This is now like an essential stop over when in Adelaide. The tomatoes and cheese actually taste! Wow fantastic. Excellent coffee. True Italian ambience. Makes a visit to the Central Markets worthwhile. We just happened to be walking by and were so lucky to have stopped in. Bellissimo!

Chef On The Run!!

Fresh and pretty basic Italian food.
I wish the pasta menu and its sauces had more variety.
Tagliatelle vongole was a good meal for 20 bucks.

Suraksha Mattoo

Loved the pasta and minestrone we ordered. The place is always busy and you might take a while to find a chair for yourself on a weekend. Can give it a shot once.

Best white cream sauce ever . Did not feel like leaving my spoon . The pizza topping was not that great but the bread In the pizza was good enough to make up for it it is a must try

DOOF!

The parmigianas are always my go-to dish on the menu. The serving sizes are also very generous, suiting the Italian standard serving size.

There deli section is also great. The salads are always my favourites with a new variety of fresh salads daily. It's great to takeaway to have for lunch during the week. I recommend the Harissa carrots salad. That's always a crowd pleaser.

There’s some places that just have the X factor and this is one of them.

Ambience - set in the bustling markets, there’s plenty of atmosphere and people watching to do. You can feel the history of this place.

Food - authentic and delicious! And generously priced. I recommend the bruschetta and carbonara.

Drinks - I had the mocha which was strong and it had a good mix of chocolate and coffee

Service - the ordering at the counter process can take a while at busy times. The general demeanour of staff is pleasant. Given how busy this place gets - and the very limited space they have to operate - one shouldn’t expect personalised service!

Good to see they are using EFTPOS now - always suspicious that operators only accepting cash are avoiding taxes.

Poppie likes Lucia's. Reasonable prices. Authentic home cooked Italian pasta and sauces. It does take a tad long to receive your meal but it's worth the wait and it's nice to sit back and people watch in the central markets. Poppie loves the gnocchi pesto. Bellezza. Definitely worth an eat if you're craving home cooked Italian and in the city or in the Central Markets 👍

A very busy vibe on a Saturday morning in the markets. Quick service and a simple menu with everything you'd ever want. Authentic Italian family food and coffee done well, and great value.
Coffee fantastic.
The place was packed inside and out with a lot of people lingering but just as many grabbing a quick breather so you can generally get a table.
Great value.
I breakfasted with an Italian friend.
We were both happy.

Omg! Amazing, like Paul’s nonna used to make. Back to basics nothing fancy, simple food! It was worth the wait in line, great customer service, great food! Have found my Italian place in Adelaide!

I arrived before 9 am and the place is already packed. The service is efficient and everybody is friendly. After finding a seat, I could check the menu first before go back to the counter to order and pay. I had the half breakfast, which is just the right portion for me. Add just another $1 for full breakfast which I think is a good value. The cappuccino is strong with excellent thick froth.
