Very tasty and good vibe cafe. I love this place And kind staffs. And especially coffee is awesome taste. I recommend visit this cafe and drink and eat something
In the beautiful grounds of the Abbotsford convent, the Convent bakery is a lovely place to stop for a coffee and something to eat. The space itself is beautiful, making the most of the gorgeous old building that it resides in. There is so much history here, and that adds to the warm and cosy feel.
A delicious selection of cakes and baked goods is available, and I've always enjoyed the food here as it's freshly made and has that hand made quality. The coffee is also really good, as is the service. Staff make you feel welcome, and it's nice to have somewhere to stop while exploring the beautiful gardens.
The Abbotsford Convent Bakery is the best place to bring your dog and enjoy the sunshine outside with a bite to eat. The baked goods and paninis I’ve tried from here have always been of very high quality and my parents love the sausage rolls and pies. The loaves of bread I’ve taken home have also been good, it is nice to not have to get sourdough sometimes to have a good loaf. Highly recommend this great spot in Abbotsford!

Pastries / sandwiches looked inviting but we had a heavy breakfast at another cafe so we just had another cuppa and a vegan apple crumble. Coffee was strong which is the way we liked it. Vegan and gluten free apple crumble was delicious and wowed by hubby who’s usually not into vegan stuff.
Great atmosphere especially on a sunny day. Lots of alfresco seats around if you want to bring your pet along. Great spot for people and pet watching
I only had a gluten-free brownie from here but it was one of the best gluten-free brownies I have had. It was delicious, moist and not too sweet. They seem to offer a few nice food choices and I thought the staff were helpful and friendly. It's a good stop in-between exploring the convent. Good seating options.

Visited as a guest in the Abbotsford Convent bakery for lunch just today. We were entertaining friends from Tasmania , and enjoyed our table. We chose to stay beautiful outdoor. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had delightful foods and had everything we needed. Excellent and will be back definitely. Thank you Convent Bakery 😊
With a beautiful location, and very friendly staff these guys have some fantastic baked creations that I havn't seen too often, worth a visit!
Love this place. Been here many times for a coffee or a toasted sandwich. Always get great and friendly service. Love the surroundings of this place. Highly recommend.
Ready for brekky after building up an appetite sampling treats at the market stalls? Grab an outside table at this bakery cafe and wander inside to take in all of the baked treats on offer. Great brekky menu with non-baked options, like corn fritters with eggs.
The Abbotsford convent is beautiful and it's stunning architecture creates the perfect atmosphere to sit on the manicured lawns and enjoy a delicious wood fired pizza from the convent bakery. The oven is original and over 100 years old and the staff use old fashioned baking techniques to create yummy fresh bread and other baked goods. A really picturesque spot for a date
Visited the bakery with family for lunch on a very hot Sunday. There was plenty of shade under the big umbrellas which made sitting outside very pleasant. We tried a number of food selections and drinks and found the whole experience to be very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the bakery for catch ups and great atmosphere.👌
Purchased an absolutely delicious hot cross bun here this morning. So fresh and full of flavour. Their spice blend is a little different to typical hot cross buns - so good and highly recommended.
Loved the chilli scrambled eggs. Had a side of chorizo and hash browns. Quick service. Lots of items in cabinets that looked yummy. My son loves the frog in the pond too :)
I had the most delicious breakfast and I really enjoyed the atmosphere but not the pigeons! I wasn’t comfortable with them flying around me thinking they might attack my food in any second. Definitely coming back because what I ordered was really great.
Great food, mostly made in house, so not sure why the bakery has bad reviews. The pigeons have made a mess on many of the outdoor tables, but you can always take away and sit anywhere in the convent gardens to eat.
Great atmosphere. Good selection of food made on premise. However, I found the prices a bit high.
