Really great chips- hot crispy and with chicken salt! The fish was also great- nice and thick and tasty. The shop was exceptionally clean. I phoned ahead to place my order which worked well. We then walked across the road to sit on the beach and eat our dinner.
Used to be fantastic, best fish and chips in town but recently the food quality has dropped substantially.
Made several enquiries and encouraged them to correct the issues but alas, still poor.
Don't bother buying milk from here it's expensive and tastes bloody awful every time !!
We were after some lunch before going to the double head trail and when the Caltex had no options we found this place. Glad we did! Lunch was burgers and chips. The chicken burger was fresh and the chicken was not dry like expected with servo food, the chips tasty, the hamburger had a delicious patt
Great prices, tasty food and quick service. My partner and I had lunch here today and we were really impressed with the serving size also. I can highly recommend their food, they even have a little seating area outside!
Just got 2 serves of gluten free chips and two battered gluten free red emperor. Was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Will buy again.
The red emperor was delicious, the chips fluffy inside and crunchy outside, the calamari was fat and not rubbery. Prices fair. Very satisfied.
Will flip a burger, won’t grill fish.
