I’ve visited Dr Morse a couple of times for drinks and really enjoyed the experiences. The beer garden is great, fits a lot of people and the drinks are good.
The curry loaded kipfler potatoes are delicious if you are peckish for a snack while visiting.
Staff are friendly - I would recommend visiting if you are in the area.
The place is great for a lazy brunch, also have nice dinner menu, food were good, have nice selection of beer on taps, have in door and outdoor bar, fantastic for drinks on weekends, very cool vibe.

Although I’d come here six months ago a recent return for a ‘coffee on the go’ and then today chatting with the staff, means I’m going to have to return again and have a meal. The menu has been updated since I last fined here and I’m always looking for something new.
The coffee I had was not just good but the whole experience with the barista Paul who greeted me with a smile, happy to fill my reusable cup and wished me a good day - makes for a nice start to anyone’s working week.
The restaurant itself has a warm ambience and is spacious and open with exposed brick walls and decor to match the era in which it was built. Out the back is a stunning courtyard that you can enjoy summer days (or winter ones as there are heaters) and soak up all that Abbotsford has to offer. Wine and beer menu is good and a large bar for those that want something more.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Parking - is Johnston Street so can be hit or miss.
A must visit. I will return.
Good coffee
Great courtyard
Awesome drinks menu
Great lunch time snack through the side window
Fab weekend breakfast/brunch spot
Have visited many times
Had an expensive but worth-the-price drink at this Abbotsford drinking hole. It was a beer aged in wine barrels and served in a wine glass (at half the standard serving side). I would feel ripped off if it hadn't been so refreshing and delicious. Sat outside, which is nice and lively albeit a bit hectic from the train station right behind it. Would definitely visit again for food and other drinks.
Staff were very friendly, great variety of food and the flavours were delicious, we loved everything we ordered except for the lamb ribs, unfortunately they were far too fatty and had that lamb smell and they were deep fried, I think they would’ve been much better if they were beef or pork ribs. Will definitely return to try other things on the menu.
Such a good atmosphere for Saturday afternoon drinks. Edamame, cauliflower and ginger beef were fantastic. The ribs were a bit of a let down, a little too salty.
Abbotsford darling, Dr Morse is an all-day eatery boasting a spacious beer garden at the back. A new menu has just been launched with everything cooked on their new courtyard BBQ.
Under the guidance of Head Chef Ash Monks, the kitchen is in safe hands – think flavour-laden Pan Asian offerings made with locally sourced produce designed to entice and delight.
Been here for casual drinks and work functions. Nice food, accommodating, love the space and service. Nice touch having chef cook right at your table for functions. 👌
We love eating here! It’s a friendly atmosphere and the staff are always nice. Personal favourites are the Doc’s Smash and Dr Morse Benedict. The Pablo crumbled eggs are heaven!!
