It's been a while since I've been to Crack Kitchen but a recent cool, windy day was the perfect opportunity to indulge in some comfort food and revisit Crack Kitchen. My meatball jaffle with a side of fries was delicious and a great value lunch option. You can also get all day breakfast here.
Well fed with The heist with haloumi but Jail Bird was tend to be mediocre. Decent coffee with nice ambience. In terms of price-wise, prolly little bit high but still affordable. Overall, great brunch place in heart of Adelaide!
Coffee was great. Came at a busy time, service was abit slow, wasn't acknowledged for awhile as I was standing next to the 'wait to be seated' sign by the numerous staff that walked past me, until one of them seated me. Bounty granola serving was generous.
Great breakfast - my 13 year old son declared The Vault the best breakfast he’d ever had.
Poached eggs were perfect and coffee was good.
It was busy with a nice vibe. Building works across the road make it noisy though.
Service ok: forgetful- had to remind them about juice and cutlery - which is a shame otherwise this place would be perfect.
The pumpkin stack was a lot bigger than I expected for a city cafe. It was definitely filling. Not anything mind blowing but simple done really well. I particularly liked the lemon hummus. Partner had the chilli scam which he enjoyed. Once again, simple done well. Coffee was good too.
Been here a couple of times for coffee but this time i had lunch with my girlfriends. The food quality was really good. I had salmon, poached eggs with bread. My friends were very satisfied with their meals too. I came back for a cake around 3.30pm last week surprisingly they were still open! The staff was really friendly and served me water and told me to take my time. Will definitely come back for more food!
While travelling from Melbourne...
A lovely find with a cafe that ticks all the elements. Appealing menu with crowd pleasing options that have been cooked well. The hot drinks and juices were all done well. Coffee beans were good and backed with coffee that has been made perfectly- smooth and creamy. Well done Adelaide!
What a cracker of a breakfast plate! $21 for "The Heist" and I definitely got more than what I bargained for. Every element on the dish was great, and after all, it would be hard to mess up on such a simple dish right? The iced coffee was also a bonus and added a nice touch to my meal.
Coffee was really good but the burger was bit lacking. Chicken wasn't that big and juicy to suit size of the bun. Chips were on point though.
Actual favourite cafe!! Love the atmosphere and the coffee! The chai was also absolutely delicious! Food is a little overpriced still amazing and honestly worth it for the whole vibe.
Came here on Queen’s Birthday Monday, there wasn’t much places opened but because we came early (10:20am) we were lucky to get seated straight away.
Overall great food, surprisingly good coffee and wait staff were quick, attentive and professional. Although we ordered poached eggs, it came out scrambled but they were still delicious. The wait times were very reasonable and came out in a timely manner.
Crack Kitchen is an clean, established joint with a well thought menu. I had ordered an iced coffee, which was so refreshing I ordered a second, and a brioche burger. The burger was also very tasty, which a nice combination of flavours and textures. Definitely come here for a date, or a vibrant catchup with friends.
Went here for brunch and enjoyed a delicious coconut rice pudding arranged so nicely it could have been a bouquet of flowers. Super tasty and great balance of flavours and textures. The wheelchair accessible toilet has the old bank vault for a door which is an interesting feature and talking point.
Quite busy, but the food was spot on.
Rice pudding was absolutely fantastic.
Cool little spot with a nice interior, right next to two multi storey carparks which is convenient, too.
Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Food was awesome - bacon was very tasty, eggs perfectly poached, chorizo excellent with a nice heat and the home made hash browns so tasty. If we hadn't already been full, we would have had dessert.
Amazing food, great service, very cool atmosphere. The food was incredible, will be back for the relish alone! Get the fresh orange juice!

📝: It’s a crackin’ good day for brunch. Shoutout to this super cute brunch place in Adelaide. Enjoy a range of sweet and savory dishes that will fill you up and satisfy your tastebuds.
❤️: Really loved the Sourdough vanilla waffle with milk sorbet, soft chocolate, salted caramel, oat biscuit. The flavors went amazingly well together, perfect for a sweetooth. The Falafel Bowl was super tasty and wholesome. And don’t miss out on the Crispy chicken katsu in soft and fluffy thick-cut white bread.
