'6 STARS FOR THE FOOD'
I had smoked salmon, with hollandaise sauce with sides of smashed avo and spinach on sourdough ($21).
This breakfast was exceptional, I savoured every mouthful as the flavours and textures were pretty much perfect !!!!!!!!
I thanked the chef on the way out and discovered -- the salmon is smoked in house, the hollandaise is prepared fresh every morning and they pretty much make everything in house!!!!!
So thank you Cobb for closing as I never would have found this place !!!!!!!!!
Great little cafe with awesome coffee! This place has quickly become my go to cafe. The owners and staff are all super nice, great service, food and coffee.
It also has a cool upstairs area and some great styling (love the wall of doors) plus its right in the heart of the village.
Love this little place, the staff are amazing so friendly and great little conversations. The food is perfect, always handy if you need something small to fill you up. I don't drink coffee but great hot chocolate. I come here always when I have spare time and I love it. Keep up the good work. Always will come back :)
Great friendly staff and service!
•
nice scallops!
•
Although the dish I wanted was no longer there, they introduced me to an equally as awesome dish called “under the sea!”
•
Hope to have a “ball” next time when i come back.
Very cute place with a great upstairs area, delicious, well presented food with lots of vegetarian options, great soy coffee (as a barista, I know). Only thing I would suggest is more cushions for the booths upstairs. Other than that, worth a visit - try the fritters!
The ambiance and staff were both pleasant and friendly. The coffee was ok but a bit bitter for my tastes. I had the omelette and my partner had the waffles. In presentation the food looked excellent and tasted good.
This little pocket rocket cafe is my favourite in Yarraville! My partner and I came here one weekend for their famous Asian inspired chicken burger. Did not disappoint! Left me craving until my next one. The food is excellent- they've got an extensive but unique menu. I've had a couple of different items on there and every single one has been so tasty! The customer service and staff are even better. They always seem to make me feel like I'm home and a part of the family. Can't wait to go back!
super friendly staff, excellent food, efficient service. must go for lazy sunday bunches. delicious vegetarian and gluten free menu, will definitely come again!!!
Amazing meal with perfect service! Meal was specially cooked for a friends birthday, and the chef and owner were so friendly and attentive. Loved every bite !!
Came here for a private birthday for a friend. They put on a brilliant set menu for 10 of us catering to vegetarian, meat eaters and gluten free options. Followed it up with a sticky date pudding to die for.
Eat. Sleep. Create. Repeat.

The owner and staff are very friendly. We had waffle that's crunchy and the favour is not just plain... it's quiet special, I like the taste.
The food here is delicious, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is warm and has great sections for groups. I will def recommend this place to friends 🙏 😆
I'm new to Yarraville & tried Inspired Cafe. The coffee is great and the food lovely & plentiful. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I do have one major complaint; while the ambience of Inspired is quite relaxed a number of staff hum & sing quite loudly and very much out of tune. It is annoying & does ruin the mood. I'll be back for a coffee, and maybe even a meal, but please just let us listen to the music or conversation.
The whole place was absolutely wonderful. The food was good, the coffee was good, the inside was very cute and aesthetically pleasing. And the customer service I experienced was one of the best. Very friendly staff, would definitely recommend! 😁🌞
Lovely cafe, both food and coffee were great! The staff were very attentive and the place has really gone the extra mile to cater for families with space down the back for prams and a change table available too. Would recommend 😄
Great coffee, amazingly friendly service!!
Love the interior of the cafe too very cool and quirky will definitely be back! Nice Neibourhood cafe
My wife and I have just been back to Inspired Cafe after a long while. We took some friends with us.
The owners recognized us and welcomed us warmly.
Lunch was delicious and reasonably priced.
The food was well presented and the drinks had a "home made" vibe. The staff were well presented and unassumingly attentive.
Recommend this cafe for a quiet meal and good atmosphere.
Great service and delicious smashed avocado with a side of sautéed mushrooms. My wife also really enjoyed the Caesar salad. Would recommend.
Very cute cafe owned by lovely staff.
It's a shame that they don't get noticed much since there is many other cafes in yarraville.
The pancakes were nice, it'd be awesome if there was ice cream on the side.
The my Asian uncle special was also good, the coleslaw was amazing however I don't think the dish was worth $20, should be $15-$18 for what you get.
The juice was delicious and coffee was splendid.
Take your lover, friends or family for a cosy brunch in the lovely yarraville.
Came across this neat little cafe by surprise after going to the cinema's near by. Went back today for lunch which four other's,was greeted as soon as we entered the shop, very friendly environment.
Food was absolutely amazing, had the pulled pork with eggs mixed through with coleslaw, other's had the ribs which were so moist, pancakes which were perfect & fish & chips. The coffee is one of the best I've tasted & the freshly squeezed juice (watermelon & green apple) was so refreshing. Will definitely be coming back
A lovely cafe, food was fantastic and the chef was beautiful. He came and spoke to us personally and was a genuinely nice guy. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming especially to our child. Enjoyed the atmosphere. My only objection - and reason I did not rate 5 stars - when my order was made incorrectly and I asked for it to be corrected, the female staff member became disgruntled and noticeably annoyed. She spoke loudly to the chef so we could hear 'she doesn't want it so we have to make her a new one'.
Apart from this, a great place and I would go back.
I've been to this gem of a restaurant 4 times now and continue to be impressed. The quality of the food is amazing and it is beautifully plated (see pictures). The taste and presentation are better than I've had at much fancier restaurants. The food is delicious, generously portioned and reasonably priced. My favorite menu items are the prawn and crab cakes with asian slaw, crumbed prawns with chips, tuna nachos, and the peking duck rice paper roll. When I've been, we've ordered these items to share so everyone can get a great sampling of what's on offer. On my next visit I plan to order the waffles and chicken.
Yesterday we ate at Inspired. I was excited to find out that Inspired is serving Asian style brunch.. hubby and I ordered their Fried chicken burger and their chicken is coated in salted duck egg yolk. And I had the fried chicken with waffle. The chicken was done very well and taste yummy.. for those who have not tried it should give it a go. Their coffee are good.. People are friendly.. i would go back again. Their space looks deceiving as Inspired had lots of table upstairs and a bigger space at back..
I had a late lunch recently, and I chose the pulled pork burger meal, which comes with the fries included. The burger was excellent regarding flavour and presentation, and the chips were very much my kind of chips ( flavoursome and crunchy). Overall, a very good meal. The only issues were that the burger was leaking liquid, from the fresh apple sauce probably, and that put me off, and that the fries were a little bit oily, the latter something that didn't bother me at all. Coffee was OK, I think because the milk was burnt. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Ate here with my family for the first time and was very impressed. The food we ordered was The Sequel, Toastie and The Martin. It was all fresh and tasty. For drinks we had a long black coffee, English Breakfast Tea and a fresh juice. All good. The long black wasn't thick with creme and world class, but it was good enough for this coffee yuppy. We sat upstairs, which had lots of room and some entertainment options for our little boy.Service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back.
Had my daughter's 16th party in the upstairs café part. 3 course meal for 30 young people. food was exceptional, service was great. ambience was suitable for the occasion. Variety of music was available with Spotify. Great staff, great atmosphere, and food presentation was excellent. Definitely be visiting again. Thank you Inspired Café!
Came here for lunch to try it out. So glad we did. 2 of us had breakfast and one had lunch and all 3 of our meals were so good. I would recommend this place for breakfast and lunch. Service is great good. Very friendly staff.
What a lovely unassuming cafe along a street that has plenty to offer. The interior is very thoughtfully decorated and gives a warm feeling while dining in here. Service was fantastic and food was up to par. I would come back here on a relaxed weekend again for sure.
This place is one of Yarraville's hidden gems...in addition to the extremely friendly service the food here is delicious.
Breakfast items to try are "The Sequel" or the Pancakes; spot in each time!
Taste one of the burgers for lunch, and if you are fortunate to visit on a day when the pulled Bison burger is on the specials board you must give it a try.
Go and try this great cafe for yourself.
An extremely delicious and interestingly different breakfast here. So hard to be different but the food quality combined with the homely friendliness makes this a great place to eat and relax. The coffee could do with some improvement. A bit more grunt. Hopefully they'll take that on board
We were tired of Corner Shop and Cobb Lane was filled to the brim but we managed to grab an almond croissant to go. Stopped by Inspired Cafe menu for a read and decided "why not ?". Friendly chatter among patrons and staffs greeted our arrival, love the neighborhood cafe vibe we were seeing. A friendly lady brought us menus while we took in the unique dining space upstairs. Our hot beverages were both on point, despite the lack of design my cuppa was delicious and the same can be said for the hot chocolate. The presentation of our eggs Benedict(salmon) and fritters could give any fine dining joint a run for their money and they both tasted bloody decent as well. And guess what ?Almond croissant was spotted at the counter on our way out. Will definitely be back for more.
Good location and good service. Hair in chips unfortunately so may want to invest in hairnets. Chicken burger delicious. Place has potential in the hands of a good cook and a good interior designer.
A great example of the hospitality that Yarraville is known for. Service was friendly and relaxed all around. Locals who walked in and are on first name basis with the owners and you can feel the strong sense of community around here. The latte is an example of when no latte art is required for a coffee to be good. Strong and topped with velvety smooth milk. Food was great for value and portion size was generous. Our ricotta omelette with pulled pork and corn kernels and pulled pork burger was full of flavour and hit the spot. While the menu may seem simple and basic, it doesn't really matter when the food is cooked with thought and care and taste delicious. Attention to details can make all the difference.
Went to inspired cafe today while it was raining and gloomy! Had a take away coffee and was absolutely delicious coffee! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend this cafe 😃
Great service- headed here unexpectedly after the disappointing hoa sen left me hungry. Headed straight over the road and found this little gem! Service with a smile, great ambience and some lip smacking ribs and chips with a delightful little side slaw. A big glass of white wine and all at reasonable prices - if you haven't yet discovered this little place put it on your radar and give it a go!
We were a group of 9 and the staff at Inspired Cafe were kind enough to put us in a private area out the back. The kids were able to shout and sing as much as they wanted, and the staff even gave them pencils and paper!
We had delicious food, enjoyed the warm hospitality and are so happy to have chosen Inspired Cafe for our ANZAC Day lunch.
Had some tasty burgers here a little while ago. Really nice fries came in an adorable little box. Compared to some of the other things in Yarraville this place can seem kind of basic but the staff are really friendly, they play good music and it's good value. Plus they have a cool upstairs which is always pretty quiet so you can have a good chat with whoever you're with. Don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that but the milkshakes were good :)
Had a fantastic experience.
The cafe has a variety of specials and today I discovered the Pulled Bison Burger! It was extremely tender and flavourful.
My wife, Meagan Roberts, had the Calamari Salad which she also loved.
The prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Had a breakfast at Inspired Cafe for the second time and yes, it was inspired. The food was great, well portioned, fresh and tasty - well cooked. My only complaint (very, very minor), I'm not a fan of the wooden plate. The service here is definitely some of the best in the Yarraville village. Well worth visiting this place, can't wait to be back.
Walked in on a busy Saturday morning with a baby in tow. Was given the table at the back which was cosy and private. This place definitely hits the mark for being baby friendly.
Food was served promptly and it was amazing! Dishes were generous and really yumm. We ordered two specials, one avo smash and a prawn and crab cake dish to share. With food like that, we are definitely coming back for more!
Dropped in late on a quiet Sunday afternoon, hungry as a Snicker's ad. I had a sandwich in mind, and they were pleased to supply a BLT even though it wasn't exactly on the menu. Tracee made a marvellous sandwich and added some home-made pickled beetroot on the side that was delicious. Ralph provided a very good coffee. I really enjoyed the attentive service and friendly banter. The cafe is well placed in the main section of Yarraville and deserves local attention. I will return for sure.
The food was delicious - things my friend and I had never tried before. Will definitely go back - not only to try something different, but enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality of the owners. Made us feel special - not just a number!
Had a lovely lunch at Inspired Café in Yarraville last week. Lots of venue options in Yarraville but this one is a keeper. Vibe was quiet but lovely, the staff were great, the lady who was the chef was very helpful, food was fresh and clean. I had the prawn and crab cakes which came with a little salad, the half serve was plenty for me, and my friend had a lamb burger which came with great chips (which I ate) and she loved it. Will defo be going back and I hope locals and visitors support this new business.
I think this restaurant succeeds in three categories: fantastic food, great service, and at a good price point.
We have been here on 4 different occasions and I have to say this is easily by far our favourite cafe in Yarraville. We moved to Highett a couple of months ago, and we will still drive all the way to Yarraville (approx 30 minutes) for breakfast sometimes, and it is worth the effort.
We had a prawn and crabcake burger and it was to die for. I like that they have specials that they change on a weekly basis and the specials are awesome. Their regular menu is pretty good too.
Also - I don't think too many people have discovered this cafe just yet (probably because it lacks the "hipster" factor), so the waiting time for food is short.
The one possible minor flaw is that I think it might not have air conditioning (or at least it hasn't been switched on on my visits here, but not a big deal as the weather has been fine so far) - it's not a problem for me, but might be a factor for folks who can't stand really hot summer days.
Warm hospitality and excellent food- this was an afternoon well spent. We were greeted warmly by the hosts of the restaurant and promptly seated, we were only a small party of two but they were willing to accommodate us as we requested the big round table by the back. The corner was cosy and provided ample privacy for quiet conversations. Food was spectacular- we tried The Sequel (highly recommend!), the prawn and crab cakes, the standard burger, and sticky date pudding. Portions were decently sized and food served promptly. Flavours were complimented so well, at one point the chef even came by to ask us how we felt about the meal, which we felt showed charisma and genuine care for their patrons. Definitely returning for food favourites and to try our their seasonal changing menu!

We used the entertainment voucher to try the place out. As soon as we came in we were greeted with a smile and hello ,which is rare and can make a huge difference in Australia customer service.
Got a spicy chook which was awesome and my wife got a beef burger which was pretty basic. Price was a bit high for smallish burgers but the great service we got makes up for it.
We will definitely be coming back.
Something drew me to this place this morning after much deliberation I decided on what to eat.
After asking the owner and chef what they could recommend being gluten intolerant they said to me I could choose anything and they were happy to accommodate.
So I ended up having the most delicious breakfast of smashed avocado mixed with fetta, poached egg on top sprinkled with dukka on the most amazing gluten free bread.
Would highly recommend this place for a great feed as well as great service
My wife and I called in for a meal after the movies. The service was excellent and we both loved the decor of the cafe. My wife ordered the corn fritter burger and chips and really enjoyed it. I had pancakes with berries, delicious! Really friendly staff. I hope the councils ridiculous decision to continue with the parking meters does destroy great little cafés like this
Great service, delicious coffee and meal. My husband had an omelette and I had pancakes. We both walked away full and happy. Value for money was excellent, and the service was fantastic.
Today was our second visit to Inspired Cafe we had The Big Breakfast, The Standard Burger, Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup , the Fritters, Prawn and Crab cakes and Baked Cheese cake.
All were delicious and presented beautifully. Loads of tasty fresh ingredients and their coffee is great too.
Love the upstairs area of the cafe, comfortable and an ideal place for group meetings or functions. We will definitely be back.
Today was the third time we've been to Inspired Cafe and each time we have been thoroughly impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing! We've taken friends and they have also loved it. We recommend this place to everyone as the welcome is friendly and the atmosphere nice.
Perfect coffee to please the morning crave, any coffee lover will enjoy. Well presented hearty breakfast that pleases the eye and stomach. Awesome friendly vibe. Will defiantly be back.

I Have been to this quirky little cafe a few times over the past few weeks and always have a great meal, on Sunday I had brekkie there, eggs Benedict just perfect I had not one as good as this for a long time. I think it is a definitely a place to put on your dining experience!,
Constantly changing menu with extremely reasonably priced dishes. Staff are fabulous and nothing seems too much trouble. Kid friendly. Having tried nearly all of the restaurants in Yarraville it really stands out to me for flavour and price. Dishes are presented in a fabulous way and its a lovely comfortable spot for breakfast or lunch. The tuna tacos are stunning and so are the chicken mini ribs. My kids love the pancakes and salted caramel milkshakes.
Great place with excellent service - baby friendly and lovely, kind staff who went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Coffee was solid, chicken toastie was tasty, but the star was the tuna nachos! Definitely one to try.
Crazy good food in this new Yarraville joint. I've lived in this area two years now and these guys are easily the best around. The Farmer breakfast, the Tuna Nachos (not what you're envisioning, I assure you) and the prawn and crab cake burger are all incredible.
We came in for coffee last week and it was so good that we came back today. This time we ordered food too: light lunch dishes Tuna Nachos and Prawn & Crab Cakes. Wow! The presentation of both dishes is superb, as elegant &.tempting as any fine dining restaurant could offer. And the taste - absolutely delicious! Fresh, clean flavours with clever flavour combinations. We are local and we know the Yarraville cafes well. This one is outstanding. .. you just have to try it for yourself!!
