Review Two-bit Villains - Adelaide

Anubis
The staff were absolutely wonderful, informative, friendly, and there was a huge menu to choose from! There was quite a long wait as they were pretty busy when we went, but the drinks were lovely while we waited. I love that a vegetarian can order without worries here, and all you need to do is ask for your order to be vegan, and they'll take care of the rest! I can't say I recommend the chicken burger, it doesn't have a lot of flavour and the spongy bread-like texture of the patty was very off-putting. The crumbling was nice though. The "mozzarella sticks" were creamy and tasty, but don't bite into them expecting stretchy cheese. They're quite soft. Overall a lovely experience, I'm gonna try something else on the menu next time though!

Wow! We stumbled onto this but what an amazing find. Everything vegetarian with vegan options. And the Americana style dishes are just great. Their drinks range of house made sodas are also worth trying The location elevated above Adelaide Arcade with views over Rundle mall are lovely. And the interior a fun mix of 60’s furniture and older 1890s architecture of Adelaide Arcade Food was fast and service was good.

A friend suggested we go here for lunch, was not aware it was a vego restaurant. Pleasantly surprised, ordered the cajun salad and it was delicious. The fried chicken was really tasty, once you got over the texture of it, kind of bread like. Tried the soda too, was nice and they had a variety of different flavours that you wouldn’t normally get from a softy. Service was friendly and food came out nice and fast

What a find. Ordered the onion rings and they were amazing. A must have if you are here. We also had the cheeseburger and the Baron burger and both were delicious. Highly recommend dropping in.

An staple for vegans and vegetarians of Adelaide. The onion rings are absolutely compulsory for every visit, and make sure to try the house-made sodas! The bandito burger is my favourite, and the vegan chicken fingers are great. The main downside is the service, which almost always takes more than 20 minutes to come to the table. It's been a consistent problem for the last few years. However, if you have no trains to catch, deadlines or any places to be, give it a go!

A lovely friendly restaurant, The staff were extremely efficient and offered suggestions to those who hadn't dined vegetarian before, The wait time was also quite quick,I had the onion ring burger and it was really good

Delicious food! My friend and I ordered 'The jailbird' and the 'Chilli Cheese Fries', along with a lime and choc milkshake. It was served promptly and the view from the balcony was wonderful, so peaceful and pretty. I would recommend this food to all, you couldn't tell there was no meat!!!
MIRATARNISH
Wonderful little place, deserves more awareness! The sodas have a nice almost herbal taste, and the vegan Mac and cheese is fantastic. The breaded tenders have a very unique approach of being sourdough-like pieces crumbed and fried, creating that chicken-like chewiness in a familiar way. Great place to go with friends

Just visited Adelaide recently from Queensland and had lunch at two bit villians. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing, which was great as not being vegan I was not really sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of choice and how tasty the food was. I would recommend it to anyone regardless of wether they are vegan or have food allergies or are just looking for a good value tasty meal.

I live in Sydney and this is the first place I come to when I'm in town. As a coeliac and a vegetarian, it's always difficult to find the 'v' and the 'gf' together on a menu - not here! Delicious comfort food, large portions and friendly staff in a relaxed, high ceilinged diner. Perfect for carb loading between gigs :D

The food is top notch, I have a few very specific food requirements and I don't have to think twice when I order here, which is honestly such a massive deal for me. It makes the anxiety of getting food so much more comfortable. Oh and if you do have questions they are very hospitable. The customer service is honestly the best I have ever had, they are super lovely and I go here on a regular basis because it's one of those places I can trust to always deliver. My picks would be the Chilli Cheese fries, the raspberry soda and there is a peanut butter sundae that is ridiculously good. Oh and there are a range of seating options, a view overlooking the mall which is a really cool from a tourist stand point.

A friend and I sussed this place out yesterday. The young girl was very helpful and gave us options and best seller ideas too. The food was delicious and the house made sodas were a dream. We ordered too much food as most places when suggested a large is enough for one person alone. TBV gives your moneys worth. Love the old school decor and vibe. And love your merch. Will happily return soon again.

Currently sitting in two-bit villains after eating a delicious meal with my two friends. I couldn't wait to write a review! The meal was amazing! We all loved our burgers and the Kola was delicious! We loved the vibe and we felt so relaxed and the staff were amazing! Definitely coming back!

Wasn’t greeted at the door when arrived, had to wait for a few minutes and got the waiter’s attention before one was free. Had the red hot dawg and cherry soda food was okay nothing special menu was mostly burgers not much variety. Service was okay they allowed me to share a table as I was by myself. Happy with sharing a table and happy with waiting time for food but it was just average.

Had a dream last night that I was sitting in Two bit naked, enjoying a tasty burger. Liam got grumpy at me and told me to leave but I insisted i must finish my burger. Anyway. Sick food. I woke up hungry.

Excellent, unique place to grab a large vegan meal and when the weather is right, the view from the balcony in this historical building (Adelaide arcade) above rundle mall is really something special. This place is a MUST-SEE. The food is gorgeous, as are the owners. <3

Amazing...the best Vegan place to eat. Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing atmosphere (and family friendly).

My favourite place for quality vegan food I, without a doubt, will always come back!

Villains by name but not by nature! It was an impulse visit, we were attracted by the name and it was a pleasant surprise. I'm not keen on the coconut bacon but the rest of the Caesar salad was delish. The soda menu is extensive and options are varied. What clinched it for me was getting unsweetened iced tea finally in Australia! Mum found the Chai latte a bit sweet (but she is used to the packets from the supermarket) definitely will visit again.

Our first visit today at Two Bit Villians and it won't be our last!! The service was very quick and the food was absolutely delicious. The chips were amazing!!! Friendly staff, great good and quirky decor.

Finally got to try it! Food was amazing. Had vegan fries burger and hubby had the sweet potato pot pie. Both did not disappoint. To have a full veggie menu that can be veganised is wonderful and then finding a FODMAP option too was perfect. Eating out with our food issues is impossible and this place is a game changer. Drinks were lush too. Will be back

Always spectacular food and lovely service! Great to have somewhere that caters so much for vegan and vegetarian food!

I had a very lovely experience here. The veggie burger and mac & cheese I had was delicious! The service was great and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be back :)

I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago after discovering the hidden offering on EatClub. The location and setting is quirky and charming, being on the top floor of the Arcade building. To be honest, I was actually quite disappointed in the house made drinks, there was a distinct lack of flavour. Food wise, really cool to see such a variety of meatless options! I think even an avid meat eater would not feel out of place eating here and it would be a great introduction to how a full veg meal can be done. I chose a mixture of nibbles - some Brussels sprouts (unpopular opinion but Brussels are the bomb and these were v. tasty), deepfried tofu bites, and mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was actually even better than expected given the fact it is vegan friendly and thus made without the staples of milk and cheese. The tofu bites were fine but nothing outrageously awesome. Next time I would try one of the meals - so a burger or some nachos. I saw some come out of the kitchen and they looked worth a go!

Honestly super disappointed. We reached this place on a Saturday at 7.45pm. They close at 8.30 on Sat but there was no indication of it anywhere nor did the staff tell us about it when we came in. They came to us at 8pm and asked us to order because the kitchen was almost closed. We ordered two big dishes (nachos and cheese chilli fries) but no suggestions from the staff that we would close soon and you might not able to finish two, so order lesser or smaller portions. Ridiculous on their end, seemed like money grabbing. The lady at the counter was rude too. They started picking up chairs and tables at 8.25pm. And they’re like sorry guys we’re closed you have to leave. Both the dishes weren’t even half finished. No one was around to farewell us or even ask if we wanted to take it away or if we could finish eating until they packed the rest of the area down.<br/>Felt super miserable for paying almost $50 for the food and they didn’t let us eat in peace. Usually restaurants would let the patrons who are already in finish their food but lock it to prevent new people in.<br/>Sorry but I’m never coming back. Rude and ungrateful staff. Food was average and cold.

Pretty disappointed with this place unfortunately...<br/><br/>The location and dining area itself is amazing, with an awesome balcony looking over the shopping strip below.<br/><br/>There really is a lack of decor’ to capitalise on this restaurants location and dining atmosphere - the counter where you pay just had a few craft beers on display!<br/><br/>They have a fantastic menu with plenty of variety to choose from. I ate the double cheese burger, my partner had the sloppy joe and our kids had the ‘chicken’ strips and mac n cheese. Unfortunately all meals were very ordinary with not a lot of taste or flavours. The chicken strips were incredibly oily, our burger patties were barely held together and completely fell a part whilst eating. Very disappointed after hearing some great reviews.<br/><br/>It’s unfortunate as the staff were very friendly and attentive and the location is beautiful.

Loved it all! Except the peanut hot chocolate.. there isn’t a cup big enough for enough of that warm cup of loveliness ♥️ I took my parents there for the UK and they couldn’t speak enough of it! I don’t normally eat meat substitute but if you eat any this is the place to do it. Amazing flavor and taste. We can’t wait to go back... o wish they had one closer to me as I would eat there every week.
HoneyBintheCity
This is a simply gorgeous place to walk into. Tucked up in the Adelaide Arcade, you walk into a beautifully natural lit cafe with 70s vintage class, almost a Parisian feel to it, and it's so refreshing!<br/>It is also a vegan, vego, all the things u are intolerant to heaven! I have to say I'm all for it, and I also love vego dishes, but I also love my meat. So I think I was a bit thrown with the "meat" choices and was a bit outta the loop not knowing it wasn't actually meat haha! Very kool though that you can make jackfruit look like and have the same texture as pulled pork, but next time I'll go with a vego dish I know I'll love. The nachos were great and their hand crafted sodas were seriously good too 👍
Foodie Paradise
My friend and I have a weekly fat Friday lunches here at Two Bits Villain. Their burgers taste just like a normal meat burger! So juicy and rich in flavour I would honestly choose this over any other ‘normal burgers’. My favourite is the baron burger whereas my friend prefers the sloppy joe. Fries on the side are amazing! The seasoning for it is just so right! <br/>They do get quite busy during lunch and we always just phone to order and pick it up to make things easier for us! <br/>The staff there are super friendly too! Will highly recommend!!
Martina Gambacorta
The staff was kind and considerate, the food is honestly the most DELICIOUS vegan food I’ve had, and it’s refreshing to see a company provide good vegan desserts!
Fitmar
Pretty sick place located about Rundle mall. This restaurant includes a huge range of vegetarian and vegan options making it suited to many dietary needs. I however who is not either still very much enjoyed my food, my milkshake was so yummy I ordered a second. I love the atmosphere and the workers are all so chilled out and friendly

I returned after several years and was pleased to find that the service had vastly improved - we were able to order and eat comfortably within a lunch hour. Both burgers that we ordered were delicious - as a carnivore I did not miss the meat. Good fries.
Sereana Suguturaga
The service is superb! The people are so kind and to top it off their food is delicious! While the menu prices are a little bit pricey for me, there is no doubt that this place offers great quality food.
Amelia Joy
Best spot in Adelaide. Perfect for when you want all vegan/vego essential comfort foods like Mac n Cheese, Cheeseburgers, Chilli Cheese Fries etc. So so delicious, service is great, AND THE MILKSHAKES! Beautiful spot especially out on the balcony at night.
Leticia Azzollini
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Honestly my all time favourite place to go when i'm in the city! The chilli cheese fries are a must have, I highly recommended them as they are amazing. <br/>This secret little gem screams aesthetic as it gives off an American diner vibe with the gorgeous option of sitting outside on the balcony where you can watch the city go by! <br/>100% by far one of my favourite restaurants. <br/>P.S. It's a vegetarian restaurant where the meat tastes so real even my meat eater friends were fooled 😋
Samazz
Super friendly and helpful staff, and the best *ever* veganised 'beef' burger that reminded me of good ol' takeaway shop burgers 🤤 will be back to try their take on the chicken burger. So good!
Adel-phoodie
Its hard to fault this place. It is in a great hidden location upstairs with a balcony overlooking the mall. They have vegetarian and vegan burgers which have so much flavour! Their fries have the best seasoning too. There is a vast range of homemade soda options. The staff were really friendly. My only complaint would be their uniform, it could possibly be improved to look nicer and avoid the rude words.
Tash Bee
Shit service. Like really shit. Staff became super judgmental when I didn't want to veganise my meal. Meals took a good 50 minutes to come out no apology. Many people seated after us and served before. Had to ask twice for table water. Food decent but shocking service. Very disappointed.
JBeats
I love it here! If I am being honest I hate fizzy drinks but for some reason every time I come here I always grab a soda, because they are so tasty and fresh ( my Favourite flavour is the watermelon. I also love their burgers and the staff are always happy and always give great service! If you are vegan or vegetarian this is a must go to place in Adelaide!
_foodiej
Simply delicious!<br/><br/>Now, I'm not a vegan nor am I a vegetarian, but I just had to try out Two-Bit Villains anyway as it was on my list. Service was standard and friendly, ambience was very lively, and food was awesome!! The chilli cheese fries topped with guacamole and sour cream was so so delightful (and there's heaps to share around too), and so were the burgers (bloody fantastic)! The only thing that did let this place down was its pricing.<br/><br/>But, it doesn't matter if you're a meat lover or not, as I would still reccomend you to come try out their menu since you might be surprised what taste buds you're in for :)
LyN
Great food enjoyed by even the non-vegetarians amongst us. The kids love it so much we have to make a pilgrimage there every school holiday -it's become a tradition! Service is always excellent and food has never disappointed. Love it!
Vivienne
Great service, a quiet location above the city centre and tasty reasonably-priced vegetarian food. I'm a meat-eater and I was pretty impressed at how good the spicy vegan hotdogs were. They also have house-made sodas and some of the best onion rings I've ever tasted. If you love diner-style food, or if you're a vego who wants to impress a skeptical omni friend, give this place a go! I'd go there for the onion rings alone!

I really like this place. It is located on the balcony level of historic Adelaide Arcade in what used to be the ballroom. From the outside balcony, you get a great view of Rundle Mall and a sense of what it might have been like years ago. Two Bit Villains has a very cool vibe and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Right from the minute you step in the door you feel welcomed. Lunch time can be very busy but Saturday afternoon can be a little less busy. Despite that, the service was still fast in the busy lunch time and the food arrived quickly. The food options are all vegetarian with vegan choices as well. Even a meat lover would enjoy the 'beef' burger I think. Two Bit also specialises in sodas. These are all made from fresh produce so are seasonal. The strawberry and kiwi fruit one was like a meal in itself - very filling along with the burger.<br/>There is so much to like about Two Bit Villains - ambiance, location, service and food. I have been twice now and know that I will go again. Also - messages left by email and Facebook were answered within 2 hours. Impressive!

After a little difficulty finding and navagating our way with a double stroller, baby and toddler in tow, we were a little hesitant to order from a "no meat" burger menu. However, we were hungry and dangerously close to our toddlers nap time so we braved it and ordered chilli fries, "beef" burger, a "chicken" burger and onion rings. While waiting, we had some hand crafted sodas which were delightful and a bargain for $5 for a huge glass.<br/>The food came and it was packed full of flavour, crunch and accompanied with the perfect amount of sauces and seasoning.<br/>The staff were so friendly and for a hipsterish restaurant not judgy at all while we wrangled our toddler and breastfed my baby.<br/>Additionally, our toddler started having a meltdown as she was overtired and the staff obliged by giving us takeaway containers as they could see we needed to make a quick exit.<br/>Thanks for a great meal girls!

My go to place! Never disappointing, would recommend to any vego or non-vegos out there. Great view of the city on the balcony aswell. They have vegan alternatives for everything which is also very nice. Drinks are creative and fun.

Farewell lunch for work colleague who's a chilled mate and into vego so Two Bit was suggested.  Six of us arrived and found our table.  Nice simple menu - with "meat" as such.  I chose the vego burger and my mate had a chip burger.  Could've been verbalised that we had to order at the counter. Took some time for meals to come, as work lunch, would've benefited from more speed! My vego burger was pretty delish, the avocado a great touch.  My friends chip burger was good, though for him, the combo was somewhat unusual.  Decor I felt needed more flamboyance!  I'll be back though as the food was delish!

Great food, brilliant atmosphere but slowish service, especially for a workday lunch break. Go there just for the vegan Mac and cheese. It's sorcery. I so want to be a fly on the wall in that kitchen.

Two-Bit Villans is located in a gorgeous space, beautiful high ceilings, so much light, and just a relaxing but hip setup.<br/>Service is always helpful and welcoming, willing to answer questions. Over a number of visits, I've tried the Cheeseburger, the Classic Burger with chips-YUM, and most recently, Nachos - OMG! All dishes have been very flavoursome, soft, juicy and filling. <br/><br/>They also make their own in-house sodas. I tried the unsweetened one with ginger, mint and lime. It was a bit bland and unexciting. Of the sweetened sodas, I tried blueberry and blackberry flavours, and they was delish (ah, sugar is magic, what can I say!) <br/>Overall, a pretty cool place.

This place is great for effort but a bit hit and miss - the chik'n burger is really bland and messy, but the fries, onion rings and most burgers are solid. Great place to take omnivores, but make sure you book because it gets busy.

Hey you guys, have you heard about Two-Bit Villains? I am probably a bit slow to catch on, but this soda bar & diner (est. in 2011) is secreted away in the upper balcony of the Adelaide Arcade – and it’s vegan! I was fascinated to try one of their ‘beef’ (soy) burgers and see how it measures up, so on the waitress’s recommendation I ordered the Baron, with the soy patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese and smokey BBQ sauce – plus I added pickles ($12, plus 50c for the pickles). The burger came with fries, and let me tell you, the herbed seasoning they use is actually amazing! When I asked what was in it, I was told it’s the chef’s special, so they’re not giving up any secrets! First bite of the burger is all about

I've been here several times (both the new location and the old one) and I find it's a really cool place to find American foods which are vegetarian or vegan, and all to hang out with your friends. I tried the panko 'chicken' burger the other week, which was actually crumbed tofu in a bun with baby spinach, sweet potato mash and gravy. If you want to find meatless meat that actually resembles meat, don't order this burger. It doesn't taste like chicken at all, but if you like tofu and aren't hoping for a chicken taste then you'll like this burger. It's really filling too, especially if you get a side order of fries or onion rings with it. <br/><br/>Oh and the soda floats here are FAB as well. The sodas are hand crafted and don't have that high carbonated taste that soft drinks have. All in all, a really funky place that's relaxed and serves great food.
ChefKimmy
I got two menu items; the sweet potato pot pie, and a vanilla malt "thick shake". The pot pie casserole was under seasoned and lacked flavour. You'd expect a pot pie with mash on top to have a crisp crust after being baked, but this seemed to just have a scoop of mash placed on top of the casserole, which was a bummer. <br/><br/>And then the thickshake was more like a milkshake, and was far over priced for what I had placed infront of me. 300ml milk, vanilla malt flavoured syrup, and one scoop of icecream should not cost $7.50.<br/><br/>This place is great for vegans and vegetarians, but the quality was definitely lacking.
Kym Le
I love two bit villains, their homemade sodas are delish. I've had their burgers and chilli cheese fries which were amazing and I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the city again

I've been to TBV when they only had a small store in Adelaide Arcade, and now that they've moved to the high coveted balcony area of the Arcade (which, unfortunately was under reno and not open to the public at the time), we decided to give it another go.<br/><br/>The store area is now much bigger with insanely beautiful columns and remnants of the gorgeous arcade prominent. Decor is simple, going for the chilled back, relaxing Hawaiian slash American surf slash 50s pin-up look. <br/><br/>You should also know that this is a strictly vegan place, so every meat item on the menu has been substituted with 'meat' - either soy or beans. Which might not necessarily be the most appetising for meat lovers like myself, but would be great for vegans. <br/><br/>I got the Sloppy Joe burger, which as the name suggests, was rather sloppy. I had issues last time with the patty being really soggy and wet, and it was the same this time round as well. The burger itself wasn't very inspiring, the fillings were basic and the 'meat' wasn't overly marinated. The buns were well toasted and cheesed however. The chips were a standout. I got a milkshake as well, the choc peanut shake, which was good but it wasn't anything memorable.<br/><br/>Overall, come if you're a vegan or vegetarian food lover, but if you're looking for something more, give it a miss.
Alyssa
Actually my favourite place to eat ever! I look forward to the days when I can come and I think about the fries all day everyday. Thanks for the great service and yummy food!

Love the food, environment, speed <br/>and love the service from beard guy and pony tail guy<br/>The fries are what I live for, and the soy patties are tasty<br/>You guys rock socks
Famished
Fun place to visit, however I feel that the food is a little overrated. Whilst I'm all for more vegan options, I can't always see originality or value for money in the dishes.<br/><br/>Nachos are nice, and the burgers ok. Sodas are a tad sickly for my liking, but look terrific, and will appeal to anyone with a sweet tooth. <br/><br/>On the plus side, their new venue is great for accommodating more people, and I hear they do fabulous onion rings.
Carrie Lee
Meals are well priced and lots of options to chose from. Friendly staff and its a cool joint in the arcade-  not many soda diners around! Try the pulled pork if you can, it sells out quick!
Steamrollersam
Extremely slow service.  Bills itself healthy fast food -- look at the menu and decide for yourself.  It's a wonder what's keeping this joint open.
Olivia Pan
Very good environment, good sevice~ The food is pretty fresh n taste good too. And very suprised when i know that all the food are made by vegs...
Lorna Downes
Sodas were delicious. The burgers were the best we've ever had (sloppy joe and el bandito) and the sundae great too. Atmosphere a tiny bit lacking due to emptiness. Loved it
Monica
Love fast food but want to feel better about yourself for eating it? Well Two Bit Villains might be your one-stop solution. Priding themselves on their handmade botanical soda and vegetarian-dedicated menu, predominantly featuring burgers with faux meat; 'chicken' and 'mince' (soy), this getup is alty as f*ck. Similarly, hipster wait staff and tiki decor such as animal-print chairs, faux floristry, vintage canvases and odd items charmingly decorate the grand balcony atop Adelaide Arcade. For lunch we gormandised on the 'Villains' classic veggie burger;' $12.50 a tasty amalgamation of a chickpea and lentil patty, smashed avo and condiments. The onion rings were a tad overcooked but still tasted decent while the passionfruit soda was a bit artificially sweet for my liking. A pretty good spot, and they even have many vegan and gluten free options for those batting on the dietary extremes.
Katie P
Great food, nice venue, and I love that everything can be ordered vegan. They also have gluten free versions of most of the menu, which is fantastic. The nachos are amazing!
Bianca Lazar
Sarsaparilla Float was great, beautiful ice cream and a grown up soda with real flavour, not just a sugary hit.<br/><br/>Would like to go back to try some food - chilli cheese fries will get me back through the door and we will go from there...
Mr. Potato-san
Another day out for lunch! This time we decided to head over to Adelaide Arcade to try Two-Bit Villains, which was located on the balcony level. Honestly, this is the first time going to the balcony level, so I missed the stairs up a few times, so that was quite fail of me. <br/><br/>When I saw a quick glimpse of the restaurant, I knew the interior will be decently designed, and it didn't disappoint when I walked in. The restaurant was smaller than anticipated however it was nice and cosy. The decorations and seating was also nicely placed (really like their cactus...).<br/><br/>The waitress quickly approached us, and tried finding a seat for us. It was during lunch time, so there wasn't much seats remaining, so we got seated at the "coach" table. This table is terrible if you want to eat and if you're tall, but nice if you're just chilling and enjoying a drink. We did both, so it was good and bad for us. They also had the balcony opened for customers to view Rundle Mall from above, and that was quite nice especially on such a beautiful sunny day. <br/><br/>Now onto the food! We ordered a soda, burger each and a large onion rings to share. We ordered the "Baron Burger" and "Fowl Play Burger", and for sodas, we ordered "Cream soda", "Apple Pie" and "Passionfruit". Starting off with the soda, since they are known as "soda specialist". I was impressed with mine (apple pie). At first, I was expecting a typical apple cider of some sort, but nope, it actually tasted like apple pie! It was really weird at first, because I never imagined having an apple pie in liquid form, and I slowly got use to it and enjoyed it near the end. The soda would be better if it could be a bit colder, especially when the heat is coming back soon.<br/><br/>For the burgers, the Baron Burger was pretty standard, but the sauce really stuck out for me. This is probably the "healthiest" burger I've had, despite not ordering vegetarian, but it was still pretty flavoursome. The Fowl Play on the other hand though, I honestly thought their "chicken" would be legit chicken. I was wrong. Their chicken had the texture of "Youtiao", which is also known as Chinese oil stick/Chinese doughnut. That was one unexpected chicken, I was quite disappointed with it at first, but once I accepted that there was no real chicken in it, the burger still taste good. The mashed sweet potato was very interesting, but it went well with it. The onion rings was probably the most normal thing we had, and luckily it actually tasted like normal ones, but crunchier. <br/><br/>Overall, Two-Bit Villains was one interesting experience, with their burgers leaning more to the healthy side, and great specialized sodas. I would definitely come back next time to try their remaining burgers and sodas, but with a "healthy lunch" mindset.
Molly Connell
Loved the cream soda home made soda. The raspberry was also quite nice. The flavouring on the chips is a great mix, not too salty or overpowering. I would not recommend it for a quick lunch as it gets quite busy and they're not particularly speedy at those times. The 'long arm of the slaw' burger with 'pulled pork' was good but I would not recommend for people who are put off by meat substitutes that look extremely meaty. A burger with the pressed 'beef' patty might be a better option if that is the case!
Julia Clarke
Two Bit Villains have been upstairs in the Adelaide Arcade for years & have recently moved from their small, unassuming space upstairs to the large balcony space at the Rundle Mall end.  <br/><br/>The new space looks absolutely gorgeous.  With a balcony, large windows & perfect signwork, it certainly has the 'wow' factor.  Fitting a Rockabilly outfit inside is a tricky one - It looks really nice, but it feels so strange with the ornate stylings of the room.  I kinda like the eclectic'ness' of it all, though.<br/><br/>The food is Americana, with their specialty being the hand made sodas!  On this occasion, a friend ordered a Raspberry soda, another friend ordered (i have more than one?! OMG) the Vanilla Malt shake & I ordered a Strawberry shake.    The shake was SO GOD DAMN YUMMY.    I tried the Vanilla Malt and I WILL be getting it next time. <br/><br/>But their sodas?!  Brilliant.  Full of flavour and love. <br/><br/>We also ordered food.  When you read the menu & squint (much like a magic eye) you start to realise that there is in fact no meat on this burger menu.  Which they never really out-right mention (schneaky schneaky).  It appears much of the menu is a Soy Substitute and nearly all meals can be made Vegan / Vegetarian or Gluten Free.<br/><br/>This made me nervous, so I ordered the nachos, which had no soy.    It did have beans, guac, a salsa, corn, carrot and cheese.  They were delicious & super filling. They did take a while to come out however.<br/><br/>We also ordered some onion rings which were really really great.  I feel like I could've eaten them all myself.<br/><br/>The others I was with ordered a 'meat' (soy) burger.  They said they didn't mind it but I'm not sure if they loved it. I can't talk for them, though!<br/><br/>Definitely pop up for some soda or a milkshake and a gander at the premises!
Ally Sinclair
In short, if you have time and are allergic to life this is the place to try. It's such a cute place. With the sun shinning through the windows with a cool breeze it was a perfect spot for lunch. The food...amazing. Very flavorsome considering that it's vegan and gluten free - however not as good as i was excepting. When it comes to the vegan cheese, don't bother, you cannot taste it at all. Otherwise my drink wasn't properly mixed so the flavors separated and tasted quite bad but once mixed properly it was pretty good. But the service was the real let down! The waitress was absolutely awful! Clueless, vague, slow, unorganized. and then after all that the food took half an hour to come out! 30min for a burger is ridiculous! But enough complaining, in the end it's worth trying out on a breezy spring day when you have nothing and nowhere to be.

I tried both the 'Long Arm of the Slaw' and the 'Baron' burgers and both were fantastic. The buns were thick but not too soft/hard which provided for a good mouth feel. The burgers themselves were complex and flavorful. I believe (I could be wrong) that the Slaw burger's pulled bbq filling is jackfruit, which makes a really good pulled meat texture. I ordered a basket of onion rings as well, which were very well prepared and amply supplied. The decor was a little sparse and lacking but, as I understand, they recently moved and will be decorating the new space further. Service was great. Some people complain of long wait times but the food was delivered promptly, even with most tables being full. Very satisfied and will be returning soon!

Two Bit Villains have some real positives going for them along with some negatives. Unfortunately one of the negatives is the burgers. They have only just moved to their bigger premises down the hall (literally), so understandable they are still ironing out some kinks.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>We tried the El Bandido and the Classic Veggie. True to their description, the buns are warm and soft, but apart from that I didn't find a lot of joy in either of the burgers. The patties were ok texturally but were a little bit flavourless. The same could be said of the sauces on both burgers. The chipotle sauce on the EL Bandido was too subtle for me, considering that was why I ended up choosing it. The tomato relish on the classic wasn't a winner either. I wouldn't say that these are bad burgers, just that I've had much better veggie burgers. I'm also really surprised at the lack of a mushroom burger option. That's not a criticism, just an observation. I'm still keen to go back at some point and try the soy patty.<br/>I wasn't a huge fan of the chocolate shake or the lemon squash either. The shake was lukewarm and the chocolate wasn't an enjoyable flavour. The lemon squash needed a little bit of sugar to balance it out.<br/>On the plus side, the chilli cheese fries were epicly delicious and the tater tots were great too.<br/><br/>Service:<br/>I think it's harsh to be critical of the service at this point, given that they've only just moved, but I can only call it as I see it. At the moment the service is very slow so make sure you set aside some time to eat here. The staff are friendly enough though.<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>This is my favourite part of Two Bit Villains. What a gorgeous space it is itself, and is a part of. It's a nice big open plan with plenty of natural light and it's clean and fresh. And the arcade is one of my favourite spots in Adelaide, such a cool and interesting place to hang out.<br/><br/>Dish to look out for:<br/>Definitely the chill cheese fries.
A Bite Of Adelaide
service: gooood ✔️✔️<br/>food/coffee: interesting, different, quirky but delicious <br/>atmosphere: cool and relaxing <br/>accommodates for allergies: YES VEGAN VEGETARIAN GLUTEN FREE AND THE REST<br/>my favourite item on the menu: burger and chips
But I'm Hungry Now
Hidden away on the upper level of the Adelaide Arcade is this quirky burger joint. Stepping through the door, it looks like a local tropical beach-side bar, crossed with a 50's diner with a dash of comic-con memorabilia. It's quite a small premises so you need to get in early if you want a seat. Judging by the steady stream of customers that quickly filled up the place, it's a particular hit with students and comic fans.<br/><br/>The menu is purely vegetarian with gluten free and vegan options. They also do a variety of handcrafted sodas. The friendly girl behind the counter even asked if I had any dietary requirements. I ordered the El Bandido Burger which is made with a black bean patty and chipolte mayo with a side of fries.<br/><br/>The meal was served in a basket lined with purple napkins. The bun was large and soft, the patty was full of flavour and the mayo had just the right amount of heat. The shoestring fries were crunchy and very well seasoned (just the way I like them). The meal was very filling and I didn't miss the meat at all!<br/><br/>The only downsides were that the place is so small and I think they only had one staff member on during lunch which meant I had to wait over 30 mins for my meal. Other than that, great tasting food and a unique concept.<br/><br/>Just had word that they are moving to a bigger premises in the Adelaide Arcade - great news! :)

Loving this out of the way, fun, fresh diner! Upstairs inAdelaide Arcade, you could easily miss it while you wander through. Burgers, hot dogs, nachos... I wanna come here everyday for lunch! Today I tried the nachos with sour cream and guac and I was pretty happy with myself. My friend had a veggie burger (yes, they have a vegetarian menu) and also loved it BUT I didn't love the fries- too much seasoning and I'm not a skinny fry person, so I felt let down. That feeling didn't last long though because then I had my raspberry soda float (aka a raspberry spider) and everything was right with the world again! Highly recommended for a funky lunch break.
Megan_the_explorer
Really disappointing! Burgers are absolutely horrible! We had 3 bites and decided to leave. Really bad quality meat and everything smothered in BBQ sauce. Tasted gross. Don't waste your time!

Mobile review. I've been to two bit villains plenty of times, as it's one of the few places you can get decent vegan burgers or 'junk food...' it's a treat and the sodas are pretty amazing too. But, I've learnt not to come here when it's busy because it is sooo slow - my friends and I waited almost an hour for two hotdogs and a burger which anywhere else would be totally unacceptable.

Ginger Soda - Old School, Refreshing and Tasty. As above, I just wish I was hungry when I went as the food looked delish. <br/>My coffee buddy had a soy iced coffee that was larger than life.<br/>Will be back!

Holy delicious. My first time at Two-Bit and certainly not my last!<br/>I wandered in for a bite and wasn't left disappointed. <br/>I ordered the El Bandido burger with a side of fries. Being a black bean burger, I was a little worried that it would be a rock-hard thick patty but went along with the order because of the promise of chipotle sauce (always a logical conclusion).<br/>I was very happily proven wrong and the patty was soft and I think had quinoa in it? But it was well seasoned, tasted delicious and the chipotle sauce was great too. It wasn't weak on the heat and while not super hot, left a pleasant tingle on my tongue. Fries were seasoned with something other than salt which added more savoury goodness to the meal.<br/>I'll be back again very soon and can't wait to try a soda. Thanks guys!

Great Vego! Love the milkshakes :). Love the concept of this place<br/>I enjoyed taking my big vegetarian man out for lunch where he can decide what he wants to order rather than be forced to choose between a bowl of chips or a bowl of wedges...<br/>We had the nachos & onion rings & a sloppy joe & we both enjoyed our meals.<br/>So it is not award winning, Michelin star food - it's yummy, it's naughty, it's fresh & it's made with love.<br/><br/>Lime milkshakes kick ass. Thanks team :) Yeah we'll be back.

Bang on!. Get the hotdog, or the chilli cheese fries!!<br/><br/>I don't care what anyone says, I honestly thought they were meat... I had to double check if they were or not! Hahaha. So good.<br/><br/>We can all stand to eat 'cruelty-free' once in a while even if we are normally carnivores, A+++ from me. V impressive.<br/><br/>These guys dont have that "bad attitude" that most veg/vegan places have in adelaide, they're very chill.

A different atmosphere! This place has a unique decor with also a unique style of seating arrangement. There are high stools, normal chairs to small comfy sofas. Also, there is music playing which adds that extra touch creating a unique vibe! Would reccomend. Food was also quite nice
Mrm76
Disappointed with lack of decor. Really expected more in the way of the 50's style decor & more merchandise dresses for sale etc. Really would have thought that would have used old style glasses and old straws etc. I ordered Nachos & it was served in a basket with baking paper in it? The walls had bamboo on walls & umbrellas like either Asian or Hawaiian style. Sorry just not in the right era. Don't serve your food on baking paper!

Heck yes!. Love it. Brought my vegan girlfriend here and she was in heaven.<br/><br/>If you're sharing with a meat eater try the chilli cheese fries or hotdog, can't even tell the difference!<br/><br/>They have beer battered onion rings which are pretty rad too, and have onion rings that vegans can eat which my gf says is rare (I think they're crumbed).<br/><br/>All round awesome
Magnetic Cat
The vibe here is 50s luau-themed diner and is quite cute. The sodas are extraordinary - although you'll have to go several times to try the full selection (only a few are on offer each day). The service is really friendly and quick. Vegan diners have very extensive options, with their own dedicated menu - and virtually no "off-limits" main menu items. The burgers are tasty, chilli cheese fries are amazing and the onion rings are perfect. The only thing I don't like as much about this place is that they serve their food in little baskets, which gets really awkward and messy. Definitely a fun and special place though. I really hope it survives tucked upstairs in Adelaide Arcade. It's so unique and committed to its theme! Love it!
Emily
It was okay, not really that special or yummy for vegans. I don't recommend for vegan eaters.
Mashedpotato
100 % VEGETARIAN. It is marketed as a diner and soda bar. It is not a diner, you do not sit along a bench and eat your food. The have less than half of the sodas available, but they were delicious. The onion rings are amazing. I had the vegetarian burger, it was ok, the cheese is on the bun not the "burger" so you cant really see or taste it, There was plenty of avocado, and the relish was delicious, The chips were nicely seasoned. Service was pretty good. Takes Bookings
Laura
Amazing menu(s)! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free deliciousness. The only downside is that the vegan onion rings are processed, crumbed ones, whereas the vegetarian ones are gigantic, battered beauties. Very disappointing when you're not expecting them to be any different. GF burgers are made with toast, rather than buns. Chilli cheese fries are to die for. Will definitely be back for more.

Everything was great. Wicked stuff!<br/><br/>Coffee icey: They even have vegan icecream!! These guys rule.<br/><br/>Nachos: Nice & fresh, none of that microwave salsa crap, vegan cheese was a bonus!<br/><br/>Chilli cheese fries: Really the king here, worth the wait (takes a few extra minutes) get it with guacamooooleeee.<br/><br/>Very busy sometimes but thats ok they do their best to keep up
Bobby
Had the vegan nachos and onion rings.<br/><br/>Vegan nachos: Made with Doritos chips. Very sugary, store bought tomato and bean salsa with grated carrot. I can make this in 2 minutes at home. Not very nice.<br/><br/>Onion rings: not whole onions, made with reconstituted onions. It means they're all the same size and shape with so much more crumb than 'onion' filling. So much oil, not very good.<br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend this place
Annabanana
I almost don't feel cool enough to eat here but don't let that out you off the yummy food. Location is hard to find if you don't know where to go but worth the hunt

Anything wrapped in quotation marks is usually code for 'not meat'.. I quite enjoyed my experience at Two Bit Villains last week. <br/><br/>My first impression was certainly influenced by the decor, it was very interesting and quirky; maybe a little over the top but at-least it was fun (and my personal taste is irrelevant, you can't please everyone with the small things). <br/><br/>I ordered the vegetarian nachos and a hand-made raspberry soda, and it was only $15 for the lot! <br/>I found the nachos to be delicious, cheesy but not excessively so, and the bean mix was quite tasty. <br/>The soda was delicious, it actually tasted like raspberries! I would liked to have seen some mint and lemon included (but again, that's just personal taste), how it was on it's own was delicious. <br/><br/>My friend had a sloppy joe which was obviously made with a soy-based mince substitute, and he didn't even notice or care (he is a meat enthusiast, just for the record) and said it was barely distinguishable from the tangle of herbs and spices and sauce it was cooked in. He also had a vanilla malt shake which he really liked, and it came out in this quirky jar with a fun old-fashioned straw and a plastic flamingo poking out the top!<br/><br/>There was a wait on the food which they mentioned when we ordered, about twenty minutes, and it would have been good if the staff prioritised getting our drinks out a little earlier (but I probably would have finished it before the food came out so it was good in the end). <br/><br/>Some improvements that they could make would be to have some table water brought out to the customers, especially if there's a food wait, and maybe hire an extra person so that they can have someone to be available for customers and to make sure that the little things are taken care of; like table water, napkins, setting tables, etc. <br/><br/>There's a cute little museum across the way for anyone who's interested in the local history, and a laminated paper from the 1930's to flick through which is so funny and worth the look.<br/><br/>In the end we've got good food, pretty decor, but the staff need to work on having a presence and actually making the customer experience good instead of relying on the food to do that. In my experience it absolutely did, but that's quite a precarious thing to rely on.

I dropped in when I was without my partner and fancy-free. Although the fries burger looked so tempting I rationalised my ahem-second burger (it was Tuesday!) by settling on the veggie burger. The patty was decidedly homemade, which is definitely a good thing, and mustard and tomato sauce combination was tops! Although a blantant carnivore now, I was vegetarian for 20 odd years and could see how this would totally appeal to vegos and vegans, who might struggle for something decent elsewhere. Meateaters, as long as you know there's no meat going in you'll love it too. Despite the lack of meat, I loved the burger. The mint tea was AWESOME. So good. I'm a huge fan of their sodas and thus how I can find the store. It's tucked away but worth the adventure! I'd go back for sure.

I think a lot of people miss the point with this place.. they're all vegetarian but its designed so that non-veg people can eat there without feeling 'judged' too. Its welcoming to all types. This is my favorite place to take my vegan partner because we can both eat and I can get a burger and onion rings and a shake without having to get a stupid salad or bean curry!!<br/><br/>If you like meat and feel like you might be missing out here - dont. Get onion rings or a hotdog yeah!<br/><br/>They get really busy over lunch so book or go after 2 if you're in a hurry.<br/><br/>ps. Fake bacon is not "spam" as someone else wrote, way to be open minded dude..
Tenielle Nuske
Really disappointed. My friend and I ordered Sloppy Joes with what was written on the standard menu as mince, but came out with a bland tofu type slush instead. Another friend ordered a BLT which came out with fried spam instead of bacon. Legitimately one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Won't be visiting ever again.
Moira Norwood
Chilli cheese fries are actually the most amazing thing I have ever tasted!!!!
Es22
A bit deceiving. Looking at the menu online I was very keen once I saw they had sloppy joes. Having both a standard & vegan menu I was under the impression that this would be a proper sloppy joe with actual mince, not a soy replacement. Not sure why you would have a vegan menu when everything is vegan? Burger was cold and a bit of a disappointment, however the fries were good. Not good enough to warrant a return though.

Yum-a-licious. Onion Rings = *Drool*<br/>Vanilla Malt Shake = *Content Sigh*<br/>Fries Burger = *My jeans don't do up anymore but I'm too happy to care*<br/><br/>This place is an Adelaide hidden treasure!<br/><br/>Liam and Sass (the owners) are great, generous and caring!<br/>The atmosphere is wicked, warm and inviting!<br/>The food and beverages are just too good!!<br/><br/>So go, eat and enjoy!<br/><br/>x.

All of the Love!. I first heard about Two-Bit last year through a mutual friend. She raved about the people and the place, and convinced me that it was a must-visit location for vegan eats. <br/><br/>First, the decor and location:<br/>Sadly, Two-Bit is located at the top of Adelaide Arcade. Everyone I've ever taken their has walked straight past the stairway until I call them back. Then we labor up the stairs, bribing ourselves with the fact that lunch is almost within our grasp. Finally, we make it, and you're hit with a burst of colour and brightness that manages not to be overwhelming. The recent overhaul of their decor provides several seating options, so you can come in with larger groups, or tuck yourself away in a corner and people watch. The two best things are the attention to detail (the way the lace on the seats match the colour of the tablecloths) and the music!<br/><br/>The food!<br/>Sass and Liam offer a incredible dedication to dietary requirements and health, without sacrificing taste. I know I'm coming in with the whiny vegan voice now, but it's so helpful to go to lunch and know that the people making my food understand what I can and can't eat. I also really love having choice! The menu is comprehensive, and gives me as many options as my hungry brain can handle. Sass and Liam have also gone to great lengths experimenting with new food ideas and menu items that allow the vegans to eat the same thing as their non-vegan friends.<br/>I'll admit, I've been disappointed a few times when I've come in and not been able to order what I want, but I also know that everything is made by two people, and that they can't make a bajillion things in advance, just in case one thing is more popular than usual (and just think of how wasteful that would be).<br/>I always enjoy my food, I always want more afterwards (not because I'm still hungry but because reasons) and I always feel safe eating here.<br/><br/>Finally, the people:<br/>Sass and Liam are excellent. They're friendly to everyone, they're accommodating to customer needs, and they are always happy to receive constructive feedback. <br/><br/>And that's that. I love the place, I love the food, and I love the people. Go to Two-Bit gorrammit!! NOW!
Onegreedygirl
Delish! Best onion rings I've ever had - nice and crispy and not soggy. Onion ring burger is a stroke of brilliance.<br/>Fries are crisp and salty, as fries ought to be. The veggie burger is a proper burger - huge and substantial. <br/>My only criticism was the buns were a little stale and therefore crumbly. Also the sloppy joe mince is very sweet - almost a plum sauce kind of taste, so perhaps not to everyone's liking.<br/>Other than that, fantastic and creative food.
Emma Dawson Spencer
My guilty pleasure. Two-bit villains, another small couple-owned business that I recommend going to if you feel like escaping 2013 society for awhile.<br/>Vegan and vegetarian junk food, sometimes us vegos want to feel a little naughty, and this place hits the spot everytime, team a sloppy joes burger with the fries and you end up feeling like the only way to leave will be to roll out!<br/>Tasty food, kind-hearted people with bright smiles, considering it's a business run by two people and sometimes a couple helpers, any out-of-the-ordinary time spent waiting on the food can be forgiven.

Everything Is Delicious In This Counter-Culture Hub. If you haven't already eaten here, you should change that quickly. Really. Go, now.<br/><br/>As everyone says, the onion rings are a scrumptious necessity on your first visit (if not every visit). All four of their current burgers are excellent - who would've guessed a burger without meat could be so gosh-darn amazing! I'd recommend asking for a few extra napkins if you choose to tackle their sloppy joe. Rumour has it, more exciting burgers are to be added to their menu. Their sodas are homemade and most likely the best you'll find around, but alternately their shakes are delicious too.<br/><br/>I could continue listing off menu items and how they are brilliant both in and around the mouth, but I don't think I can come up with enough variations of "good" to describe everything... also I haven't tried everything yet.<br/>Instead, I'll focus on the people. Sass and Liam are great. Surely you couldn't find nicer people to make and serve you lunch. The customer service here is top notch.<br/><br/>So in summery: all their food and drink is highly edible and quality (with many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options), the owners/staff are lovely people, and it's definitely a key point (if not the point of which everything else revolves around) in the Adelaide counter-culture/rockabilly and related scenes.<br/><br/>WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS WHEN YOU COULD BE THERE NOW, CONSUMING THEIR FOOD.
Leena
Vegetarian's delight. The vegie burger was very tasty, loved that it was a homemade patty and all the other components complimented each other well. Raspberry soda was okay, nothing to rave about, I wish it had been fizzier. It was a bit tricky eating at the bar (there is limited seating) as the stools are quite wobbly. Will definitely go back to try the vegetarian Sloppy Joe and onion rings.
Anthea
Its my home away from home. Such a friendly, peaceful laid back atmosphere with comfy chairs, good music. Often if getting on the bus for the trip home fromwork looks too hard, I stop by for my favourite soda and a delicious fries burger. Oh AND there is kickass fashion! I may or may not have slowly restyled my entire wardrobe through these guys. Not to mention did half my christmas shopping last year buying neat crafty accessories. So much love. A must have Adelaide haunt.

Best shakes in town, hands down. All of their burgers are top notch too, the onion ring and veggie burger in particular is brilliant. <br/><br/>All in all 5/5.

Fresh and filling. Went there for lunch today and was surprised that their standard menu and vegetarian menu were no different. I was expecting some kind of meat in the standard menu, but not really a problem.<br/>I had the toasty and onion rings and it was pretty good. The toasty was made with thick bread and the ingredients were fresh. Nothing I couldn't have made at home though. The onion rings were definitely the best ones I've ever had in Adelaide - crunchy, big, juicy onions but slightly salty. Very impressed with the serving sizes though.<br/>I also had the passionfruit soda. A bit too sweet for my liking and not really fizzy enough, but it was reasonably priced. <br/>Overall it was a very nice lunch, but nothing amazing.

Best Onion Rings... Ever!. Lets forget for a minute the amazing atmosphere, gorgeous decor and wonderfully kitchy seating arrangements. Lets not talk about the vast array of vintage and rockabilly style clothing for sale. We can put aside the amazing hand made soda, and the tasty as all get out, vegan friendly menu and just focus, for a brief, beautiful moment-<br/>On the wholeheartedly best onion rings I have EVER had in my life.<br/>If you do only one thing for yourself, this year, go and eat onion rings at Two Bit Villians.

Best.. Took this chick I met at a party, shes vegetarian and was well impressed.

SODA ADDICT. This cute little tiki soda bar is one of a kind in Adelaide. The only place i've been where they make their own soda. From scratch. and you can tell. I'm addicted to the creaming soda. It's the best creaming soda i've ever had. My other favourites are dirty root and the chai soda too. It's probably a bit more expensive than buying a coke from the supermarket, but i would much rather spend $5 on a home made creaming soda than give $3 to cocacola. <br/>The onion rings are also awesome. I didn't know onion rings could actually taste good until i tried theirs. They are constantly adding items to the menu, the nachos are a winner.<br/>While you're waiting for food you can browse the retro style clothes and accessories on the other side of the shop.<br/>This little soda bar/ shop is a treasure, I think pretty soon they will need to expand because every time i go in there it's packed!

It's pricey.... ...but the creaming soda was very yummy.<br/><br/>The spicy onion rings were also very good, but probably too salty to have by themselves. Possibly better in a burger, or with a toastie.

ONION RINGS. Best damn onion rings I've ever had!
Little Red-Haired Girl
Funky Soda Bar. I accidentally stumbled across this place today and am so glad I did. The decor was funky and the waitress was really friendly. I asked her to recommend some sodas to me and she suggested Creaming Soda and Dirty Root (each $5). They were both fantastic. I will be back for sure to try the other sodas.

Tasty. So impressed that these guys cater for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free etc we found something that everyone in our group could eat.<br/><br/>Even better now they're open 7 days, heaps more convenient<br/><br/>TASTY!!

If you’re looking for some fast food of the high salt, high fat and high sugar variety this your place. It’s essentially the vego’s McDonalds.

Two Bit Villains (TBV) is a soda bar, diner and clothing store in the upper level of the beautiful Adelaide Arcade.
Lani
One of my favourite places was a little shop by the name of Two Bit Villains, tucked away on the upper level of Adelaide Arcade. Oozing rockabilly glamour, this place makes their own sodas from scratch. Oh boy, are they good. I had a creaming soda float as they had sold out of the one I was dying to try - chai soda. I was not disappointed. At a measly $6, you get a large cup
On The Chopping Board
Vegans everywhere have been raving about this place for weeks so I thought it was about time I tried it. I entered Adelaide Arcade from Grenfell St, moseyed my way upstairs to a find an entire level of closed shops, apart from one. This is the only open business upstairs in Adelaide Arcade on Saturday I checked in on Yelp and Foursquare, mentioned the people I was dining with and eventually resorted to tweeting myself while I waited for my freshly made blueberry soda. I chose blueberry because the three other flavours I wanted weren't available. Hannah, Nick and Mark arrived as I was half way through my soda and perusing the vegan menu. The vegan menu is one of four menus on offer (the others are 'standard menu', 'vegetarian menu' and 'gluten free menu'). Vegan menu and my blueberry soda. Hannah and Nick ordered the Veggie Burger from the standard menu, Mark ordered a Toasty & Fries and I ordered the Nacho Man because the Sloppy Joe wasn't available (are you starting to see a trend?).

Lunched at soda bar/diner/rockabilly store: Two Bit Villains on level 2 in the Adelaide Arcade. Chai icey: silky syrup blended with lightly aerated milk topped with ice cream and cream; $6.50 Hot choc mint; $5.50 A cold beverage for F and a warm chocolately one for I. Tasty hot choc mint with sweet hot chocolate with mint and creamy soy milk served in a mid sized cup with an accompanied wooden flat spoon. Sloppy joe: a soft warm bun, lettuce, tomato, cheese, stuffed with a sweet and savoury ‘mince’ and steak sauce; $11.50 add a side of fries $2.00 add a side of onion rings $3.00 Sloppy joes for each! Much to our surprise and let down, the ‘mince’ in our sloppy joes ordered from the ‘standard menu’ was in fact… not meat. That baffled us as why would there be a ‘standard menu’ and a ‘vegetarian’ and ‘vegan’ menu if the sloppy joes on their menu were pretty much the same? Fries were good, crispy and carberiffic but we both thought that the onion rings tasted strange – we suspected it was
