usually spot on (except when one of the staff is having a reggae moment). It's a favourite of many of Yarraville's more shall we say "artistic" types and if you're a local you're bound to find someone there to talk footy and films with. gotta love that.
Went before a movie at the sun theatre. Not so busy due to being during the week. Menu substitutions due to current (January 2022) supply chain issues but what they suggested was good. Would go again for a hot chocolate and muffin.
Dropped in for a morning coffee and grabbed a muffin. This Cafe is very electic with an old world feeling maybe a Sixties style with quirky music. My first impression is that of hillbilly or rockabilly. You can get corn bread if you want. There are shared toys for the kids and books to read. It's not your cookie cutter Cafe but has a homely kitchen style. Very relaxing could stay all day chilling. By the way the coffee was great and the muffin with butter melted in my mouth.

Try the breakfast sardines...really good! Excellent coffee. Music is varied, ranging from cool jazz greats to rock classics. Water for your canine friends too.
