My go to for chilli mussels, an absolute huge serving, very satisfying meal, the garlic bread accompanies the mussels very well

Garlic bread was a little too chewy and not crunchy enough. Personal favourite would be the chicken parcel as it was tender and well seasoned. Would return

The best lasagne I have ever had in Australia and a great pizza all freshly made.
Staff were great couldn't do enough for us .. Told us we could take home the food we didn't finish.. This we did as the portions were quite large ..

I used to drive past this unassuming restaurant every morning, not knowing any better what good food they had to offer! Excellent tortellini dish with a round and rich flavour, just like how Italian food should be. The chilli mussels were good, but not spicy enough for my tasting. The staff were a little cold to us which a bit unfortunate, and this place only accepts cash!
Excellent garlic bread and lovely fettuccine! Friendly staff, and the place is packed on a Saturday night with plenty of Italian people, which is generally a good sign.
Favourite pizza in Perth, the American is a must try. Come here on a regular basis. Restaurant is always busy and the food is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly
Love this restaurant. Cash only and must book. There is seating out back in the courtyard. Delicious pastas and pizzas. Try the chicken parcel special- it really is special. Big servings. Well priced meals.
Good food, quick takeaway. Unfortunately usually closed when we arrive to order food. Doesn't seem to stick to regular opening times. Good if you can catch it when it's open.
Had their Chilli mussels and garlic bread all the time and only review based on this particular dish. The portions are big and delicious! Love it! Going this coming Wednesday again! Must try their Chilli mussels! ❤️

The pastas are not bad for a local place. I like that you can swap and change the pastas with the sauces. The serving size is also decent for the price. The negatives are that they only take cash and my pasta was too overcooked at my recent dining experience (this never happened before).

Stopped in at gino's spaghetti bar tonight and the place was packed. I have never been before but upon driving past decided to stop and place a take away order. The staff were warm
And friendly I placed my order and within 10 minutes had my food. A very good effort considering how busy they were. I had the chilli muscles and my wife the tortellini alla pana both dishes were delicious.

Great Italian in the Suburbs. This is a great choice if you want take away or a low key cafe in the suburbs. The food is sensational and cooked with authentic Italian recipes. I had chilli mussels which are a favourite of mine and they didn't disappoint, in fact they were they best I've had in a long time. Kids ate pizza which was full of toppings and nothing beats home made bases!! Just remember to bring your cash as their is no EFT.

Generous serving. I had the Veal Parmiggiana. It was served with spaghetti bolognaise which I think it was a very good change to the usual chips and salad served in other perth restaurants. The food was nice as it is low in salt and you can adjust to your liking by adding whatever quantity you would like, so to take the whole family including grandma and gramps is also suitable. The price for the serving is reasonable, the quantity is generous as Italian food should be (The couple dinning close to us were having chilli mussels and they looked MASSIVE). The drinks on the other hand are very cheap, the coffee is OK not great. The Chicken with mushroom my wife had was really delicious. Again, her food lacked salt but that is the way she likes it so she was more than happy, her serving was really generous too. We ordered some bruschettas, the tomato is beautiful though I believe the whole ensamble needed some shaved parmesan, but that was no problem, we just called up the waitress, she brought the parmesan and the bruschettas were nice (and very affordable ($5)). I feel like I want to go again. But with the number of seats that might be a problem. Otherwise try to have a late dinner, you can have the place pretty much for yourself!
Great little place. I went on a Thursday so it wasn't busy. The food came out promptly and was delicious. The serving sizes were perfect and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back.
Did a walk in around 7:30pm, got told the restaurant was booked out... The place had two occupied tables and the rest were empty so we decided to order take away. 30 minuted later place was still empty.
Service - meh could be a lot better but food made up for what was lacking in the service department.

Overall okay experience. Gino's wasn't what I expected when I walked in, there were only a couple of tables and it seemed like they mostly did take out. It didn't really have a restaurant feel. We waited quite a while to have our order taken, and when the lady came over she was quite rude, I can see why people have been complaining about the service. She didn't greet us or anything, she just said 'okay' and waited for us to order, not making eye contact. But he was a little nicer when collecting our plates. My boyfriend had the chilli muscles which were awesome, I had the meet ravioli which was okay but I wouldn't order it again.
Food above average quality. BYO wine only. Restaurant can get quite loud and staff are quick to clear plates, sometimes when diners aren't finished. Worth a trip but pick your day if a special occassion.
Great food, BAD service. Came here on a quiet night, despite the restaurant being empty we were seated out the back in the cold. No menus, water or sight of a waitress for about 10 minutes. Eventually went inside to complain. Once we received our menus and decided what to order we again had to go inside to find a waitress.
Order one serve of the chilli mussels between two of us. Huge serving and probably the best chilli mussels I've ever eaten!
This place seriously needs to work on it's service because the food was without fault.

Bloody good Italian, no frills, big portions and great service. Lasagne perfect and will defo go back. Beats Jamies Italian!!
I love this place. Don't walk in with expectations of a high end restaurant. Expect traditional, homestyle Italian food; no fancy extras (like salad) just simple, well-priced food. Chilli Mussels are the best; the pizza and pasta are fantastic as well. Plus, it is BYO wine and you can't beat that!!
Tasty and Hearty. Ohh my goodness, second time I have had their lasagne in a fortnight. It's to die for, and such big servings make it awesome value. No need to return to pasta cup...
A piece del nord. Shortly after returning from Italy I ordered a pizza from Gino's & I was in heaven. The base is the closest I've found in the Tuart Hill/Yokine/Morley area to a beautiful Italian crust - crisp on the outside & silky soft in the middle.
Gino's special is a favorite!
Be warned with the seafood platter that it is HUGE!! A lot of whitebait included but overall enjoyable!
Seafood platter. We ordered a seafood platter to share between 4 people. It was delicious and an enormous amount of beautifully grilled seafood. We took some home as there was such a generous serve. Highly recommended!
Great bolognese sauce. Plenty of meat, nice taste, not too sour or sweet. Favourite lasagne and spaghetti bolognese in Perth.
Their chilli mussels are also great - recommend getting some plain bread with them to soak up the sauce. If you ask for extra hot, then be prepared for some of the hottest chillies around - they really are +++hot.
Good unpretentious Italian food. Service is quick and attentive, food is fabulous, servings are generous, great atmosphere - love! Will definately be coming back!

Ginos has been local to us since I cn remember. The atmosphere of Italy around the room has a picturesque setting with paintings of Sicily and Milan, along with the Amalfi Coast.
The food, is delicious. Modern Italian cuisine, tasty pasta cooked through and pizzas to die for(without an absolute ridiculous amount of grease).
The dessert menu isn't exactly long but their tiramisu is a winner. Never been disappointed throughout my 1652 times of going.
Good food, fresh and hot. Portions too big - a pity to waste that tasty food. Service was rather slow, but that is no surprise on a Saturday night. The outside area is great - cooler and quieter than inside, but the hard chairs aren't great for long sitting. We'll be back!
Really good food!. BeIng local I'm fortunate to have this place just up the road from me. Always really fresh food, great friendly service and very well priced. Try it... I think you'll like it

Good food, service, ambience. Very yummy traditional food, nice setting, out back and front and friendly staff to. Would go there anyday. Price is average, not cheap, not to expensive either.
Fine for take away. I dont live near this place but when I visit friends in Tuart Hill we sometimes grab take away from this place. Its the best italian take out I've had though it's not amazing it does hIt the spot.
A local. I enjoy this one. The service is usually pretty good, and the food is pretty tasty!
It's a little small inside, but they have a nice outdoor area. I have taken a number of friends and family here, and whilst its nothing AMAZING, it is pretty good for a little local restaurant - no complaints!
